Game gets randomized to the same team 4-5 weeks in a row and we will have a huge problem. I also think you shouldn't be able to win twice in the same week, that's bullshit. I would say not being able to win twice in the same month is more what it should be.I have won the lotto twice since it's inception and started here in season 11 I think, so seeing one admin win twice in the same week is pretty disheartening 

It’s not a common occurance but I am in full agreeance here with Bush. I said this a week or so ago, there are already enough comments and threads to catch up on without having to see all the one liner comments flooding the activity feed on game days.

I never pick grass-type, I always go with either Fire or Water depending on second type or evolutions, but I think I'm 100% going with Grookey this time, even if he or his evolutions suck.

ive never been a fan of the grass starters but the final evolution will determine if i pick Grookey.
 
I sold my ds a few years back but i still have all the carts for the pokemon games that i play on my clear Gameboy advance. I abused the shit out of my Gameboy SP playing pokemon until my dog decided it was his next chew toy ?

I usually go water pokemon out of the gate, but I'm not feeling that Sobble so I'll prolly go Scorbunny
 
Actually bought a 2DS XL and 6 of the old Pokemon games last week (Yellow, Crystal, Platinum, Black, Alpha Sapphire, Y) cause I've only ever played Yellow and Gold before, so I'm gonna make my way through them all before Sword/Shield.

Okay, first off are you saying people recruit other people to purposely go inactive and sabotage GM's. Second off when you recruit a friend wouldn't they want to join you, it's like inviting a friend to your house to hangout with your sibling. It makes no sense why they would do that. And its perfectly fair that I've recruited people who I know will be active, and that they joined my team. Your making it sound like its cheating, when its not. It's just plain good strategy, no different from drafting actives over inactives.
 
Because simming is completley different from being active. Simming you can keep going till you win, which sucks the fun out of it. Recruiting just gives me active players, no different from getting active players off of waivers or the draft.

Much agreed. When I was in the WC one of the best parts was changing my lines because of say a bad powerplay, seeing how it reacted. Then having to decide wheter changing it or not would be beneficial. If I was able to test sim 100 times and know the result that would've sucked the fun out of it imo. If you want to go to a league where you can test sim the shit out of every single thing go to the NSHL
 
Which is what exactly happens when you don't have the sim file. React to what happens in the game, and then make changes accordingly, not to your bajillion test sims.
 
But that isn't against other teams. You can still guess how you'll match up by looking at the other team's players and strats, and then react accordingly. There's some hardwork you can do. Other team is super offensive? Change your strategies to be more defensive, etc.

So uhh...is the salary cap no longer a thing?

Now that the dust has settled after the Titans exciting playoffs, focus shifted to retaining some of the talent they have acquired over the past few seasons, specifically S63 players as their rookie deals are entering their final year. This started by locking down their star goalie Pepper to a contract that will last his whole career. Adding to the list of players with a career commitment to Helsinki is Sidney Crosby, who also agreed to a 5-year deal. That was one key cog to the defense but there was another man to tie down. Jesse Wilson was the man and the GM signed him to a 2-year extension. The only man left was none other than Julian Borwinn. Quik locked him down with a 4-year extension. With 8 players over 450 TPE the Helsinki Titans look to be a team to be reckoned with and with all these long-term deals being dealt, they won’t be going away anytime soon.

Orion Slade after that slow season last season is looking to up his game in a big way. Orion has said to have beefed up in the offseason in preparation for another founder’s cup run this season. Orion is said to have told his team that he is ready to dominate the league and make other teams weep. Even if that means that he has make his favorite team the Aces look like a bunch of fools.
 
Orion is looking to not take any prisoners this season because he knows that he has to dominate points wise to get himself for his cup hungry career that he has ahead of him. He will be looking to dominate stats, speed and all other ways that he can. The only hole to his game right now is that he does not play a dominant game. He does not care about playing without the puck. He leaves that up to the other players on the ice. He will stand at the blue line and wait for a pass so he can skate with it up the ice and hopefully score.
 
If you are one of the people that laughed at his piss poor numbers last season, just wait until this season. Last season he was buried on a talented team but this season he leads a crop of talented forwards and will be looked at to help out with at least 100 points but if you ask him, he tells us “130 or this season is a bust” We will just have to wait and see what he does.

We made it to the finals last season and we have a young group of guys, most signed for their careers, and we will be a threat for years to come
