Josh reacted to hylands in a new adventure for jebediah big ol doinks in amish
on the island of saint lucia, after a hard day of smoking loud, star hockey player jebediah big ol doinks in amish made the decision to take his talents to the big city of houston. however, this decision didn't come easy for jebediah. there were many questions to be asked first. questions like, will there be any big ol doinks for him to smoke in houston? how will he get his loud? when it's nice out will anyone ever hit his line? despite all of these burning questions, the temptation of making it big in the vhl was just too much for him to pass up.
"im pretty excited to see what kind of loud they have in houston, i've heard lots of good things about this city."
jebediah has never been one to put in the most amount of effort in practice or eat healthy to keep up with his fitness, and he arrives in houston with only his equipment and big ol doinks. it will be a big step up for him, but he is confident in his abilities. the team is looking great on paper and the entire roster is looking forward to what this season will have in store for them.

INDEX
@VHLE GM It's that time again! Please review your rosters to make sure they look good. Sims start on Friday (early evening) so make sure you have your lines in well before that.
<Copypasta on how to do lines>
To send in your lines please use the Team Management section of the portal. The process for downloading the client file and using STHS to make your lines is still the same, and if you have manual requests due to waiver pick-ups or other roster changes please PM me your notes through Discord.
<End>
I will try to catch any FA pick-ups before Friday and add them to the Index if time permits, please DM to let me know just to be sure.
STHS Client 3.3.7 is the most up-to-date version, please check and update your client if required.
I think that covers it, best of luck everyone. I'll be pinging the VHLE Sim Alert role on Discord before each sim so make sure you're signed up for that.

Josh reacted to Beketov in Thoughts on killing the lotto tournament?
Personally I can live with these odds. I’d like to get a consensus here and get this announced before season start.

Josh got a reaction from jacobcarson877 in Formal (Updated and Accessible) Staff List
The staff page is, for the most part, auto-generated based on the forum roles that each user has. We can likely just remove old commissioners from the list and keep them in a separate role to clean things up.

Josh got a reaction from Gustav in Moderation and the Needs of the Community
This was the longest read to make minuscule steps toward any form of policy. This is what I have so far:
---
Mods get the same rights as every other member to take part in and contribute to the community.
Mods are expected to be examples of good community members.
Mods will receive punishment in line with what other members receive given the same level of offense.
Mods can not use their additional power in the community over another member in a way that isn't directly handing out punishment (reactive).
The COC is not and will never be exhaustive. Mods will need to work as a group (with Commissioners) to determine if actions that appear to be detrimental to the community should receive punishment and be codified.
---
Mods aren't held to a higher standard for rules but are going to be under way more scrutiny than the average user, there's nothing that we could do about that.
Ban evading and aiding ban evasion is clearly a mod issue, but... given that the user was a GM it is fair to include the commissioners in a discussion. It should now be added to the Code of Conduct so people are more aware.
To summarize the AJ issue: was Fong an asshat? Yes. Did he harass AJ? Doesn't seem like it. Also, why the fuck is that thread locked?
