    1. Now that the regular season's over, which of our team's players did the best, in your eyes?

    2. Which of our prospects are you most excited about?

    3. If you are what you eat, what are you?

    4. What's your favorite movie soundtrack and why?

    4. On a scale of 1-10, how addicted are you to sim leagues? (I'm an 11 at least)

    6. Now that it's happened, how'd ya enjoy the holidays?

  2. Sadge

I never played for your team and never discussed anything league-related with you but you hold a special place in my heart because of ToS. It's probably responsible for 70% of my posts and reactions (there was that one game that at the time made up 40% of my posts lol), and my big takeaway is that I'm a mostly inept leader. Hopefully this means more ToS for us people and maybe one day you'll GM and I'll play for your team :)

For those of you in other places in the world, what do you watch?

So I live in Central and on CNN, after Anderson Cooper and the other person go to bed, CNN cuts to New Orleans, and there's a guy named Don Lemon who hosts it. This year, he and 2 randos were acting completely drunk in addition to him (first thing we hear when we turn it on: "I'm a grown-ass man...), who was not only drunk but also drinking gin and tonic. There were 2 guys with disco ball heads behind them and the hosts kept throwing Mardi Gras jewels all over the place.

We then got to see an interview of the Village People, 1 of whom knows how to sing YMCA, and after some more Drunk Don & co before flashing to a performance by Earth Wind & Fire that ended 20 seconds away from 2022. The hosts were counting down from 15 when there was 5 seconds to new year's, and than Don Lemon came out of a cardboard lemon cake to celebrate New Year's.

    6th rate at best

  4. Well, at long last the season is over and Wolves right winger and captain Henry Tucker has upped himself once again. Tucker scored 60 goals (T-5th) and 75 assists for 135 points (4th). He was 1 of only 2 VHLers to go 60/75 this season (joined by Chris Reynolds), all on just 520 shots for a blistering 11.54%, 2nd in the league behind a guy with 35 goals. His PIM and hits (aww less hits. I am sadge) went down to 165 (6th) and 343 (4th), but his +/- of +71 was second. He was also 5th in Game Winners (9) and T-3rd in hat tricks (4). Best of all though, he was 3-1-1 in his fights. As I promised last week, we're going to get an update on Henry's standing in the Vanny record books.

Please note that I have 2 seasons left before I hafta retire

    Games: Moves from 12th (340) to T-10th (360), 144 behind leader

    Goals: Moves from 7th (148) to 5th (158), 66 behind leader

    Assists: Moves from 13th (192) to 10th (208), 148 behind leader

    Points: Moves from 9th (340) to 8th (366), 177 behind leader

    Plus/Minus: Moves from outside top 20 to 20th (59), 102 behind leader

    PIM: Moves from 3rd (659) to 2nd (700), 3 behind leader

Hits: Stays at 2nd (1217), 40 behind leader

Shots: Stays at 4th (1786), 539 behind leader

Game Winners: Stays at 9th (22), 18 behind leader

So almost every one is achievable except for +/- since the leader is a Reinhart. To put this in perspective, I'll show the amount of things per season needed to tie the record.

    GM: 72

    GL: 33

    AS: 74

PTS: 88.5 (doesn't line up but whatevs)

    PIM: 1.5

    HIT: 20

    SHT: 269.5

    GWG: 9

So none are that far outta reach. Maybe I get my jersey retired? Who knows.

  5. 1. With 6 games to go, Tucker has 125 points and Dear has 124. Which player will lead the team in scoring?

    2. What's your favorite candy to eat?

    3. What was your favorite thing you got this Christmas?

    4. If we win all of our last 6 games, we can tie last season's points total of 118. Can we do it?

    5. What position do you want your recreate to play, if you decide to recreate?

    6. Which team besides Vanny do you want to win the Cup?

    @MexicanCow123 @Renomitsu @Sixersfan594 @osens @Zetterberg @Nykonax @Squidward0 @thadthrasher @enigmatic @DarkSpyro @Lefty_S @bRaidsz @ViprVipe

  6. Every year throughout his career, Henry Tucker had made strides in the right direction. After scoring scoring just 1 point in a short rookie season in the VHLM, he scored 43 times more points the next year, and improved his points scoring by 30, to 73 points, in his final season in the M. The next year, he was in the majors, another big improvement, where he scored just 8 points (and 1 in the playoffs), and then upped those totals to 42, 75, and 106 (24 playoff points), the latter season being the one where he won playoffs MVP.

After entering regression for the first time, Tucker was sure that he would start to lose his edge and slowly decline, as did most of the media. But he was wrong. He quickly got his attributed up to pre-depreciation levels and has continued rocking out. Now the Wolves' captain, Tucker continues to best himself. Through 59 games on 1st place Vancouver, Tucker has 50 goals and 59 assists for 109 points (the first time he's ever been in the 50/50 club, and is one of only 7 players to be doing that so far). He's got a +54 plus minus, 291 hits, 28 shots blocked, 9 game winners, 124 PIM, and 427 shots. He's 5th in points and hits, 7th in goals, and 3rd in plus/minus and game-winners. He's got a surprisingly okay shot at 2-way forward of the year, and is within 5 points of surpassing Aloe Dear as the team's leading scorer.

Tucker's also started looking at the franchise records and has found that he's slowly climbing the ladder. As of this writing, he's 12th in games (340), 7th in goals (148), 13th in assists (192), 9th in points (340), 3rd in PIM (659), 2nd in hits (1165), 4th in shots (1687), and 9th in game winners (22). If the records hold and he stays with the team, he can tie for games played, probably take over the goals record, maybe get the assists and game winning goals marks (that's a long shot), potentially become the leader in points and shots, and easily become the leader in PIM and hits. More updated to come in the following weeks!
