  1. if anyone has it I would bet on @gorlab
  2. 1.) How do you think Ottawa did in the draft? Any hits or misses? The draft was a smashing success. Expected top guys joining the club as well as some sleeper picks that will really surprise people, I think we're in for a solid season. 2.) Do you think the VSN covered the draft well? What would you improve? It felt like a world-class event, even though the draft for the big leagues was the very next day! 3.) What do you think of our current roster? I think we may need to tighten up defensively. Whether that's pulling in someone specifically to fill that roll, or having everyone pitch in, I'm not sure yet. 4.) What do you think of the Lynx LR? I'm typically pretty quiet but I like the general mood that the team keeps. 5.) What are your goals for the season? Contend for the rookie scoring race. 6.) Way to early predictions. Who do you think is going to win the cup this season? Some feline-based team that probably hangs out in the nation's capital. 7.) What do you think the team could improve upon? As I said before, I think we need to work on our defense together. 8.) Tell me something the GM and AGM should know about you? I prefer to keep my secrets.

  5. Be fun to play on the team and help GM, I'll apply!
  6. https://www.photopea.com/ This is an in-browser Photoshop alternative. It has basically replicated all of Photoshop's features. You can even upload existing .psds. I'd recommend this over GIMP for sure.
  7. https://vhlforum.com/topic/63733-live-s68-draft-class-rankings/ Think that would have all available, not sure though.
  8. 1. Where are you and what are you doing? I am in Las Vegas, eagerly awaiting tomorrow's VHLM draft! I've been training incredibly hard and can't wait to see where I'll end up this year. 2. Who is your favorite fictional hero? James Bond without a doubt. Smart and tough, always has a way in and a way out. 3. What is your greatest fear? Not being remembered. 4. Tell us a secret about yourself? I was named after my grandfather's pet toad. 5. How would you like to be remembered? As being the greatest Welsh hockey player ever, and one of the greatest in the world.
  9. Review: I think this is definitely an improvement from the last one I saw of yours. I can tell that you're trying new things and I hope you continue to experiment and improve! I agree with what Motza said, and I'll add that I'd like to see you try to add some stocks on top of the render/text. That would really help bring the entire piece together. Keep at it!
  10. Review: Everything that Motza said is bang on. I'll add that I like the effects you did with the text, but a different font may work better, or at least making it smaller. I really like the background, nice smudge work. The only thing that's really wrong here is the focal, the eye is drawn too much to the text and not enough to the render.
  11. Review: Nicely executed. The face does look a little odd but I like the commitment to the colour scheme. The snow/sparkle lighting effects are really nice, and the composition of the cover is well done. Nice work!
  12. Review: This is pretty sweet. The torn effect is cool, but I think it would've been better without the drop shadow. Text actually works really well, and I like the background and pattern work. Lighting is nice. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
  13. Review: I agree with everything Motz added above. I'm not sure what software you're using, but I'd like to see a few more elements put into the graphic next time. Try overlaying different "stocks" i.e. images that can create different effects on top of the signature. Things with lots of contrast or interesting lighting are usually great starting points. Let me know if you have any questions, and keep at it.
  14. Review: I'm a sucker for geometric effects. Font works well with the sig, and I like the unique colour scheme. It does seem a little low-contrast but I think it works here. Nice work!
  15. Review: Welcome to the graphics world! In the beginning just work on experimenting and trying new things without trying to perfect anything. I dig the contrast effect between the player and the background. The text doesn't really fit with the look. Everything is clean apart from the text. Look around the forum for inspiration and resources, and keep working at it!
  16. Review: This has a few elements that I really like. The overall colour scheme is consistent and executed well. I would have liked to see the light source at the top right blended in a bit more. Maybe set it on Soft Light or Overlay. I like the clipping mask on the text. Good work overall, keep at it.
  17. A colon can be used to introduce an item or list when it follows an independent clause. “Or move to Cardiff and make a risk.” has an implied subject, as the preceding clauses gave the context that the subject was my player.
  18. Thanks for reading. Neither of those are incomplete sentences, though.
