and from a quick glance i think that suggests it went from Labatte to Heidt (who only played 6 seasons), possibly via Walser. Think it's guesswork before that but Slobodzian, then Campbell would make sense. Not that you can interview any of them.

I had an inclination that Western Europe would finally bring home the Gold. I don't remember us winning it since we did back in the 40s with me and @sterling as the defensive duo Phil and Jeff Hamilton. We won 2 golds in our careers. Feels good to recapture those glory days.

I stacked them in favour of Calgary players so I should get at least a couple. I had a lot of points from predictions last season so I probably won't do better this season.

celly, as in, cell phone? Probably Ricer. He'd need all the memory and processing speed to deal with us ragamuffins.

This is an impressive article indeed. To answer your question, no I did not write that HOF article LOL. Additionally, I don't recall anyone ever comparing Grimm to the next Campbell. His career started off pretty mild with a sudden defensive era of the VHL and being drafted by the New York American team that was one of the worst of all-time (affectionately known as the 'shortbus' at the time).

Because of that I think it's fair to say we should just be tagging the can't play out of position in STHS. Does STHS specify it for 5 on 5 instead of say PP? I know playing a forward on the point on the PP is actually something done in the NHL proper, and I wouldn't want to discourage putting out whatever unit you want for special teams. But 5 on 5 should be forwards at forward and D at D.

Phil used to do it back in the day and it worked well. If he's still around you can ask him about the process he followed. He pretty much had a PM conversation with them and helped answer any questions they had when they first joined.

We are looking to hire more. The trickiness is that while the size of the league has grown as has the requirement of moderators. Gen chat alone for an hour is probably triple what the mods of old had to deal with for a full day. Therefore hiring good mods to do the job means mods have high requirements which makes it hard to find people to do the job.

 

Anyway, we're working on it; both by looking at rule changes and by hiring more hands.

Well it needs to be better moderated then. This isn't the first time we've had issues with it. No members should be feeling uncomfortable regardless of where the discourse is taking place.

How/why are there only 3 moderators for a forum that has grown so much? We used to have more mods back when the forum was a tenth of the size.
