Regular Season MVP Award "Mitch Higgins Trophy"

Mitch Higgins Trophy is given to the most valuable player last season. It is an award that emphasis leadership ability and unparalleled skill that is only found in some players.

For us this season we have had many great players all around the VHLM and the award committee had a tough time decided who will take home the trophy.

In award committee ballots there 4 different nominees that received at least 1 vote, but in this case we did have a clear winner and a clear runner-up for this award.

Runner up for this award was the brilliant sniper and the backbone of success in Mexico City, Jaxon Walker.

Ladies and gentlemen, a winner of Mitch Higgins Trophy of S69 is none else than the amazing Danny DeYeeto of Saskatoon Wild!

Congratulations @Cran!

Next up - Playoff MVP - Skylar Rift Trophy!

Playoff MVP Award "Skylar Rift Trophy"

Award that shows player's ability to perform on the next level in a situation when it means the most. A playoff MVP embodies a true dedication to being clutch and having the strength to be the player that everyone on your team can rely on. This is an award that represents a true hero for his team and fans!

With that said, VHLM Award committee was extremely divided on who deserves the award this season. With that said, here are the winners of "Skylar Rift Trophy"

Award is going to be given to 3 Outstanding VHLM players!
Jimmy Spyro of Mississauga Hounds

Edwin THE Encarnacion of Saskatoon Wild

Jacques Lafontaine of Saskatoon Wild

Congratulations to @Spyro, @Tagger and @SlapshotDragon

Runner up for an award given to the top defenseman in the league was Shawn Glade Jr.

And winner of S69 Ryan Sullivan Trophy was none else than the beast of Saskatoon Wild, Danny DeYeeto!

Top Goaltender award "Benoit Devereux Trophy"

For many young and aspiring goaltenders this is the trophy that means there is a truly great path ahead of them. This season we saw brilliance from many young and extraordinary netminders. With so much laying on their shoulders, we always expect a goaltender to be the calmest guy in the Locker Room and in many cases it is. For these 2 gentlemen who received votes that is an everyday state of mind.

Runner up for Top Goaltender award was Isak Sjostrom.

And the winner of Benoit Devereux Trophy was Jacques Lafontaine of Saskatoon Wild

Congratulations @SlapshotDragon!

Next up - Top Two-Way Forward award "Matt Bentz Trophy"

Top Two-Way Forward award "Matt Bentz Trophy"

Best two-way forward award, something that many overlook and find not as important as winning an MVP or a scoring title and yet, this is the award a true team player and a person who plays the best game he can on the both ends of the ice. This is an award that embodies excellence that we once was in legendary Matt Bentz. Two outstanding nominees and even more interested results by award committee than what we saw in Playoff MVP vote. The winner only has one vote more than the runner-up.

Runner-up for this award was Minnesota's Chett Bandy

And the winner of Matt Bentz Trophy was the brilliant and outstanding Joakim Sakic of Ottawa Lynx!

Congratulations @Gscx420

And finally - Top Executive award!

Top Executive award "Jack Reilly Trophy"

An award that is given to a GM not only for his ability to give his team a chance to win a cup but also embodies the importance of leading your team off the ice. Being an executive is only about making moves and getting wins, it is about having players that want to play for you and fans that want to support you forever. In this case, we see two nominees this season who both are valued extremely highly by everyone in our community.

Runner-up for Top Executive award this season was Gustav Mattias.

And the winner of Jack Reilly Trophy for being named Top executive of S69 goes to current GM of Toronto Legion and the GM of previously crowned S69 Champions Saskatoon Wild. Award goes to @Peace! Congratulations!

And from us here on VSN this will be it, hope you enjoyed out award show this season and tune in next time for VHL Awards!

Let the discussions begin!
