Those are all words that can describe recently retired "3rd round steal" Luke Riggs who has never played a single game in the VHL. His career was spent 100% of the time in the minors. In his first season, Luke Riggs even got to play a few shifts in the VHLM due to being on a bad team like the Oslo Storm, but the next 2 seasons, he was on a very good Yukon Rush team where he was lucky to even step out on the ice during the warm up skate. That Yukon Rush team won 2 championships in a row, where Riggs had retired. Of course, his jersey will never be hung up to the rafters, or his name ever engraved on the cup under the 'Y' of Yukon, but to future scrubs, Luke Riggs will be an absolute legendary scrub, who retired on a high note, capturing the scrub dream, the VHLM Championship.

OTTAWA LYNX TO RETIRE MCQUEEN'S #95
 

 

 
 
OTTAWA, ONTARIO - Four seasons after his last game in the VHLM, the number 95 of Brennan McQueen is set to join the likes of Lars Intranquilo’s #77 and Mitch Higgins’s #60 in the rafters of The Ice Kennel. McQueen was drafted with the 16th overall pick in the S34 VHLM Dispersal Draft. As the only active member of the team for the entire season, McQueen posted a respectable 83 points and 188 hits during the regular season to go along with his 6 points and 14 hits in 4 playoff games. In Season 35, Brennan was voted captain by his peers and helped lead the Lynx to their first Founder’s Cup victory since Season 23 with his excellent two-way play. While his 84 points were only a minimal increase from the previous season, McQueen’s 410 hits are one of the highest in modern VHLM history. After his time in Ottawa, McQueen would move on to the Riga Reign of the VHL, where he was once again voted captain. It is for his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Ottawa Lynx organization that I’d like to officially retire McQueen’s number 95.

vhl have too much jealous of my ability as skater because i am too skill and score have one thousand point in danish league. They are so scare that they force me to become a goaltender so I cannot no score one thousand point ever again. The league also found my secret passport and now found out my rel name have be Gunnar Skovsgard. So I am now goalie but that have be okay with me because I will be best goalie in league one day and win all award. I am have Aidan Shaw and Daisuke Kanou trophy lined up on shelf in future yes I will be best. I am have been told goaltending is very tough and give you headache but I prove being a goaltender is easy. I am already start training to be top goaltender in vhlm and think I will be draft very high. I want to have play in vhl right after I am draft so I work hard very much to reach goal.
