  1. The various season/playoff rallies of the mid-20's Americans: the red rectangle, RIP Keon, etc.
  2. No, he definitely spelled "it's" correctly. He spelled "its" wrong. Or more aptly, he used the wrong word.
  3. Quick podcast to get the Davos roster reveal started. http://www20.zippyshare.com/v/N0Djo7Cw/file.html for mist4ke
  4. Pretending to be @Mr. Hickey for a week or so back in like S16/S17. I apparently did a good enough job at it to confuse @Squinty and he has cited it as being one of his favorite memories in the VHL as well.
  5. @Backlund My time with Keiji Toriyama on Vasteras helped reignite my interest in the league
  6. Rogue Squadron fun with @Jericho @Noah!! @.sniffuM @diamond_ace @Devise @Advantage though I don't actually remember for sure if Devise and Advantage were part of that.
  7. That was a good one especially when you guys lost. Light and Stockholm both coming out better as a result of the separation tho
  8. Yo hey @TheLastOlympian07 I definitely sent in answers for this week.
  9. The S12 draft, which my first player was a part of. The draft was super hype with the big three that Quik mentioned above, but there were some solid players late in the first (including myself) and into the second round. Plus the draft was done live via podcast which may not seem like such a big thing nowadays with podcasts being more prevalent, but back then it was a pretty big deal.
  10. Boo you. You had more goals and points this season than I had in my first two combined, so wait your turn!
  11. With back-to-back four-goal games, Diana Maxwell has all but ensured she will be the recipient of both the Mike Szatkowski (Most Points) and Kevin Brooks (Most Goals) Trophies. While there are still a couple games yet to play (New York vs Calgary, Toronto vs Quebec), it would take someone having a seven goal or a ten point game to keep Maxwell from winning the awards. Assuming that doesn't happen, this will be her second time winning each of these awards, with the first coming last season. In Game 345, Maxwell scored all four of New York's goals against the Toronto Legion. This was shortly after Franchise Cornerstone secured a lead in the goals race with a hat trick of his own. To really put a stamp on things, Maxwell followed up her performance with another four-goal game, this time adding an assist as well, in Game 351. With one game remaining for New York, she sits at 54 goals and 113 points (Rhett DeGrath's phenomenal season for the Vikings is likely the only thing standing between her and her first regular season MVP trophy). After a very disappointing start to her career, Maxwell now certainly has a shot at making it into the Hall of Fame. With two championships and a playoff MVP to go alone with the aforementioned awards, Maxwell has a noteworthy trophy cabinet. She still has the upcoming postseason and two more seasons to go, so there is time to add more to her list of accomplishments.
  12. Gotta keep up with Cornerstone
  13. Also gimme @swoosh and @icedragon770 and I'll be good.
  14. Wait, DGFX and 8O8 were brothers? Also (re: DGFX has two HOFers) I'm pretty sure Harvey Singh isn't in the HoF, but Japinder Singh is. So each of those two has one HOFer.
  15. With just a handful of games left to play, it's hard to imagine a scenario where Rhett DeGrath is not eventually named the S55 MVP. With his 64 starts in the books, he currently sits at a 0.941 save percentage for the Vikings, who are currently tied with the Titans at 105 points. If DeGrath's save percentage doesn't decrease, it will be the second best in a single season (behind Anton Nygard's 0.949 from S9). He is also set to break the single season 1.33 GAA record that he set last season. Meanwhile, STZ's other player, Unassisted, is not doing so hot. While he is one of the many players involved in the Top Goals race, he has just 79 points this season. I remember he was one of my honorable mentions for mid-season MVP, but that has gone out the window. Playing in his final season, it's looking like he'll finish under 100 points for the first time since his rookie season. Still, I think he's certainly a first ballot Hall of Famer. I know we have had some good candidates recently, some of whom are still waiting to get in, but I'm not sure any of them are as deserving as Unassisted. for mist4ke
