I understand that but sometimes it's best to hold off and wait to see exactly what we're working with. Plus, in this case, we only have a fraction of the members anyway so there wouldn't be much to do locker room wise. When we have all our main topics and stuff back, then we can consider extra stuff like locker rooms.

I wouldn't expect it as high priority, especially with so many members still missing; it's not really worth doing right now.

From what I've found it used to be doable but they removed the ability in recent updates. I'll look into some hacks for it later because they are pretty small.

That could work. Smarch, do you have any suggestions for getting the download to work? I think for most of us it gets to like 1.5GB and then stops downloading and extracts to like a 2.5GB file.

Yeah, that's not bad. I would just like to know that we CAN get all of our important posts back before we pay anything. $5 isn't much but it would be annoying to pay just to find out that none of the posts exist anyway.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Mobile wise it's way better and in general it seems much more user friendly. Just annoying that we couldn't get everything set before moving like we did with our first forum switch. As a note, will we be able to re-direct our domain here or is it shutdown as well because of the attack?

Chances are if anything is there, like I said, it's probably encrypted. Is there a way to get SMF for free or would we have to pay for it if we needed to build a temp site?

Actual posts could be highly encrypted though. 6GB seems way too large to be behind the scenes info and smilies. Might be best to check with smf support about whether or not the backup file will give us access to what we need.

In theory if we open up a temporary SMF forum and import the backup there (since it's designed for SMF it should work there) we should be able to access what we need. I just hope it actually contains actual posts and not just forum system info.

You had messed up a bracket so it became a broken link instead of an images. I edited it to a normal img tag. 1. Good 2. That makes absolutely no sense. I've had photoshop as far back as CS2 and ALL of them allow you to save it as any image type you want. Even cheap, shitty Elements should allow things other than gif which is by far one of the worst for quality.

Fix the link for you. Although two things: 1) I think we should worry about getting things setup before worrying about CnC on sigs. 2) Why the fuck would you EVER save a non-animated sig as a gif?

Click on the drop down next to your name in the top right corner and select "My Settings". Look to the left in the page that appears and a tab should say "Signature." From there it's no different than any other forum.

That's likely a good idea. If I recall the chat we were using can definitely work on this site. Other (better) options likely do as well but we already paid for ours so we should use it when everything is set to work.

Sorry, only just got on haha. I wouldn't worry about it too much, we're bound to need more images for something else anyway. If there are any other settings you, or anyone else, needs changed let me know here or via PM and I'll get them. I'm at work transcoding anyway so I have time.

I just increased the limit from 10 to 100. That should be more than enough I would imagine.
