enigmatic got a reaction from PotatoKing in Hiroshi Okada jealous of Benny Graves
Hiroshi Okada thought that he had reached god-tier status with his one point per game but after taking a moment to look at other players' statistics, he realized he might not be there yet.
The VHLM's 68th season is well underway and some players are starting to run away from the competition when it comes to points total. One such player is Benny Graves of the Las Vegas Aces, who totalizes 42 points in 21 games, which is, we'll admit it, pretty damn good.
"He prays so much mole than me, it's onry nolmar that he gets mole points", Okada explained, barely containing his rage at the thought of not being the best.
We'd like to mention that Graves plays 27.97 minutes per game to Okada's 27.86, so we doubt that's the actual reason why Benny Graves does so much better.
At this point, the entire Philly squad is just looking for solutions to hopefully qualify for the playoffs. They are currently third to last, which would exclude them from the series.

enigmatic got a reaction from DMaximus in Hiroshi Okada Ready To Get Started With Reapers
Hiroshi Okada didn't have the best season with the Ottawa Lynx but he still won a championship. After being drafted 25th overall by the Philadelphia Reapers, the Japanese forward is ready for new challenges and wishes to have a great season to improve his draft position for the future VHL draft among other things. It's always great to see a player have his priorities in the right place.
Only time will tell if Okada will score any goal since he failed to do so last season with the Ottawa Lynx. The Reapers have shown a lot of faith in him so far and he is set to start the season on their first line alongside Ben McGirr and Peach Panther. McGirr is a veteran but Panther is, like him, a rookie. Panther is also a great scorer so the dynamic between them should be fun to watch for Reapers fans. Last season, Okada suffered from being a rookie on a packed team. That gave him little chance to show what he could do. He stated he improved in all aspects of the game this offseason and is sure he will see results right away. Scoring a goal in his first match with his new team would certainly help lift some pressure off his shoulders.

enigmatic got a reaction from Matt_O in Okada, playoff MVP?
Hiroshi Okada is a Founders' Cup champion and yet, people only talk about the likes of Thorny Underyew, Anthony Amberback, Michael Rasmussen, Zeno Miniti and Anthony Hawk. Who cares if they had over a point per game during the playoffs? Isn't participating just as important? Can we just take a moment to marvel at Okada's stats during the playoffs?
1 assist: Great playmakers are often overlooked. Players like Okada with more assists than goals should be applauded.
+9: So much better than Hunter Wagner. That dude may have 15 points but can he even play defensively? I don't think so.
6 penalty minutes: Such discipline, much control, wow.
1 shot blocked: Players willing to sacrifice their body for the sake of their team are rare in professional hockey. Hiroshi Okada can really do it all.
0.09 points/20 minutes: That's perhaps the statistic that's the most impressive of them all. How do you manage to get over 14 minutes on the ice per game and only have one point in 15 games? I don't know. You need to be a hockey guru such as Hiroshi Okada to have the answer to that question.
