    1. Well, disappointed that we're out but I'm glad that we kept them close
    2. Mexico was a strong team and I thought we played solid. No regrets
    3. Really any second round series is gonna be good. Lots of good teams
    4. I don't love tea. Hot chocolate is my jam
    5. Shevkov and Lund were great, they really buckled down for us to get to the playoffs. Maronen is the backbone of our team, no doubt.
    6. Unfortunately, it looks like Vegas is in for a bit of a down season. Good luck to y'all, it'll be fun playing with and against you in the big leagues!

The Aces just got eliminated, effectively ending Lenny Sanderson's playing time in the VHLM. He had a pretty good run, one that lasted for almost two seasons. And along the way, during Sanderson's development, there were a bunch of fantastic people that I'm going to shout out here.

Let's begin with Saskatoon, where Sanderson started his career. @Doomsday was an amazing GM, and @a_Ferk was a great AGM. Both guys played huge roles in getting me on the rails in this league, and I'll forever be thankful. The Wild were a decent team that season, and Sanderson started pretty low on the depth chart, at sub 100 TPE. In the playoffs, Sanderson broke out with 10 points in 7 games, but the Wild eventually lost in game seven to the Las Vegas Aces, Sanderson's next stop in the VHLM.

The Aces drafted me 8th overall in the dispersal draft. It was a crazy one, with Houston grabbing a good portion of the whole first round. I thought I was going to the Bulls for sure, if they kept up all the trades. But @Spartan , @JigglyGumballs, and the Aces held on to one of their firsts to grab me. Las Vegas is one of the more historic and known VHLM organizations, and it was an honour to join them. We were slow out of the gates, but we turned it on about midway through the season and stole a playoff spot. Unfortunately, we ran into the Mexico City Kings, one of the hottest teams coming into the playoffs, and we got swept in what was a series that was full of overtimes and tight games. It wasn't the best way to go out, but making the playoffs was nice for sure.

That pretty much sums up my VHLM career. Thanks again to all my managers, it was a real fun experience.

Gally reacted to Juice in Kristof Welch's Valentine Confession
It's that time of year where love and romance is in the air, and Kristof Welch is no different. Some could say he's a diehard romantic, but in simpler terms Welch would rather call himself someone who just wants to give his entire heart to that special someone who strikes him right in his heart.

Usually, for Valentine's Day, Kristof likes to start off the day with making his special someone breakfast in bed with a warm cup of coffee, and following it up by spending the afternoon baking some delicious snickerdoodle cookies. After that, the options are endless. Museums? He's a connoisseur of the arts. Long walk on the beach? Cliche, but everyone loves it deep down. Sit down and watch Netflix all day? Well, it is still COVID times, so he's down for a chill day.

However, at the end of the day, it's undebatable that he will cook you a fresh steak dinner on a candle lit dinner and some red wine. There's nothing quite as romantic at the end of the day than a giant slab of meat and some classy alcohol to chat the night away to.

You might be wondering why this is titled a confession?

That is because I want to do everything above with that special someone that hit me recently with their cupid's arrow.

@BOOM, how does this sound and better yet, will you be my Valentine? 😍

Gally got a reaction from Prof. Zach Enron in So long, Sasky
After being knocked out in seven games by the Las Vegas Aces, Lenny Sanderson's season is over. But what a season and what a series. The Wild almost pulled off a massive comeback, going from a 3-1 deficit to forcing game seven, where the Aces ultimately beat us in overtime. And the season was great, too. The Wild captured third place in the western conference, and we had a pretty successful season overall.

Sanderson is a top prospect in the VHL dispersal draft, a draft in which Sasky doesn't have a pick until the fifth round. Alas, this means that Sanderson probably won't be coming back. So I'm here to express my gratitude to the Wild organization. @Doomsday, you've been great. You showed me the ropes of the league, and I wouldn't be where I am without you. @a_Ferk, how could I forget you. Going out of your way to give us the presser link, sending me a welcome dm, it's all appreciated man. Thank you guys for helping me on my journey here. Lenny Sanderson Pre-Draft Interview

Roughly an hour ago, VHL reporter Dalton Vergas conducted what was to be the final interview of Lenny Sanderson before he was drafted into the VHL.

Dalton Vergas: Well, Lenny, the draft is in approximately 2 hours now. What's going through your mind right now? How are your nerves?

Lenny Sanderson: I know this is one of the biggest moments of my life. This draft will determine where I end up for what might be my entire VHL career. To say my nerves are on edge is an understatement. Tonight will be an exciting night for me, that's for sure. I'll be watching the draft from start to finish.

Vergas: In the latest VSN mock draft, which came out earlier today, you were ranked 18th overall and being picked by the Los Angeles Stars. Any thoughts on that?

Sanderson: Yeah, I mean the Stars are obviously a rebuilder, so I'd love to be a big part of that. They're a pretty young team, with not too many guys in the system but they definitely have some promising prospects, and it's for sure a situation I could see myself joining.

Vergas: While all this is going on, you still have your World Juniors finals tonight against Team Europe. Is it hard to focus on your play when such a big milestone looms later?

Sanderson: I'm going to be totally honest, it's hard to concentrate. It's a huge game for Team World tonight, and there's a gold medal on the line. I know Zolnek @Sixersfan594, who's also on Team World, is anxious for the draft too, so knowing I'm not alone here is a good feeling.

Vergas: How do you feel about your chances in the game? While Team World has been spectacular this tournament, the Europeans just pulled off a 5-3 upset of USA in the other semi finals.

Sanderson: I don't care about who the guys on the other side of the rink are, I'm just going to play my game. I've been solid so far, so I think all I can do is play my game, encourage my teammates, and give it 100% every single shift. I know that sounds cliché, but I can tell you from experience, it works every time. I truly believe that's the way we've been playing and that's why we've been so successful.

Vergas: Back to the draft. Looking at your stats, you really picked it up in the playoffs for Saskatoon. Do you think you raised your draft stock with your play?

Sanderson: Yeah, we had a great team in Sasky this season. We weren't all that flashy, but we had great depth and good chemistry with each other. I think I played better in that series for sure, and it was a shame we had to bow out so early.

Vergas: Well, you better get ready, the draft's in no time! Good luck in your world juniors game and at the draft!

Sanderson: Thank you and thanks for having me here.

Alrighty, the draft is in 5 minutes, so Sanderson's preparation begins now. Good luck to all draftees-to-be, and we'll see you all after the draft!

Gally got a reaction from rory in Drafted by LA and WJC Gold!
Friday, January 15, 2021, will be a day to remember in the VHL career of Lenny Sanderson. The young player had one of the hardest and anxious yet exciting and rewarding nights of his life. The night started off with a draft interview with a VHL reporter, with a successful back and forth about Sanderson's present and future in the league. It was good preparation for the more abundant interviews he would receive in the VHL.

He then suited up to play the gold medal game at the S75 World Juniors. Sanderson had done pretty well for a rookie at the tournament, notching 3 goals and 6 points in the round robin 8 games. But in the two playoff games he played, he showed some classic elimination clutch, scoring 2 goals in 2 games and helping Team World get revenge on Team Europe from last season and capture the coveted WJC championship.

From there, it was right back to the draft. Sanderson changed into a suit and prepared for the nerve-wracking tension that is draft day. Sanderson sat through the whole first round, nervously squirming in his seat before the Los Angeles Stars called his name with the second pick of the second round. Sanderson was ecstatic as he pulled on the black and white jersey, the jersey of a team that he might represent his entire VHL career.

Gally reacted to gorlab in BUST OR LICK - SEASON 76 DRAFT EDITION
    Salutations VHLiens,

It's that time of year again. The most controversial forum topic of the off-season is back for it's 7th-annual satirical judgement of the next generation of VHL stars. Despite this being largely a comedic / groaner type of media, my unquestionable status as a sim hockey legend does lend some weight to the status I give out to the rookie crop of VHLers every season. In a future BUST OR LICK, we will be analyzing the results of previous BUST OR LICK articles (or maybe I'll bring in an unbiased third-party researcher) to really show how accurate my ability to predict sim careers is. Today, however, we just have a normal edition of BUST OR LICK.

The formula is simple: I don't pay attention to anything having gone on in the VHLM for the past 1-2 seasons, use marijuana, and categorize each pick in the 1st round of the VHL entry draft into one of the following two categories:

BUST - A bad selection, meaning the selected prospect's career will not pan out or be considered a success. This can be the fault of the player themselves (going inactive, building wrong, etc.) or the team selecting them (cursed, GM'd by beaviss, located in Davos, etc.) will not be experiencing much success in the tenure of the selected player's career.

    or

LICK - A good selection, meaning the selected prospect will likely experience a successful career with any combination of stats/cups/awards. This is usually down to the powerful aura of the user themselves, but can sometimes pop off if the team is looking good/contending.

    Now, without further ado....

BUST OR LICK - S76 VHL ENTRY DRAFT

    1.  Red Lite - @Tate - Tate coming off of a sneaky HoF calibre career with his first gen (I think Lincoln Tate was his first gen player anyways) so it's very hard to give this pick a bust, when you also consider how hot his wife is. Tough break on going to NYA but esso still got hope to turn things around for the franchise. Last season was the first time the 1st overall pick received bust status, and it will remain the sole example of such freak phenomenon because Red Lite gets LICK approval for NYA.

    2.  Battre Sandstrom - @Acydburn- Another re-create I am pretty familiar with. I believe Acyd is also coming off his first-gen effort, which was far less successful than Tate's, but he did manage to claim a couple of cups with Acyd Burn. Good guy imo, pretty decent with graphics but gets lazy with it. Tough call for me, because I think his allegiance is with some other sim leagues and he's an Affiliate claimer, which to me has red flags. Tough break on the draft destination as well.  This is going to be a BUST for me, but I hope Acyd has a good time with his second player.

    3.  Tom Eagles - @Greg_Di- Uhh, is this draft all first gens going to their second player or wtf is going on here? Greg_Di back after a pretty good run with Greg Eagles, quite a bit of hardware and cups. Pretty rare for a first gen goaler to hit a lick like Greg Eagles did, and even moreso since he played half his career on Vancouver. Don't know too much about the guy, and he's kept his forum avatar as a default image - hence we have another BUST.

    4. Hulk Hogan Jr. - @Beaviss - Look, another first gen member coming into their second player.... ahueueueuee, Beaviss coming with another effort here. Not sure how Beav manages to have multiple players on the go in the VHL at basically all times, but since his only HoFer (HHH) is like, 3 players ago now, this can't really go down as a lick. Hopefully Beav and Josh combine like Voltron and take LA to some sort of mediocre success, because the franchise looking like it's falling behind it's expansion counterparts bad. BUST.

    5.  Kristof Welch - @Juice - Literally never heard of this player/member until right now. Peace likes to think he's got a pulse on the VHLM / new gens, which is fine by me. Pretty much the safest BUST of the first round thus far. New member coming into a rotten franchise, that's a big yikes for me.  Good luck to ya though. Maybe you are the missing link that takes Toronto back to relevance (not likely though).

    6.  Frank Funk Jr - @Rayzor_7 - Now here's a much better shot at bringing Toronto to some level of relevance. First-gen on their second player seems to be a running theme in this draft. Rayzor, for me, probably had the most successful first gen career of all the draftees thus far, and imo elevated Seattle into a dynasty team with his last player. Dude has some good info in the finances & stocks discord channel, has gotten into some trouble in his career, and seems to be disliked by a decent chunk of the community. This is a recipe for success in my opinion, and as much as I don't want to do it, Toronto has found themselves a rare LICK here.   We'll see if Rayzor can translate his goaler success to skater success. I think he prob can.

    7.  Caitlyn Catowize - @CrazyCaityCat -

    8.  Hex Rose - @Hex Universe - A really really really really enthusiastic first gen. Annoyingly so. Seattle seems to have a knack of turning this misfit-type member into success, but SEA dynasty is over and not starting up again any time soon. Don't know, or care, what Hex did in the VHLM, and I don't read his articles, sooooooo.....  BUST. Hold this L for now and maybe you'll be lucky enough to throw it back in my face in a few seasons, but I doubt it.

    9.  Phoenix Dawson - @Toast - Ahhhh, finally we get to a historical member who was putting in that sim league pain long before any of the previous draftees. Salute to Toast, always been a good guy to chat with, and when he's active, can be a really enjoyable/driving force in the league. I haven't followed his VHLM career, and unless he's incognito on Discord, I haven't seen him much there either. I clearly have a huge bias for historical members, but let's keep it 100 here. He's on Seattle, and he's probably going to go back inactive. BUST.

    10.  Robin Galante Nilsson - @RomanesEuntDomus - Another somewhat historical member. I've clashed with him numerous times over the past ~10 years or so, but I can't deny he knows how to build an STHS player, and **CAN** be a big/active member of the community. Pretty sure he still calls SHL home and treats VHL as a side-piece, which is a flaw for me. For anybody who knows our history, this is going to seem like a massive heel turn, but I'm willing to say that if VHL was his main league, and he wasn't welfare'ing, this would be a lick. Even being on Welfare, and being on Vancouver, this guy does have the capability to produce a dominant sim league player. BUST anyways though. GL to you RED.

    11.  Gunnar Odinsson - @BOOM - Best pick of round 1 full-stop. When you factor in that BOOM is one of the most iconic VHL members of all-time AND you have the enigma Jubo07 popping up, out of literally nowhere, to take him @ 11th overall, which I think was surprising for a lot of people, makes this a very volatile LICK for me. VHL has changed a lot since BOOM's peak of activity era when he was posting beautiful topless women without a care in the world, but I HOPE he continues activity for the career of Odinsson just because he's a great community member to have around. Jubo might have cracked the code and entered the matrix with this pick. Look for Helsinki to be a force again shortly. BOOM the only VHLer in history to be willing to cop plane tickets to come run a fade. If that ain't lick status IDK what is.

    12.  Phil The Rock Johnson - @Phil - Back-to-back iconic VHL members at 11 and 12 here. In the current VHL gen, Phil has fallen back a bit, but he definitely has the ability to crack off a HoFer and be a positive, enjoyable member of the community if he's regularly active. I do have some activity concerns, but his pedigree is unquestionable. I don't want to fuck up my lick ratios, but for a member as iconic as Phil, exceptions need to be made. Sorry about going to SEA, phil.  LICK.

    13.  Philip Stein - @IHateBobNutting- Going to assume this guy made an impact in the VHLM. Hopefully McWolf unearthed a gem for himself, as LDN finds themselves with LA, lagging behind the rest of the expansion teams. Obvious BUST though. We got VHL legends at 11 and 12, then somebody who hates BobNutting enough that he made it his username. What's so bad about Bob Nutting anyways?

    14.  Magnus Verlander - @Jbeezy76 - Username is sort of familiar to me, so they might be a recreate, or from another league.  Calgary can't update their new logo as an emote though???   Have nothing coming to mind when I think of this player / user. Good luck in your career I guess? BUST.

    15.  Abe Roque - @Abe Roque - Now this is a first gen I like. Same name on the player and user. I know nothing about this guy, but he seems like a meat & potatos type of player. Nothing fancy, just hard work and dedication. Obviously not a lick, but hey, could be the next great VHL member? Probably not but I guess d_a can dream. BUST.

    16.  Jivere Zolnek - @Sixersfan594 - This guy is actually a sim league legend as well. Beaviss MIGHT have caught himself a lick here, because even though sixers aka taron aka tomer aka DYMO (like I said this guy has a rich sim league history) I think is primarily on SBA and doing affiliate PT here, he does have STHS experience and can both build a productive player, and be a productive LR guy. He's a good guy and I consider him a friend, especially from my SBA days, but he might fuck off on beaviss or beaviss might misuse him. Hate to not give him a lick, but he'll get over it. BUST for me, but really a solid pick for 16th overall IMO.

There you have it folks. Another season, and another crop of VHL prospects who have had their unplayed careers judged and categorized by someone who barely remembers anything about the VHL other than what my own player does. Hope everybody had fun, and congratulations to all the recently drafted players. May you find your time in the VHL to be a LICK even though I've already confirmed that it's going to be a BUST.

Thanks for reading. Cya next off-season.

Gally reacted to JigglyGumballs in S75 LVA End of Season Progress Report
So hey! The long awaited follow up to this progress report is finally here!! It took me a while and a lot of procrastination but it's finally here!! A couple of things I wanna say before we get to it, this progress report will include not only regular season stats, but postseason stats as well. Another thing I would like to note is that there are some new additions to this team, and there are also people who have left this team. I won't be covering those who left the team, and for the later additions, I'll cover their overall stats in general instead of covering what they did in LVA. Mostly because I'm lazy. Finally all the (+10)s and all that is basically the amount of TPE earned since the last progress report. And because the later additions were never acquired since that last report, they won't have any of those. Anyways, let's get on with it!!

    C - Its Gucci, TPE: 352 (+98) @frescoelmo
    72GP, 19G, 53A, 72P, +6
    Playoffs: 12GP, 2G, 7A, 9P, -1

So to start things off, let us begin with Gucci himself. Gucci has been nothing but consistent in his role as Vegas’s number 1 center ever since the beginning of last season. As the number 1 center, he put up a very respectable 72 points in 72 games with an outstanding 53 assists to his name despite having a scoring build. He’s met every expectation I’ve had and I was never once disappointed with his production. This playmaking style along with 79 hits despite having applied no TPE to checking makes Gucci a formidable rookie moving into the VHL. Sadly, he’s stuck in LA so you already know that things aren’t looking too bright for this star.

    D - Matt Thunder, TPE: 340 (+86) @Matt thunder
    72GP, 16G, 51A, 67P, +10
    Playoffs: 12GP, 4G, 7A, 11P, +3

Next off is our resident Frenchie in Matt Thunder. Comparing his current stats to last season’s stats, Thunder has improved in almost every single major category. Improvements to goals, assists, points, shots blocked, hits, and the most important stat to have a bigger number on, penalty minutes. He may not have had exceptional over a point per game stats but to me, that’s to be expected. I knew this season Vegas was going to be a more defensively stacked team. Until @Spartan traded picks and players for 200+ TPE forwards. Even then 67 points as a defenseman is still very solid. Thunder’s success has to do with his consistent earning. A max earning clicker, who’s actually written a media spot as of late, has been earning a lot each week and is consistent in maintaining his activity. A great player for Riga if they ever have room.

    D - Chase Crosby, TPE: 267 (+24) @Wreckening
    72GP, 8G, 37A, 45P, -8
    Playoffs: 12GP, 2G, 2A, 4P, -2

While others rise and achieve much success, others may not be as fortunate. That’s the case with Chase Crosby. Despite a respectable 45 points in 72 games, and a good 95 shots blocked, Crosby has since fallen silent as he hasn’t updated this whole week as of writing. Crosby has always been consistent as a clicker, simply adding welfare and practice facility each week for a slow, but again consistent earning pace. Plus there is the occasional press conference as well. Hopefully he doesn’t go full inactive and becomes a good player for Riga as he moves onto the VHL.

    D - Linus Zetterstrom, TPE: 367 (+128) @Ledge_and_Dairy
    72GP, 8G, 44A, 52P, -1
    Playoffs: 12GP, 2G, 10A, 12P, +4

The Team World gold medalist Linus Zetterstrom has been nothing but exceptional for Vegas.  This promising first-gen has blossomed into one of this league's more respectable members. Well to me at least. 80 hits and 83 shots blocked added along with his 52 points, this pass first defenseman will be an excellent addition to Riga. I have listed playoff stats despite never talking about them until now mostly because I’d rather forget the playoffs. However, Zetterstrom has provided LVA a bright spot in that rather poor postseason as he put up an outstanding 12 points in  12 games along with a +4 rating. I’m honestly gonna miss him in Vegas. He’s already shown great promise in the management scene as well. Pulling off a silver medal in this season’s WJC with Europe as his first stint in the GM/AGM scene. Sadly though I had a prophecy to fulfill so kinda robbed him from gold. Not sorry about that.

    RW - Artair McCloud, TPE: 351 (+121) @Hoopydog
    72GP, 28G, 20A, 48P, -5
    Playoffs: 12GP, 4G, 6A, 10P, -2

Despite having smashed previous season records, McCloud has not had the offensive production I expected out of him. Though it isn’t without effort. A whopping 227 shots from McCloud. The reasoning as to why he wasn’t as offensively productive was simply because he ran out of luck. STHS had struck him down for no other reason than Simon’s a bitch. Apart from that, McCloud has maintained his max earning ever since he came into Vegas as a 4th rounder. Now that’s what you call a draft steal. He’s another person who I’ll genuinely miss having in LVA as I still remember scouting him in my first season as an AGM. Wish you the best of luck in the VHL and especially against Moscow as Spartan might be headhunting vegas alum to bully.

    D - Joakim Lund, TPE: 218 (+12) @Bouncyelf
    72GP, 6G, 10A, 16P, 0+/-
    Playoffs: 12GP, 1G, 2A, 3P, -6

Joakim Lund is an odd one to me. He has a total of 290 VHLM games played, and yes that’s VHLM not VHL. Heck he’s not even at the VHL cap yet. He’s still going to probably play one season here in Vegas until he finally moves up to the VHL. I guess Prague is really patient with him. I swear he’s broken some kind of franchise record for games played as I’ve never seen any other LVA player who’s stayed here for as long as he has. Anyways, after a week of no updating, he’s since gone back to his clicker ways. The simple easy task of welfare and practice facility. His stats don’t surprise me too much. He has a very defensive minded build and that shows with his 186 hits and 72 shots blocked. So I guess I’ll see you next season then?

    RW - Kelly Power, TPE: 242 (+38) @Nordin
    72GP, 21G, 17A, 38P, +15
    Playoffs: 12GP, 4G, 4A, 8P, -6

Although I expected much less offensive production from LVA to start the season with the more stacked defensive core, I was expecting top 6 talent to at least hit 40-50 points. That wasn’t the case for the Irishman. Though when one aspect of his game was struggling, he found another part of his game where he could shine. Power, as his surname suggests, is a dominant physical force. An insane 251 hits this season. Unfortunately though, Power has since gone inactive. Not really because he’s lost interest in the league though. I’ve heard that Power has had some personal life stuff and has since taken a break from both the VHL and EFL. I honestly wish you the best of luck in the future and hope you do return.

    RW - Connor Sim, TPE: 285 (+93) @SimmerDown99
    72GP, 30G, 25A, 55P, -1
    Playoffs: 12GP, 4G, 9A, 13P, +4

I’ve mentioned time and time before that Sim is a bonafide draft steal. From being a 100+ TPE forward on the bottom 6 to top line talent. His 93 TPE growth from the last report says a lot about this guy. Consistent high earning and has been nothing but excellent for Vegas. Sure his points in the regular season may not show it, but this guy’s playoff stats is another one of those bright spots from an otherwise poor playoff performance as a team. An outstanding 13 points in 12 playoff games, with 9 assists and a +4 rating. He’ll make a good player in... Riga again. Jesus Christ how many former LVA players does Riga even have?

    LW - Angel Wachuire, TPE: 206 (+26) @inflastud
    72GP, 29P, 33A, 62P, +16
    Playoffs: 12GP, 0G, 4A, 4P, -6

Despite being an offensive force during the regular season, Wachuire failed to produce in the playoffs. Only 4 assists in 12 games with a -6 rating. Coupled with highly inconsistent TPE earning, I find Angel Wachuire’s future uncertain. He has a good build, yet he’s going to become inactive if he doesn’t update soon. His last update being week ending Dec 20th. Though if he does update soon, he’ll be once again staying down another season here with Vegas. I tend to forget that he’s heading into his 4th season as an Ace which is damn surprising. Maybe he and Lund can compete for the franchise record for most games played.

    D - Breeze Ladrian, TPE: 253 (+84) @Kelsier
    72GP, 3G, 40A, 43P, +16
    Playoffs: 12GP, 0G, 1A, 1P, -3

Breeze Ladrian has quietly earned his way to surpass the VHLM cap of 250 TPE. I honestly thought he was going to stay a bit longer, but nonetheless I’m happy with his growth. A rather solid 43 points and a great +16 rating despite a good chunk of the team being minus players shows a good balance of offense and defense. A pretty good two-way style of play. Though with only 1 assist in the postseason, it’s rather unfortunate that he wasn’t able to translate his offensive stats into the playoffs. Otherwise I really don’t have anything else to say other than I wish you the best of luck in Moscow!

    G - Thadius Sales, TPE: 385 @thadthrasher
    68GP, 38W, 25L, 3OTL, .89SV%, 2.85 GAA
    Playoffs: 12GP, 5W, 7L, 0OTL, .853SV%, 3.98GAA

The first new player from the last progress report, Thad was acquired in a trade that sent former LVA starter, Matthew A Sovick Jr @matt sovick to Miami. How did Thad do as the new starter? Well it wasn’t much of a change apparently. Comparing the stats Sovick had in LVA to Sales, Thad only has slightly better numbers than Sovick. Postseason performance? Well let's not talk about that. That can go die in a hole. Thad has had amazing growth since coming to the VHL. Becoming San Diego’s new GM in a matter of months. Heck I was in the VHL before Thad was and he’s already a GM. Skipping through the process of having no rights. This just goes to show what kind of a person Thad is. His stint here in Vegas is short, but I’ll miss him.

    C - Evgeni Shevkov, TPE: 212 (+62) @Syzygy
    72GP, 6G, 13A, 19P, +9
    Playoffs: 12GP, 0G, 0A, 0P, -2

Another player who’s quietly earned his way to the 200+ TPE mark, Shevkov has broken his point totals from last season yes, but just barely. With more games as well. It’s nothing with his build, but he was playing 4th line minutes by the end of the season as Hex Rose casually overtook his spot in the no. 3 center position with his obscene amount of first-gen enthusiasm. Nevertheless, Shevkov is expected to take over as the new no. 1 center next season, and along with his consistent clicker earning, he is expected to provide much needed offense on what looks like a potential rebuilding season. Keep up the good work!

    RW - Andy Nexber, TPE: 233 (+95) @Domino Draws
    72GP, 15G, 13A, 28P, +11
    Playoffs: 12GP, 1G, 0A, 1P, -2

What’s this? A 200+ TPE forward that only has 28 points? What’s up with that? Well uh… Vegas went all in this season by the trade deadline. Acquiring wingers like Sheldon Juniper and Dan Dan. Forcing Andy Nexber to take a little bit of a backseat. His build is pretty good despite having a few TPE placed on rather useless stats like penalty shot, however Nexber is finally going to have the spotlight here in Vegas if he decides to stay. As he’s projected to become the new number 1 winger for this team. Sure it doesn’t look like Vegas might be as competitive as it has been the last few seasons, but hopefully this is where Nexber finally breaks out.

    G - Aksu Maronen, TPE: 212 (+89) @aksuko
    14GP, 5W, 1L, 0OTL, .871SV%, 2.82GAA
    Playoffs: 4GP, 0W, 0L, 0OTL, .929SV%, 3.04GAA

Okay I think I might’ve lost track on my own team’s earning with my busy ass life, but Maronen is ANOTHER one of those players who quietly earned his way to the 200+ TPE range. And as a backup as well. His most notable performance this season has been in the playoffs as he’s come in relief of Thadius Sales in 4 playoff games. Putting up an impressive .929SV%. However he also had a 3.04GAA during those games as well. Nevertheless, Maronen is expected to become next season’s starting goalie for Vegas as he is out to prove the teams that missed him out in the VHL draft wrong. Keep up the good work!

    D - Vincent Correll, TPE: 125 (+23) @correllvincent
    72GP, 0G, 15A, 15P, +10
    Playoffs: 12GP, 0G, 1A, 1P, -6

The thing about us humans is that we make mistakes. We often find ourselves making a few wrong choices every now and then. It appears like I may have made a mistake here with Correll. When I was scouting him, I liked his response and I had a genuine feeling that he may be the next Linus Zetterstrom in a way. Come the first progress report in which this is a followup to, I had doubts about his activity. Now he’s nearly considered inactive. He really should’ve been closer to the 180 TPE mark this season, however with a growth of 23 TPE since the last report, it seems he may not find himself in a team soon if he doesn’t update. He can still prove me wrong though. Actually, it’d be better if he did prove me wrong. Hopefully that can be the case.

    C - Hex Rose, TPE: 257 (+137) @Hex Universe
    72GP, 15G, 24A, 39P, +15
    Playoffs: 12GP, 2G, 3A, 5P, -7

I honestly wonder if Hex has a twitch channel. Because he’s damn good at speedrunning through the VHLM as a first-gen. He’s had the biggest amount of TPE growth out of the ENTIRE fucking team as a first-gen who just joined in November. I’m honestly impressed. The man’s had a great amount of enthusiasm to max earn since the very start. And now he’s a member of the death trap known as the VSN and is now on his way to become a force to be reckoned with in Seattle. His stint was also short in Vegas, but I’ll always enjoy your enthusiasm for the VHL. Now just don’t take my job pls.

    RW - Dan Dan, TPE: 368 @MMFLEX
    73GP, 40G, 43A, 83P, +5
    Playoffs: 12GP, 3G, 5A, 8P, -2

Now to finish off the progress report, we’ve got our new additions to the team that were added sometime after the initial progress report. We’ve already covered Thadius Sales so let’s move onto Dan Dan. He, along with Jordan Tate, was acquired in a blockbuster deal with Mississauga. Which ended up having him play 73 regular season games apparently. Dan Dan is an offensive powerhouse. Greatly helping Vegas during the rest of the regular season. An exceptional 83 points in 73 games, with 40 goals to boast. Playoffs wise he did really well with 8 points. The -2 is a bit of a concern though. His stint in Vegas was short, but he sure as hell made an impact

C - Jordan Tate, TPE: 278 @Aye my name jeff
    73GP, 28G, 45A, 73P, -5
    Playoffs: 12GP, 6G, 8A, 14P, +4

Dan Dan’s teammate from Mississauga, Tate is another offensive powerhouse that came into Vegas and provided much needed offense to the team. With 73 points, 45 assists in 73 games, Tate can score. Though what made him truly shine as an Ace is during the postseason. Putting up an amazing 14 points in 12 games. Heck he led the Aces in playoff points. A prospect of Chicago, his earning hasn’t been as consistent as it was previously, though I still expect him to become a solid addition to Chicago in the future.

    LW - Sheldon Juniper, TPE: 346 @fyrefly
    72GP, 33G, 34A, 67P -1
    Playoffs: 12GP, 5G, 5A, 10P, +4

The last player to be acquired via trade, Sheldon Juniper is an acquisition that honestly might get glossed over simply because of Dan Dan and Jordan Tate. His 33 goals, 34 assists in 72 games is still very solid numbers. He’s another one of those players who was a key contributor in the postseason. Amassing 10 points in 12 games along with a +4 rating. I know we haven’t talked much mostly because you don’t have discord, or at least I don’t think you do, but I wish you the best of luck in the VHL!

    LW - Shaggy Tipton, TPE: 125 @Jakefufu
    37GP, 1G, 1A, 2P, 0+/-
    Playoffs, 12GP, 0G, 0A, 0P, -2

And last but not least, we got our other waiver acquisition in Shaggy Tipton. Having only played 37 games and put up 2 points, Tipton joined late this season, though with his solid consistent earning (despite missing a week), he should still be a good acquisition to any team that drafts him in both the VHL and VHLM. I expect him to properly break out next season. So keep up the good work and hopefully we can draft you back this upcoming draft!

Well that's that. I'm sorry this took so long, my life has been busy as of late, but hey I still got the report in the end so it's all good right? I'm probably going to have to make a new one in a couple of weeks so I'm probably fucked. Nevertheless I hope you guys do enjoy the article and hopefully I didn't miss anyone/anything out.

It's finally time for the final WJC GM hiring. No, there's no secret sixth team. No, there's no deep state conspiracy taking over the WJC. No, you're not getting coal in your stocking if you don't get hired today.

Your S75 Team World GM is...

Jiggly comes back! JigglyGumballs has the experience and personality needed to bring glory to Team Everywhere-Else.

Jiggs is another first-gen power user (seeing a trend yet?!) that has impressed at every stop in their VHL journey. Jiggly has had an excellent stint as Spartan's right hand in Las Vegas because of their strong locker room presence and infectious positive attitude. Jiggly is a huge fan of the WJC, and that excitement has spread through almost every channel in the main VHL discord server. His ability to make people care about our wee ol' tournament is a huge asset to the team.

After a shocking run to the finals last season, Jiggly has a rare chance for redemption. Silver won't be enough for Jiggs this year, and his ragtag team of players left off other teams always come into the tournament with a full bag of doritos on their shoulders. With experience making lines, scouting prospects, and assisting in the draft, Jiggly is looking to convert his assistant-ing management skills into general-ing management skills at the WJC. Las Vegas is one of the more bumpin' VHLM locker rooms, so look for the Team World discord to be 🔥 . Jiggly does an amazing job of keeping everyone included and excited, and this season will be no different.

On the ice, Mr Gumballs is hoping to get some better results as a manager than as a player. Poor Jiggly has had to play for the lowly Las Angeles Stars their whole career. It's a wonderful opportunity to play with the legendary Jeffery Pines, but other than that, Jiggly the player has an awfully empty trophy case. Another WJC medal as a manager would be a feather in the cap of this up and coming league executive.

Congratulations to Jiggly Gumballs, and best of luck in your chance at redemption and upgrading your silver medal to a gold one at the World Junior Championships!
