I have probably been one of the most outspoken members advocating for changes like these since I joined. This is what a step forward for the VHL looks like and I am super happy our BOD was able to take a step in the right direction   you get a rare BladeMaiden high five boys!!

1. Moscow is off to a decent start. Who on the team has really stepped it up this season?
 
Everyone has done their part in the offseason to improve on the areas we needed to improve, overall, everyone has a part in this good improvement from last season to this season.
 
2. Who are our biggest competition in Europe this season and why?
 
Helsinki of course, they have a really good lineup.
 
3. If you could be the head coach for a sim, would you make any changes to our lines/lineup?
 
I totally trust Victor on sim lineup, he knows a ton more than me.
 
5. What team do you think is going to be the #1 NA seed and why?
 
Seattle will definitely be a big team this season, they have a really strong core and they have a good start this season.
 
8. Did you know patpou22 does photography as a hobby? What kind of hobbies are you into, off of the ice?
 
I like to take some pictures in my free time indeed, but I like to play some CHEL too, having a few games with some friends is always fun.
 
9. Have you made any player store purchases this season? Are you saving up for any particular purchase?
 
I didn't buy anything yet, I'm saving that for my old days.

It wouldn’t surprise anyone that the newest addition to the Reapers Cinnamon Block has been gathering quite a lot of attention both on and off the ice from both players and fans alike. Cinna or Cin, nicknames given to her by her new teammates has been described as a caramel skinned goddess who looks as delicious as her name sounds. Her biggest fan seems to be Goalie Fang flashback, who has been seen “accidentally” entering the female dressing rooms on numerous occasions. Cinna even at one point had to ask fellow defence man Condor Adrienne if Fan was also new to the team because he seems to get lost so often. Adrienne replied by saying “Fang is just special like that and when I say special, I mean they have an alternative version of the Olympics for someone who has his level of brain damage.”
Rumor is that fang made room next to himself on the bus for Cinna but the rest of the team genuinely concerned for her safety intervened causing a bus wide brawl that left many players injured for their last game against the Yukon, wich is probably why they lost! Seems like things just goy interesting in the Reapers Crypt and playoffs haven’t even started!

1 1/2 - 2 pounds boneless skinless, chicken thighs (most of the fat cut and discarded) 1/2 cup Dijon mustard (must be Dijon mustard, no substitutes) 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (again, no substitutes. No fake Aunt Jemima stuff) 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar,seasoned or unseasoned 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 tablespoon cornstarch 2 teaspoon fresh rosemary for garnish  
 
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 8x8" oven-proof pan with 2 layers of tin foil. In small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, maple syrup, rice wine vinegar, salt and pepper. Place the chicken thighs in the foil layered pan then pour the mixture on top of it. Turn the chicken around in the sauce to make sure it gets all coated. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let chicken sit for 5 minutes then transfer to a plate. Do NOT discard the liquid. Immediately after plating chicken, whisk in the 1 tbsp. of cornstarch into the liquid in the pan. You'll create a nice, thick sauce to drizzle over your chicken. You need to do cornstarch mixing immediately because the liquid needs to be hot in order for it to thicken properly. If it's still not thickening after 1 tbsp., you can add a little more. Sprinkle rosemary on top before serving.   Could be good, guys. @BladeMaiden maybe you. 

It can definitely look better to the eye, with some bolding of the headings and a picture at the top.
 
This part I'm fine with. It's a little player summary before the bulk of the Rookie Profile. You can summarize your player however you want, really....as long as it's hockey related or at least somewhat.
 
The Pros are obviously out of left field for a goaltender, but I don't see any big reason why you can't write those as pros for a goalie. It's just a role playing thing anyways. Most Rookie Profiles are more or less the same, so yours has some more originality for sure. I don't care if you write that a goalie has a 105mph slap shot. That can be a pro if you want it to be. Obviously it's pretty irrelevant for a goaltender most of the time, but this stuff is all made up anyways.
 
You're missing a con as well, which is part of the guidelines to have 3 pros and 3 cons. The brief info about height, weight, hometown etc should be in there too but it's not bad.
 
An RP is a once per career thing, so I'd definitely make sure it's up to par with the guidelines at the very least. Everything else you can have fun with it.

No need to argue, you two. It's a league for fun. I'd edit in some of that little info that are in the guidelines just to top this thing off, otherwise it's fine with me.

This is the issue with reviews; that being said most people are respectable on how they go about providing criticism. Really no need to be this offensive towards someone else's written material. @uphillmoss try to move past this nonsense buddy and keep up your players rp the way you want. Its a sim league, we can portray our players in whatever way we want. We’ve literally had players claiming to be from other planets. It’s more fun to read when its edgy and such. Nothing wrong with separating from the cookie cutter layout.

1-The Song you listen to to get hyped on your way to a game?
I need to listen to either Beastie Boys - Sabotage or to something like Van Halen - Panama, both are great songs and both can easily pump your blood super fast!
2-Is it hard for you to find skates you like, do you go skate shopping alone or do you trust the trainer to take care of it?
Well, I am extremely picky with my skates, I need to have them not only the right colour but they have to the precise design I want. I consider buying skates like getting married - you want to find the right ones because going through the whole "I want new ones" is not worth it.
3-Do you believe in luck? If so do you have a lucky object that you associate with playing Hockey?
A bit, I consider that luck is a part of everyday life at least a little bit. I do have a lucky object it is called "Wiener Statue of Liberty" - it is my good omen thing I keep in my hockey duffle. 
8-Are you most likely to break out into singing or dancing or are you running to hide in a corner?
Oh, this one is super simple - I love to sign, even though I sound like a group of cats fighting dogs in a woodcutters shack.

Hah, what do you mean the oddest thing? I am not sure what you are talking about. Leave me alone!

True Value Of Season 65Goalies in the VHL
As the results of the first few games of Season 65 roll in and knowing that the fantasy draft still in progress for many site members, you must all be asking yourselves the same question. Who is going to be the best goalie in the VHL? Even if we look at the past to help us to trying to predict the future it may be hard to truly see the values in each of these spectacular goalies. Someone like @SonnetAlexander Pepper who was on the 2nd place team last season and whose tpe and stats speak for themselves, he is certainly a contender for top goalie. Roger sterling has been consistently good and there are murmurings that this will be the year that @Banackock is able to claim the cup. Some goalies value may not be obvious to the casual onlooker like Joe Nixon @Bonzaijoe who is steadily earning tpe and preparing to be the next generation of Vancouver starter goalie.  Another example of this is Justin Cole @WhiteMochawho was called up to the Majors with 160 tpe and who is killing it in net for Moscow (good call @Victor)! To help provide a less typical way of looking at these crease jockeys I have provided an image below.

Obviously after studying this image how could you not find Value in any one of these amazing goalies. I guess the answer to the title of this article is that each of these goalies is an important piece for their team who will help determine where they finish this season.
