  1. Alright, I knew the previous matches were just individual ones you set up. I was wondering if you had established the new universe yet or not but you answered that question. also, what's going on with some NCAA stuff for the SBA?! Lol
  2. Is this already all set up or is this what the plan is?
  3. Very nicely done. As someone who doesn't follow the VHL at all, it's nice to read things like this. Very well written, too. Really don't have anything negative to say about it. I guess we'll have to wait for the board to announce the rosters though to see if you're right.
  4. Very nicely done. Very thorough job. I guess I didn't even realize there was an All-Star Game for the VHL until the recent posts about it. Only complaint would be maybe this list should have gone from oldest to newest. Still, overall, nicely done.
  5. Fuuuudge, I didn't realize they were S49 3rd rounders. ^^^That's fine.
  6. If someone really wants the position, I'll still step down. I did just trade away the only semi-active player I had for some picks though. So there's that...
  7. Nice rookie profile. It's nice to see some humor in these generally stale write ups. No errors or issues as far as I saw. Keep up the good work!
  8. This was very well written. A lot of the times I'll read rookie profiles and they are kind of blah, but this one is very well done. Nice job. No issues with grammar or content.
  9. Nice job comparing two things that I never thought could be related. Though I do not follow wrestling, I think it was still easy to understand and read. Nicely done. There were maybe one or two grammatical errors but scrolling back through, I can't find them so they must not be too big. Keep up the good work!
  10. I still have no idea how I won. I got pummeled the entire match lol
  11. ...I have no idea what I just read. That being said, there were some grammatical errors but it was also in the dialog so I'm not sure if it was intentional or not. Not sure how many more of these I can read but definitely not shortage of creativity with this. Nice job!
  12. Nice little write up. Only a few things I noticed and I'll get to those in a second. But as someone who does not follow the VHL, it's nice to read these types of things. In the Lord Karnage write up, he is a dominant power forward, not dominate. Jody 3 Moons is performing, typo says "preforming." Von Karma: "done the stretch" should be "down the stretch" Even with those errors, it was easy to read and well done. Keep up the good work!
  13. Felipe Rodriguez - 2 TPE Uhh, nevermind, I think I did a PT already... Nope, I didn't. Claiming.
  14. don't listen to these guys, I like it lol
  15. I thought knack was like "he's got a knack for tickling the twine" lol idk, I'm not an English major.
  16. VHLM Top Defensemen Pt 2 of 2 Last week we took a look at fourth and third place in points for defensemen, Black Velvet of the Yukon Rush and Cian Mercer of the Ottawa Lynx. This week we’ll take a look up the rankings to second and first place. To keep things fair, we will be using statistics from the time the previous article was written. I will close by showing the updated statistics for all four defensemen covered in these articles. In second place in points is Tanner Hynes of the Moscow Red Wolves. He is not leading defensemen in any category but he is close to the top in all statistics leading him to be second in total points. Through his first 12 games, Tanner had tallied three goals and 18 assists good for 21 points which actually tied him with Cian Mercer. Due to Tanner’s three goals to Cian’s two, we gave him the nod for second place. Tanner appears to be absent from the training and weight room as of late so it is hard to say how he will progress the rest of the season, if at all. Tanner also has 19 blocked shots to go along with a 8.57% shooting percentage. In first place in points for defensemen we have Felipe Rodriguez of the Saskatoon Wild. He had five goals and 19 assists good for 24 points, just one point behind first overall David Hamilton. He had been shooting at 11.90% and blocked a league-leading 35 shots through his first 12 games. Lately he’s been seen in the weight room working on his strength as well as on the rink and film room working on his defensive positioning. It has paid dividends as he continues to lead the league in blocked shots, something he has been saying he hoped to do when asked earlier in his career. Despite Saskatoon’s struggles, he has managed a +1 rating but we wouldn’t expect that to keep up as Saskatoon might go into a rebuild mode. He has been scoring at a decent rate so we would just expect him to maybe bulk up before hitting his training cap for the minors. Since the first article was written, the standings for defensemen have changed a little. Felipe Rodriguez took over first overall in points, Cian Mercer is now in second overall for points passing up Tanner Hynes in the defensemen standings, and Black Velvet is up to fifth overall and fourth in defensemen points. Rodriguez has also extended his lead in blocked shots up to 69, 19 more than second place Tanner Hynes and Supa Hot Fire with 50 each. Since last week, Black Velvet has been on a league leading 20 game point streak. The current stat sheet for all four defensemen is as follows: Player Name GP G A P +/- SHT % SB F.Rodriguez 24 12 29 41 6 12.24 69 C.Mercer 24 4 35 39 22 6.56 48 T. Hynes 24 6 32 38 18 10.00 50 B. Velvet 22 18 17 35 6 10.91 35 As you can see, Mercer is still shooting well below average but we still expect that to pick up and with that, his goal tally increase. Black Velvet is still in the lead for defensemen goals and that is a stat that we expect him to lead in throughout the entirety of the season. This is shaping up to be a great competition and the competition only benefits the teams these guys play for. (562 words)
  17. Nice rookie profile. Looks like you've got a good player on your hands, or potentially good player anyway. Pretty much the whole section under the Durability heading was a little wonky to me. Actually, the whole 2nd sentence of that section.... " He prides himself on staying in shape to often major injuries but of course knows the muscles soreness and other knacks come with the game. " I'm not sure what you mean by "often major injuries" And "knacks" I'm thinking that's a typo. All things considered, nice rookie profile. I look forward to what he can do in the VHLM and beyond.
