Vikingstad has retired after a pretty "meh" career. He never did anything great other than that one good season (even then was overshadowed by lahtinen). He finished above point per game in his career and was pretty consistent throughout, putting up 30+ goals every season after his rookie one and breaking 50 goals in his top season as well. His most memorable moment was probably the cup-winning goal he had versus Moscow when he won his first cup in Seattle. The two cups he won are cool and all, and he made the finals a bunch, but he never won any player awards which is kinda sucky. He was better than my first player, Starload, which is a plus and hopefully my new guy, Nalwa, can continue the upwards momentum and be even better. I'd like to have a player that's good enough for the HOF one day, although it's seems to be getting harder and harder with so many players in the league nowadays. Maybe one day though!
