With the season going smoothly for the DC Dragons, we decided to catch up with one of their new players. Well, in reality, they are all new players since they are an expansion team. I meant let us check up on one of the new rookies of the team, Luciano Valentino. Uhmmm I mean Kaspars Claude. Whoever made ther script for this news piece deserves to be fired cause they were either sleeping or drunk when they made it
 
"Well, that was one way to bring us into the frame here eh FOX Sports. Wow, for a company that seems to have everything under controlled, you look as lost as the Dragons out there in the Offices" Kaspars jokes. "Honestly, it has been a long season, but it was expected. We are building chemistry and we are making sure we keep our heads up out there. The games are very close, so many of them do not even finish in 60 minutes. It shows we are improving and that we are going to have the talent to compete in a couple years."
 
"Let us be realistic here, D.C. was not going to compete in their first season. Maybe not even the second. But, if we keep on putting time on the practice, and we keep improving as players, we will continue to grow and improve as a squad. I see us being a dangerous squad in a couple seasons. Remember that"
 
Kaspars walks off casually, into his honda civic. He is gearing up for the winter with his winter beater, I think he stored his lambo or whatever else he drives

*20 minutes later, we saw Kaspars pulled over on the side of the road, his Civic was on fire*

Havent really followed other teams other than the Dragons but Ill just go and say Moscow

The Mississauga one is so creative, I like everything about it. The colors especially

My home city right now is DC

How is winning a bad thing? Enough said

It is what it is. Both teams are built in different ways, they just seem to have our number.
 
3. Your GM recently made a minor move to bring in goaltender Pouta and defenseman Drumm from Vancouver, who won this deal and why?
The players did, they joining the Dragons which is amazing.
 
4. If you had to relocate one team from the EU conference to the NA conference and vice versa, who would you move and where would you move them?
I wouldnt want to move anything. It works fine right now. If it aint broke, am i right?

Im doing alright, I would have hoped for better stats but its all part of the process.

I think I would be apart of the top 24 forwards in the Minor system last year. I was starting center on the finalst team, that should account for something. Did they think I did not want to get hurt during the game or something?

What is funny is that according to rumours, both General Managers of the prospects game were interested in gaining Kaspars Claude to their pro team. I guess they were sour about him joining the Dragons but whatever, it is in the past now.

1. We've started a little rough for the season, were you expecting any better from the squad?
Honestly, it was expected. I was also made aware for the season so it is alright. Gonna worry about improving my game for nxt season.
 
2. If you were GM of the Dragons for a day, what is the first thing you would do?
Invite the team over to my mansion, have unlimited alcohol hookers and maybe some other things
 
3. Which is more important to you; team success or personal success, and why?
With the situation of the team, it would have to be Personal Success. Were losing every game, might as well get on the scoresheet
 
4. If you could re-design any logo in the VHL or VHLM, which would you pick and what would you change it to?
I know Davos has a lot of history but I think I would change that logo. Been the same one for a while now, I think I would modernize it. Maybe change the colors from black and purple to Red and white since they are in switzerland.
 
5. Who is winning the Stanley Cup this year?
Well, you know I am gonna say the Bruins
 
6. Is there any NHL or VHL player that you're modeling your play after?
Patrice Bergeron or David Krejci. Love watching them play and I pick up a lot from both of them

1. The draft was last night, which is what brought most of you to the Dragons organization. Did you go earlier or later than you expected? If you weren't drafted, how did you make it here?
A lot earlier than expected. I didnt even have a hunch of what teams were looking at me. I was saying to myself maybe my history is the reason I would drop later on or even go undrafted.
 
2. What team had the best draft?
DC Dragons. I do not even follow enough to know to tell you. They got me and they got another italian, thats awesome
 
3. Who will be the biggest steal of the draft?
Gonna say myself once again.
 
4. Who is your early prediction to go 1st overall at the S69 draft?
I wish I could even tell you 1 guys name from that draft class
 
5. Do you think the S69 draft is going to be better or worse overall than the S68 draft?
Apperently the S68 draft was actually a deep one. But considering the reddit people are coming over, a lot more players to choose from going into S69
 
6. Who out of your fellow Dragons draftees do you think is most likely to be a future captain?
All of us are great leaders. But Valentino would be the top on my list.

Cool team sig forsure, I like the idea of the team rocking it during the playoffs as an idea, as a team identity aswell. The colors work really well together, the logo in the background is also a very niuce touch. Its a cohesive piece forsure
