Stockholm Is Alive STOCKHOLM - After a brutal going in Season 41 in which the Stockholm Vikings "boasted" a losing streak of over 30 games and a final win tally of just ten, the tides have suddenly turned for the long-suffering franchise. After a discouraging 0-3 start, the Vikings broken out with a four-game winning streak, easily a team-best since the move to Stockholm last season. Led by defensemen Jack Kowalski and Lord Karnage, Stockholm appears to be finally finding their groove offensively, especially after forwards Tyrone Williams and Andrew Erikson were brought in to provide depth. "It feels great to finally be living up to the expectations we've set for ourselves," said Kowalski following a 5-4 win over the Riga Reign, in which the Vikings' captain recorded his second four point performance of the season. "We've got a very promising group here in Stockholm and I feel the VHL is only just starting to see what this team is capable of doing." Stockholm will face a real test against the Seattle Bears, as their young forwards will be hard-pressed to beat Niklaus Mikaelson, who is having a season very worthy of a Dustin Funk Trophy thus far. Jethro Novacek is a contributor to the MSFL Times, who cannot wait for the draft to arrive. He enjoys mocking Mel Kiper Jr's "hair," laughing at the Washington Capitals and playing in Big Team Battle lobbies in Halo.

I don't think I've ever been a free agent other than my very first player in my very first football league, due to joining after the season started. Too damn loyal to ever make it that far.
