I have finally gotten drafted in both of the major professional leagues. In the top tier, VHL, I was drafted by a fairly prestigious team in the Prague Phantoms. The Phantom players have reached out already and have been a huge in advising us on what we need to work on. What we need to be doing on a daily basis as well. The goalie, Clueless Wallob, has actually been extremely helpful and infact, completely the opposite to his name. He’s been nothing but professional and insightful! Ultimately, Prague has been an insanely positive and I actually think my play will benefit in major ways just joining Prague. The other beautiful team that has drafted me is the Oslo Storm in the VHLE. Oslo has invited us to a player camp off the bat and has been huge developmentally. I’m pretty sure that my play is going to jump off the wall imediately. I’ve since worked on things like reaction time and puck control off saves. This gives me more and more control on where to put the puck if I can’t smother it in my glove or body. Honestly, Oslo and I are gunna have a huge season if I get to play there.

I don't see how AJ broke any COC rules... What did you expect the moderation team to do? There is no moderator umbrella of investigation for this situation past Dack. So I'm not 100% sure your example is applicable. The moderation team's goal in this situation to is investigate Dack and any other alts they may have. Not to punish GMs like AJ when that punishment would fall on you, the commissioner. So, where in that is it counter-intuitive?

Jerry Collins: Hello everyone! This is Jerry Collins from Sportsnet 1. Here we have a well-esteemed goaltender in Olivier Gauthier. We'll be interviewing him today after getting drafted by the Prague Phantoms. How are you, Olivier? Olivier: I'm well and you? Jerry: I'm well, thank you for asking and for doing this! Olivier, your stats this past season don't stand out as impressive. What do you think went wrong and how do you plan to improve? Olivier: Well, haha, I can't say that things went wrong per say. I faced some tough teams and there were certainly games where I should have played better. I'm not going to dwell on this past season though, as I'm not the type to do that. Me, my coaching staff and upper management in Prague have identified where I need to improve and I'm taking steps to work on those problem areas. I'm confident in myself that I'll be able to bounce back stronger. Jerry: Many people are questioning whether you should've been drafted so high. How do you respond to that? Olivier: I'm more than ready for the VHL. I've been working for this my entire life and I'm confident that I have what it takes to play at the highest level. I'm not going to let a few disappointing stats from last season hold me back. I'm going to prove the doubters wrong and show everyone that I'm a force to be reckoned with. Just watch next season everyone, I plan to prove you all wrong. Jerry: I am extremely excited to see that. What do you think sets you apart from other goalies in this league? Olivier: I think my combination of athleticism, determination, and reading of the game sets me apart. I'm confident in my abilities and I'm not afraid of taking a risk, ever. I'm always striving to be the best. I'll never give up on a play no matter how much it's going against me. Thats what makes me a great goalie. Thats whats going to make me successful in the VHL. Not every goalie has that attitude. For me, it's just instinctual.

1. I could've been better tbh 2. Probably MEX. I don't care tbh or know. Time to focus on SD. 3. Become good enough to play in the VHL. 4. I think I am. I don't care about it honestly. 5. Everything. Time to go beast mode. 6. By the crust you filthy animal

Last season was a tough season in the VHLM for me. I had high hopes for the season and was extremely disappointed when things didn't go to plan. I finished the season with a 0.89 SV% with a 2.71 GAA alongside only 3 shutouts. This is not good enough and is far from what I hoped I could achieve in the VHLM in my first full season. What makes it disappointing as well was that I was playing inside my own head. I wasn't focused at all and I know I didn't have all my focus. I thought I could coast by on what I was doing. This was wrong. Despite all of this, I'm grateful for the opportunity that the Marlins have given me, and have gained some valuable experience. I know there's lots of work to do if I want to become the best in the VHL. I'm willing to put in the extra time and effort to make that happen as well. I'll be in Kelowna this off-season which is the mecca of off-season training. All the best hockey training happens here. I've been invited to a few camps which primarily focus on goalies... I'm super excited to see what I can take and add to my game. I hear Patrick Roy is going to be there too which is... Let's just say he's my idol. Some great news though, I've been drafted by the Prague Phantoms. It seems like I'll be playing next season with San Diego again which is nice considering it's a very familiar place. This is a huge opportunity for me to prove to myself and to the Phantoms that I have what it takes to become the starting goalie at the highest level. I've been speaking with the Prague management and we've worked on how I need to improve my game and work on my weaknesses in order to succeed. I'm excited by this challenge and I'm determined to make the most of this opportunity and to prove to this league what I'm capable of being. Let's just say, Clueless Wallob. I'm coming for your spot. You enjoy the next season or two being the starter in Prague but just remember that I'm coming, like a goddamn freight train and I will take your spot. Looking back on the season, I realize there were some things I should have done differently. I need to work on staying calm and composed under pressure, work on my reflexes, and on my positioning. These are all areas I will be working on during my off-season in Kelowna. This is how I think make sure that I'm ready to come back stronger next year. Overall, while I'm disappointed in my past season, it also brings up a valuable learning experience. I'm excited for next season and the season beyond in order to prove myself in the major leagues. I know I have a lot of work to get to but I'm up for the challenge and prepared to take my game to the next level.

The problem with your reply is that you’re not separating the moderating job and fongs ability to be a user in the vhl space. The moderators can and have done their job. However now, Fong is allowed to take off his moderator hat, be himself and be a pissed off member. I see nothing wrong with him taking stand that this pissed him off personally. In fact this is healthier. The moderation team shouldn’t have to wear the hat 24/7. Remember that it’s a job, in the league… A simulation league. If he took this anger and applied it to AJ’s punishment, imo it would be worse.

Not sure I agree. Fong had a fair question to ask in public and he did. Did it come across strong? Yes however he's entitled to ask that question anyways. AJ, you made a mistake and honestly that's huge of you to admit to your mistake. As far as I'm concerned, this is a fair punishment and I hope all is forgiven in here. Now kill it in Houston!

However, I've had some personal things happen recently so I'll be back to full force soon. 4. Probably Olivier Gauthier cause uh...... Ya. I need it. 5. I love to have spaghetti and meatballs the day before. For carbs. 6. Ummmm no. I've been at a funeral actually lol. Not close close family but pretty close in terms of relations but I don't speak to them often.

Ollie Gauthier gunna be sick af -
Hello everyone! It's me, Olivier Gauthier, the goaltender for the San Diego Marlins. I wanted to take a moment to talk about our team and how friggin hot we've been to start the season. We've been 6-0 and this defence has been rock solid infront of me. Now I know what most of you are going to say... "Olivier, it's early in the season..." or "Theres a long way to go". Yeah, I know. However, I genuinely believe that this strong start is going to be key for a positive season. I've noticed that it's given the team some confidence and a lot of the players have a skip in their step. My teammates also have an extra edge in practice as well. It feels like everyone is taking this season seriously. Now as you know, me being a goalie means I have one of the more important jobs on the ice... Keep the puck outta the net boy... And thats what I do thanks to my teammates as well. I've been working extra hard to stay sharp and be prepared in every single game. So far, it's paid off and I'm happy about that. However, we know it's a long season and the hard work has to continue paying off. It's been a pleasure playing in this team though as they have helped me get the strongest GAA and save percentage in the league. As I mentioned previously, the whole team has been playing their hearts out. Some of the players on this team are so talented, I can't wait to see them get to the VHL and become a class apart. The main reason I say that is that we have some strong leaders in this room and everyone has had a part in supporting each other. I've never been on a team with this much chemistry. It helps that off the ice, we've been getting to know each other as well and with the coaching staff. I even learned that we're supposed to pray to some dude named Simon? Who the hell is Simon? Anyways that slightly sidetracked me... Well massively sidetracked me... The Marlins organization has been nothing but first class at honing this group together. Theres a long season to go and a lot of practice and hard work still needing to be done. However, I think if we can continue working the way we've been working and playing the way we've played... We can accomplish some scary stuff. It's going to be a fun season and I can't wait to see the outcome. In the end, I'm just happy that San Diego gave me a shot. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and I hope you'll cheer us on. Lets keep this going and keep the streak on everyone! We really need the fans to step up and show the opposing team that it will be hard to play us at home and only you can do that for us. Lets go Marlins!

Preseason is one of the most challenging times for a professional hockey player like myself. As a new San Diego Marlin, it's been.... Interesting to say the least. California weather is extremely different compared to what I am used to back in Quebec and just the adjustment to that type of heat has been new for me. The team has done a fantastic job keeping us hydrated and healthy through this weather. Regardless of this weather, it's definitely different to be practicing in beautiful weather like this. Being a goalie is different compared to the rest of the players. It's extremely important for me to build a strong relationship with the skaters just so I can understand what makes their minds tick and what their habits are like. This team has a lot of talented players on it and I am excited to have been drafted into such a fantastic environment. Preseason generally consists of some team building which could also include some hazing. The team got me a few times during training. I think once I had sat on a chair filled with whipped cream and a whoopy cushion. Ironically, some of these pranks have really brought us together as a group. Preseason has been a challenge however extremely valuable for me. I'm looking forward for this coming season, including the opportunity to play with my new teammates. I am confident that all the hard work we put in this offseason will pay off come the season and I am excited to see what we can accomplish as a group together.

The draft was quite the experience. Honestly, I expected myself to go last in the draft considering I don't think anyone actually knew who I was. I haven't played a single minute in the VHLM this past season. Nobody knows if I've progressed at all or not. Nobody knows anything about me. Who is this dude? Is he even a goalie? Who knows really. I mean, I even had to get reminded if I was a player in Ottawa or the equipment manager. If I was the equipment manager, lets be honest.... I would've been an all star at it. Thats how much I was on the bench there. That isn't a bad thing though. Ottawa had their set goalie, had the 2nd best team in the VHLM. Ottawa didn't need me. I was a passenger on this team. It's not a knock that I wasn't good enough to start. It was a compliment that I was even on this roster. I know this. Ottawa was a fantastic team to be apart of. I really enjoy the VHLM and I hope I get to showcase my style and class this season for VHLE and VHL teams to scout me and understand me more. I will be impressive. Mark my words.
