1. Take away everything. Look at why the team lost and figure out what needs to be done on an individual level, and a team level, to come back to the post season in 74, and go deeper than this season.

 

2. I think the team should look at some of the centers like Isabella Campbell, also potentially some wingers like Sandstrom or Schwarz, to fill out the rest of the roster. Defensively I think the team is pretty solid, with a top pairing guy like Downey and good depth with Petrovic, as well as defensive prospects coming up this coming season.

 

3. I'll be continuing to work on my shooting, and starting to try and round out my game before I make my debut.

 

4. No regrets, I had a great season in the VHLM, I'm happy with what I accomplished.

 

5. A bit biased but I think our own defenseman, Jeff Downey, needs to get more recognition. He has had several solid seasons in the league and has just finished with the most points out of all defensemen in the VHL.

 

6. Other than myself  I think Dakota Lamb, and Patrik Laine were great choices, and are gonna be some of my biggest competition for ROTY.

1. We're a young team that is rapidly improving, come next season we can win it all.

2. No idea, can't give away draft secrets.

3. Improving faceoffs, it's going to help the entire team.

It is always good to get the new guys some playoff experience, no matter how short it is. Very important to developing as a player.

I really like Aloe Dear but I doubt he makes it to our pick. He would be a great addition though.

Just got to try and keep myself competitive as I get older. This isn't an old players league, and I am getting up there.

I wish we could have made it deeper in the playoffs of course. For my personal game? No real regrets.

5. Who is the most underrated player in the league?

 

Erik Summers maybe? You hear nothing about that guy ever.

6. Who would you class as top prospect from last season (S73) Draft?

 

I think JP Camus was extremely impressive this season for the expansion Chicago Phoenix, very good showing by him.

Not to take any team for granted, I think we came in thinking DC would be easy.

It's going to depend on where we pick, but I think this draft has a lot of worth first round talent.

3. What will you be doing to improve for next season?

Going to keep working hard, I'm getting older and am starting to feel those skill slip a bit.

4. Is there any regrets you have about last season?

I took too many PIMs.
 

5. Who is the most underrated player in the league?

I'm not sure, I think there are a ton of great players who aren't noticed because they don't top the leader board in one category or the other.

6. Who would you class as top prospect from last season (S73) Draft?

Not sure, but the Terrible Trivium did pretty well.

1. I'm looking forward to developing my game with other newer players on the team, and hopefully helping to turn this team into a big contender for seasons to come.

 

2. I don't really have best friends inside the VHL.

 

3. My player number, 27, is just my birthday.

 

4. I'm wanting to go on a deep playoff run with this team. For myself, I'm shooting for nothing short of ROTY.

 

5. I don't know what the Tahiti incident is, but I don't think I'd want to answer that question if I knew what it was.

 

6. In general, I think making build guides much more visible to newer players, easier to access, would help. For me, on the team right now, there's nothing more you can do, we have a great GM and AGM here in Vancouver, so I'm sure if there was anything I'd be able to find help very quickly.

1. I am looking forward to doing more point tasks, getting tpe is fun for me.
2. @nikhedonia is my best friend not in vancouver and my best friend IRL.
3. It is the same number as Logan Courture, I have it on a sharks jersey.
4. I predict I will be good.

6. Yes. I think people struggle with creating their character the most when it comes to sim leagues. And while we're trying ot make them as easy as possible, as it stands it is still a little daunting and does turn away a few potential members.

1. What is something you're looking forward too for the coming season?

It will be exciting to see where I fall on the lines, I am hoping to be a main contributor to our team. I look forward to seeing what going pro does to my stat line.

2. Who would you say you're best friend not on Vancouver is?

 Do I have to pic one ? I consider quite a few people close friend and i would rather not choose one over the others :3

3. What does your players number mean to you?

 13 is my inside joke of sorts, to a lot of people it is unlucky but I like a challenge. Give me all the bad luck and I'll still push through. Venus Thightrap doesn't let anything get in the way of what she wants, so move or be moved.
4. What are your predicitions for next season? Personal or league wide (Standings or your players stats)

I'm predicting a Helsinki Vancouver final...Might be crazy but anything is possible lol

Do you live up to your last name? ( I wouldn't put it past people to ask me if I really an a Thightrap...)

Only thing I noticed so far is we don't have a team tag, it is useful for letting all the members know that press conference questions are up and even a nice thing to have available in case someone writes a team article and wants to tag the team in it.

Just getting back out there and playing, we did well last year so lets see what this year holds.

Lots of good people in the league, but my closest would be @.sniffuM.

Just always a number that I liked, probably because it is the day of the month I was born.

I think this season will be tougher than the last one for us.  Hopefully we can still squeak into the playoffs.

1. We did really well because we got me.
2. I'm looking to keep a good balance.

1. Honestly thought we had one of the best drafts, I was really happy with the number of high end talent we got and the users that are behind the players are great too.

 

2. Stats wise I don't know, but I'm setting my sights on ROTY.

 

3. First thing I do is go to a vending machine and grab a Snickers bar because you're not you when you're hungry and I want to be me when I play hockey.

 

4. My perfect linemate would be anyone who can pass the puck really well, my best attribute would be my shot so anyone who can help me utilize that would be a great linemate for me.

 

5. There weren't too many reaches in my opinion, but the biggest faller was very clearly Luke Thornton.

 

6. An early favourite for me is L, they're a max earner and gorlab is a very active member.

Really well, I think the picks we made were solid choices, unlike some of the last couple seasons where it was risk big, win big.

I'd like to continue to put up strong defensive numbers and reach 60 points again, it's currently not looking good on either front.

Stretch, Stretch, Stretch, got get limbered up for practice.

We have a plethora of great shooters on the team, I think I do well with many of them because I want to get the puck to the good shooters

Maybe Gabriel Akerstrom, many players who had higher tpe, but I don't do a lot of scouting so maybe Helsinki knows something I don't!

1. Drafting Emi, because she is very good.
2. Emi will stand out of the team this season because she is very good.
3. Greg, he told my team, Halifax, that he is the best so I will believe him. He has been getting some good scores I think.
4. If we believe hard enough we will acheive. I think we have a good team.
5. Emi will be a future leader in the locker room because Emi is good. She is an AGM already though.
6. Emi, she takes on too many roles across all sim leagues and I know she doesn't know how to say no to an oppurtunity like that.

It could really be anything but I like to think it is the chemistry between our build but I think the mos important thing is for us all to continue building for the future, we don't just want to win we want to dominate.

As of right now it looks like Andrew Su @Da_Berr and Jeff Downey @JeffD will be our top 2 wolves but who knows? We have a team full of talented players, there is no knowing who will step up, Jummy Spyro has done amazing as well @DarkSpyro

3. Who do you think will win rookie of the year?

Aloe Dear @Renomitsu , She is in the right position to really break out being on an expansion and having high ice time.
 

4. Do you think we can make the playoffs this season?

Of course, we have the drive and talent to get us there too, if not yay for a high draft pick ...there is always a silver lining.

5. Who do you see being a future leader in the locker room?

Can I say me? lol It is always my goal to be a leader in the Locker Room. Micah Adrienne @Poptart is already a fantastic leader who gets our locker room pumping every game

6. Which player is most likely to go into management once they retire?

I hear Emi Rune might be looking for her shot in VHL management, but I guess only time will tell. @Emi

1. "We got a good group here, just gotta get the offense going to give spyro a little breather."

I think  we have been playing great as a team.  Lots of people getting involved with the goals.

2. Who do you think the stand out of the team will be this season?

Downey and Su are both standing out so far.

Still a lot of season left, with Grachev leading the way so far, but I'm not counting out our own Jesper Norberg to came away with it.

 

4. Do you think we can make the playoffs this season?

Absolutely, I would be shocked if we didn't.

5. Who do you see being a future leader in the locker room?

Thightrap, Rune, Adrienne,  and Sandstorm have been active, I expect they will be leading the way in the Wolves' future.

6. Which player is most likely to go into management once they retire?

Probably Emi Rune.
