  1. Wild how many trades dont think ive seen a busy off season. Lots of members worthy of being GM these days. Nothing wrong with some turn over Likely yes, goalies are really being squeezed already. Feel bad for newer members trying. Victory cup and championship or bust. Who cares about points. Not a big tv person so no.
  2. Calgary made more trades than Seattle did Riga is up close too
  3. Very well put together media even if the person who made it still disappoints me abit solid pics and structuring 9/10
  4. Nice talk about all the VHL teams and what they could be trying to do this offseason. Clean and good colors to highlight the different teams 8/10
  5. It went as well as it could for a back up. We won the victory cup. But a pitiful performance in the playoffs. Same stuff i have all season. Getting better for a starting role. Vacation i spend my life in calgary go elsewhere for downtime. DC sadly they lost in the finals though. More wins less overtime losses.
  6. Solid wrap up of your personal year, a mix of real life and VHL. Heres hoping 2021 is less wild for the world as a whole. Well written article 7/10
  7. Thank god Seattle finally lost its touch. That Bana looked like hed never, slow down. New teams need to take over for the Riga, and Seattles of the VHL world. Overall a very good indepth look at a very good team history. 8/10
  8. Some reports have suggested Askarov may not be a Wrangler much longer. Well the playoffs continue, speculation is that Askarov may be on the move. After a 8-0-2 record Askarov wants more ice. He even was started in a game, that no longer counted as it was ruled by the league for cheating. Askarov before the game was rendered moot. Had 63 saves on 67 shots in a 4-3 loss in overtime. He was a beast, and his continued development means he does not want to just sit an be a back up for much longer. With next season drawing closer it will be curious to watch this season unfold. Last 2 weeks have been solid heavy training for Askarov who is aiming to just keep rising the ranks and be the best goalie he can be. He aims to be the best player he possibly can be heading into next season. Currently Askarov is on pace to be one of if not the best earner for his agency history. Which explains why he is not just happy sitting by an waiting. He wants to be a star, and hopefully win a cup or 2. Time will tell just how things unwind in season 76. Will he remain a Wrangler, or is he fated for somewhere else.
  9. Being a GM, a commish, and admin, a simmer. Really outside of being a generic member is a thankless job. I myself have not always agreed with every choice made. I'm far from perfect myself though i can admit it and also realize that not every choice made will please everyone. In light of a human error we saw crying on a level, that i admit got my blood boiling. The blue team, and our simmers do this for 0 pay, giving up real world hours they could be doing other things. Instead they give up free time to make this league a fun experience for us. Attacking them for things like a human error, and a sim engine they did not design is just downright sad. I admit i may have cross a line against those who complained and for that i apologize, but i don't handle that type of disrespect well. However enough talking about the inspiration for this article and let's get to thanking them. For all the hours, the thankless tough choices you guys have made. For building an environment trying to be inclusive for everyone from every walk of life. Its far from perfect, there are fights, often for silly reasons. We have internet trolls, who make your lives hard. However, since joining over 6 years ago now it has been almost like a home. Many members have given years here. All the years here would not be possible, if not for our disipline team who has kicked out the worst of the worst. For our recruitment team, who helped this league come back from the brink. For the blue team, who ensure the forum is paid for, the site is running as smooth as possible, and making sure the league has a plan. Thank you to the GMs, who have to work a tough act sometimes balancing team needs, and members egos. Thank you to our updaters, who have to go through hundreds of updates at a time. Thank you to our simmers, who spend hours uploading lines, making sure the results are posted and done in a timely manor. Thank you to the members who make this place an enjoyable time. All of you are the reason many of us come back, every single day. Some of us for many years. As this league has been around what feels like forever in my life now. I'm not shy to admit it, despite my life being much busier as i am older, its everyone who puts in hard work as to why i still come back. Its why many of is keep coming back and i want you all to know that. Keep up all your hard work, and i am looking forward to another exciting year. Lets continue to make the VHL a fun place for every hockey lover, no matter their walk if life. Congratulations to those continuing in their quest for VHL glory. Sorry for the eye sore of a read full of I'm sure lots of grammar errors. Claiming for my doubles week from holiday celebration.
  10. You litterly made an article attacking people, you whined as if the entire series was over AFTER 2 GAMES. You act like the league went out of its way to bend you over. Yet im the one looking for a fight? You litterly are attacking not 1 but 2 leagues. Of people who earn 0 real world dollars, well putting in real world time to make a fun league. In my opinion if i was a blue id perma ban you. As your clearly very toxic. Crying about a fake league with results that dont effect anyones life. Made by people here for pure enjoyment
  11. If you dont like it, go make a league yourself. Build your own sim engine that allows you to sim, well correcting errors for any game if they occur. Then come back to us almighty god, and your perfect non error ways we bow before you. We are not worthy if such a perfect human
  12. Yes he has been in this thread so far.
  13. Man i wish i was as perfect as Tape to tape, and Iammoose. Cuz those guys have lived their entire lives never making a human error. Its really impressive honestly. Congrats to those teams moving on, and those who lost not being salty about things like human error. Best of luck to those continuing their runs.
  14. Why are you crying? 2 games were resimed. Sure the results were not perfect. But just because you finished 2-0 and then resim and got 0-2 does not mean the league is cheating you, or that Vancouver would have won the series by now. Cuz look at games 3 and 4 in your series DC coulda done the same that you did to them. Or in the case of what Calgary did to Chicago down 3-1. No series is OVER till they win 4 games. Now calm down child @Beavisscan you wrangle your children in please.
  15. Says the team whose had double the PP the whole series(resim included)
  16. We clearly can see here its Askarov time #ialmoststoleagame in the last sim
  17. Uh what? Lol Kachur is a person already is he not
  18. Will be all sim wont allow for just one game its whole days or none
  19. I think the league needs a resim i doubt both back ups were gunna start. For Moscow and Calgary Mind u i stopped 63 of 67 shots on goal like wtf
  20. Askarov finished his first VHL season with a record if 8-0-2 picking up 10 of 12 points for the Wranglers. Impressive start going the entire season without a regulation loss. He continues to work his ass off, and hopefully wind up as a starter sooner than later. It is a tough adjustment going from being the man to just a back up. However, his play helped Calgary capture the victory cup. Infact it was Askarovs last win that sealed the 1st place spot for Calgary. He will play second fiddle the rest of the season as Calgary will ride Lafontaine in the playoffs till they either win it all or are eliminated. So now his total focus is being set on next season. His last on his rookie deal, which begs alot of questions about his future as he has stated he wont stay a back up for very long. He has been working his butt off and does not want to just waste his career away. Time will tell if his starting role is in Calgary or somewhere else.
  21. Very fun idea, i think as a goalie i had the best win percentage but overall a very fun idea. Well put together and enjoyable read that takes a decent amount of work 10/10
  22. 9/10 clearly a good video editor. Though to be honest i wouldnt really know if i saw a bad video unless it was just so bad its impossible to not notice. However the video idea is fun an fresh and good work put in.
  23. We score goals lol jk umm Tallinder or Jubis i suppose Heavy rock type, something that fits the Dragons name Whoever we can beat easiest, so whoever wins this series let them be the worse of the 2. We are gunna need a head turner from one of our offensive players. Or a playoff mvp performance from our goalie. Not losing in regulation yet, in my career Frosty the original
  24. Askarov clinches the presidents trophy for Calgary and finishes the season undefeated in regulation at 8-0-2
  25. Claim 6 and my double week
