Canadian, which is actually kinda a pain for prop guns. Busted airsoft guns (1:1 replicas) are the best thing to buy for props because you can get them for under $20 (they don’t fire after all) and they look completely real. Issue is that you can’t get them in Canada 95% of the time because of Canadian regulations on the look of fake weaponry.

The players who are dominating will retire and make room for those same new players to dominate, it's how the cycle works. Making careers longer will mean the players dominating now may retire later meaning they'll simply dominate for longer.

This I had the most TPE by a solid margin in my draft class and still went 5th overall; with a first-gen ahead of me. Re-creates don’t make anything impossible for first-gens. Besides, there is no guarantee at all that people will always go the full 8 and re-create together. If that were the case Higgins would be in the next draft with Green.

How many people do you know of that want 20% depreciation? That's the only way it could stay remotely fair and it would make having a player that old be completely terrible. I think high depreciation and a removal of carry-over would be the only way this could work. You want a long career, fine, but you'll suffer your last two seasons and end up with nothing for your next player. No thanks if you ask me. I still don't like that BTW, I still think it would hurt the records more than it's worth, but that's the only way it could work.

I don't think anyone is denying that he wouldn't have been so dominant, that's not he point. Just as Gretzky's records still count for something, so should Scotty's. A rule change like this would not improve anything in the VHL, it would simply make our record books mean nothing because any pre-S40 player would have been working with 2 fewer seasons.
