    Hello, hello. Long weekend is finally here and I am working. That's okay. I get next Wednesday off for the stat which gives me a 5 day off haul. Exciting times. Plan to cut the lawn, do yard work, spray down the tree (which is finally blooming and coming to life), start the garden and all of that fun stuff. Maybe If I am lucky I'll be able to get out and do some fishing. I've also started working out and let me tell you... incredibly sore on certain days... Chest was pretty good but Triceps and Legs were a mother fucker, ahah.. Second rotation of back and biceps today and the work out I didnt care for last week was actually my favorite today (reverse bar bell curl).. Anyway, let's blab, ok??

    Bears keep rolling. VERY minor tweak for one of the first times this season for lines... paired some guys together who asked to give it a try... also need to get those back up games in... I'm slowly creeping up on 1,400 wins.. sitting at 1,374!! HSK is making things interesting in the EU. London, Prague and Warsaw all in a tight race. Always fun and exciting to be part of those... each sim matters and is more electrifying. Fully expect Seattle to be on fire all regular season.. be the team to beat.. and lose in the secon round or whatever to a team that couldn't even be .500 hockey lmao.

    The end. Have a good weekend!

    It's been a long time on the Victory Hockey League and while it feels longer than it probably is, my bones still ache from time to time and I do think I'm one of the more older guys still on here based off league average. Of course nothing comparing to the likes of @Beketov or anyone like that! However, it has been a long time and for about half the leagues life I think! On top of that, I've been the Seattle Bears GM for 35 seasons and counting and a lot of memories have come from that (probably most of my memories). I've been very committed to the role over the years and knowing my time is closer than it is far (and I need to write anything to get it over with), I figured I'd do some reflecting to cherish the fun moments and members I've come across over the triple and a half VHL decades as the Seattle Bears General Manager.

    #1 - The First Cup Win in S68
    The Seattle Bears team just woke up from a smaller rebuild and were fresh off a massive draft. The S67 draft was thicker than peanut butter and the Bears capitalized on getting good picks and very excellent scouting/drafting for the most part. Imagine if that one dude with the wrestler profile picture had turned out too... he was promising but never kept his promise. The Bears had a good enough season in S68 to make it the finals and we managed to go all the way. The Bears found themselves tied 2-2 in the first round against the Toronto Legion. I remember telling the Bears we'd be making some minor tweaks on lines. Some GM's wouldn't do that. You're getting good results. Things were relatively split and even, but that was the problem for me. Odds would point we'd win, but I wasn't satisfied with taking the chance on a stronger maybe. We made changes and ended up winning the next 10 games. We beat Toronto 4-2, Calgary 4-0 and ended up sweeping the Malmo Nighthawks 4-0 which surprised a bunch of people as well. Looking back in the locker room on ont he forum and all of that, things exploded. We went absolutely bonkers and it was almost unlike anything I've ever experienced on here before... the championships after were very crazy too... we had a good group of people in @Esso2264 YVONNE, @DoktorFunk, @Rayzor_7 @Acydburn @HenrikZoiderberg  @ShawnGlade @FrostBeard@Smarch and two of my players - and a couple of other guys that didn't chat as much! Either way, it was an amazingly put together team and a very fun time for us!

    Winning cups with Seattle has been a ton of fun and in saying that, we've had our share of fun over the last while. However, winning hasn't been absolutely everything in this role and other things and moments have been extremely special too. I've already hit word count this week (thank you, VHL gods), but actually found this fun to reflect on and do scientific research on. TUNE in next week (or don't), to see what else I be reflecting on. Sorry, Around the League with Bana, but we curbing you for a tiny bit. Good thing I got a lot of ideas on the good though. Been a struggle last few months.

    Rayzor_7 reacted to Spartan in VHL.com that becomes my PT for the week
    As the title says, I need a PT this week - but my head is empty and I can't think of a topic to write 500 words on. Therefore, I have created this in the VHL.com section, so naturally I will end up well over the word count as @N0HBDY used to roast me for. Anyways let's get to it!

    Obviously anyone who reads the forums would have noticed a couple points of drama this week, but the more relevant one to me was @jRuutu's article discussing the Helsinki Titans management group of @Rayzor_7 and @Mr_Hatter. I'm just tagging folks so I don't get yelled at down the line . Overall it was an interesting piece, very openly blunt about what Helsinki has experienced over the course of the season so far, albeit without much tact or decorum. I always enjoy Ruutu's pieces because of the sort of controversial factor, or the fact that he is the voice of some more extreme opinions that people think, but don't necessarily say because they don't fully agree. His pieces about the meta and Vancouver were good examples of those. Overall though, I would like to touch on points made in his piece because I want to.

    One big reason I even was willing to trade myself to Helsinki was because of the masterclass performance of Rayz to rebuild the organization and stockpile a ridiculous amount of draft picks and prospects after the Jubo era. People complain about his activity on the forums or in the main server, but it's difficult to say that he hasn't excelled at the roster management component of being a GM. The moves made last offseason shot Helsinki into a contending position to surround Xavier Booberry with quality talent.

    I think Hatter mentioned that he hadn't been looking at the results much, but he has never really been an AGM who is very involved in results or roster management - moreso an advisor and LR presence, especially in the M. Rayz however has at the least, commented on sims relatively frequently so this isn't really accurate at all.

    Admittedly, this was something that frustrated me as well, because we had a lot of bots playing minutes. However, one big reason for this was because we didn't have a second center on the roster, or another player with FO, so Ori was getting double shifted across the PP/PK which obviously capped him out. We resolved it by agreeing to add FO to Nico, effectively making him 2C. Lines were changed after that. However we still had bots playing significant minutes on the PP due to double shifting across lines, and it did take some time to get that changed, I think until the 10th or 11th sim. Not ideal, but at least the changes happened with plenty of time left in the season. We had the most recent conversation on 4/30 about it and the change was made on 5/1, so it did happen relatively quickly, but after what felt like 3-4 sims without the changes being asked for.

    Regarding backup games, we had a pretty open discussion in the LR whether playing the bot = guaranteed loss, and how to sort of coordinate that. We didn't really feel like there were any optimal backup goalie games outside like LA, but there was a bit of an agreement that we shouldn't have backup games against teams in our division. Unfortunately we seemed to have had one against Warsaw who was ahead of us in the standings that we lost, which seems to be what led to Ruutu's anger. I get it though, and Hatter acknowledged it, guess everyone will be aware of it in the future now. Sometimes those kinds of "boots in the ass" are necessary to really learn the lesson.

    Obviously a big concern, especially since my desire is to play for a contending team. If we can't re-sign the big players or if we don't replace them if some walk into FA, then it's a tough position for me to be in. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose, but Rayz is aware of the need for urgency and I trust he'll do what needs to be done.

    Lol, I don't give a flying fuck about press conferences. We have enough other secondary tasks to do, and you can write pressers yourself. Also the questions are not shit, just not to everyone's liking apparently. Do some other team's presser in this case, you think the media asks players what they want to be asked either? This is the one main portion that I laugh at and think it was wholly unnecessary to make a big deal about.

    Honestly, I don't even know. GM's have only been replaced recently if they go IA, otherwise they just step down when they burn out. Sometimes they have already let the team go to ruins by that point, but I can't recall any VHL GM getting outright fired. Even egregious rules violations recently have just gotten a slap on the wrist, so we'll see.

    I think there is competition but not a plethora of qualified candidates as there used to be before the E's implementation. We also risk losing qualified GM's in the E/M if everyone with a brain and enough free time to waste on Discord is in the VHL. Recruitment, do your thing.

    Shit, that's pretty late man. We shall see!

    Overall, I see the frustrations and understand some components of it. Other portions, I think are ridiculous to complain about, like the pressers. We're obviously not performing to expectations, and that comes across the board. Booberry has put up some horrendous performances, the skaters scored like 1 goal per game for like 6-7 games in a row. Like we're not happy about that, we want to be in a playoff spot and challenging the leaders of the EU. I'm not here to waste my time or effort, and neither should anyone else. I don't support removing Rayz from his role, as long as he continues to do his job to the team's collective appreciation. I don't foresee that changing unless there's gross mismanagement, which we will likely deal with internally first

    While I do appreciate the support, me working for VSN probably shouldn't be a part of this conversation in the sense that if it's interfering with my ability to complete AGM duties then I should resign from one or the other; the league doesn't need people doing two jobs half-assed, when there are more than enough people interested in learning management.

    That being said, whether or not the level at which I was performing my duties constitutes being half-assed could be up for debate haha.

    @jRuutu feel free to ping me next time you want to talk shit.

    If you have a problem with how things are being run, there are productive ways about raising concerns that don't insult and demean people. I personally welcome critique, and I understand there are legitimate criticisms about how things have been going recently. However, a few points to make about your call outs, just to clarify a few things for you, to provide some nuance in your understanding.

    Probably somewhat valid; we haven't been completely on top of every single event in the sim, and I am sure there are teams with more active GMs. Of course, people do have lives outside of the VHL that require some amount of commitment, but you are right that we haven't been as active as possible.

    Sometimes there aren't significant tweaks to be made. Sometimes you have to let it roll. That being said, its fair to say there should have been more changes or at least reactions to the events earlier in the season.

    The backup has started 2 games this season out of 25. Once against Prague, once against Warsaw. Neither of those were good games to play the backup. I'm not sure if that was a mistake in the lines or an oversight, but yes that was not the right thing to do. However; I'm not sure I would say that "backup games with the bot are thrown in almost randomly" implying that we are just chucking multiple bot games willy-nilly is an accurate take.

    Not going to discuss contracts, as I have never been involved in offering/negotiating them as AGM. Regardless, there is a lot of time left in the season to figure out contracts.

    This one is on me; obviously it's part of my role as AGM to post regular press conferences. Over the last 4 months, I have posted 9 press conferences; just over half of what you would expect for one PC a week (about 17 weeks). I'm obviously not infallible, but that isn't completely terrible either. And more to the point, you are encouraged to take initiative and come up with press conferences yourself; after all, providing team PC's technically isn't a requirement; its an optional task for TPE. In fact, you filled in for me in a recent week, a fact which I thanked you for.

    And the way you respond, apparently, is to then follow that up with "the questions are shit"? First of all, shit by what metric? Please, inform me how much you care about the quality of the VHL's press conferences. Do you think they aren't focused enough on league events? Poorly written? Are they not in character enough to suit your kind of preferred VHL role play? Any of those could be fair points, but you refuse to make them in your post. Instead we get your lovely turn of phrase: "the questions are shit." At least come to the table with a legitimate issue.

    Valid. We have had internal talks about it, but haven't reached a conclusion; something that should have been done already.

    Don't worry, you'll be free of me at least soon enough.

    Because you really care about the health of other team's cap, rather than just trying to come up with more issues that are, in your mind, being caused by us? In reality this is a nonissue; players always sign for minimum, there either will be space or there won't be. Players are encouraged to find whatever teams have space in free agency, and the league officials with raise cap if necessary.

    If you don't think there is a lot of competition, why not apply? If you don't like how a team is being run, why not be a GM yourself? Or do you only want to acknowledge problems without coming up with solutions?

    You aren't just a player. You were one of my players. That means you are the perfect person to say something when you see an issue. If you notice a problem, try to be a part of the solution. I really appreciated you voicing your concerns about the lack of PC questions initially, though your phrasing of calling us "lazy fucks" could have been a bit more constructive.

    I have never been unapproachable; I welcome players under me and anyone in the VHL to reach out with concerns, which is something I pride myself on. Ask anyone who works with me at VSN, or a number of players I have helped manage, and while there may be some issues that people have had with me, being unapproachable isn't one of them. So, what's the reason for bringing everything up in such a manner?

    At the end of the day, toxic is as toxic does. You bring things up like this because you are an antagonistic person. You either enjoy making people's days worse, or you just have a lot of anger in your life that you are using the VHL as an outlet. I wouldn't recommend it, therapy is usually a better place for that.

    You have a lot of valid points. I know that I'm not the only GM in this team, so I'm speaking specifically from my perspective here, but I needed to be better. The VHL deserves users who are more dedicated to management than I have been, so jRuutu, you are going to achieve your goal. Effective immediately, I'm resigning from my post as Helsinki AGM. I'm tired of dealing with you, being demeaned and berated by you, and to be quite honest, I'm just tired of being involved in management as I have for the better part of two and a half years. I had a good run, and I apologize to my team and fellow manager in @Rayzor_7 that I'm dropping like this, but you did one thing right, and that is make me realize that it's time for me to step down.

    I sincerely hope that Helsinki can turn this season around, because we do have the talent. There are a lot of good members in this squad who I care about, and want to succeed. Good luck Titans 💙

    The Goalieacolypse is Here

    A few months ago I wrote about the upcoming goalie dilemma facing many VHL teams. Thanks to a banner S75 goalie draft class, there was a dearth of newly created goalies over the following couple of seasons, resulting in very few active goalies between the S76 and S78 draft classes. As a result, it meant that when those S75 draftees retired, there wouldn't be too many high TPE goalies left over.

    My friends, we are here. Welcome to the Show.

    That's your top 10 goalies in TPA entering the regular season - just eight goalies above 500 TPA in the entire league (once Utonium applies TPE) and just four above the 650 TPA mark. Three of the top four, including myself, are just entering their third VHL season by virtue of playing in the VHLE. A player in his second season will likely be fifth in goalie TPA by the time we hit the playoffs. Recent draft pick Brandt Fuhr is 13th and could be top ten by the end of the season. There's almost total turnover at the top of the goalie rankings from just last year.

    And there's an added level of intrigue that I couldn't have seen coming when I originally wrote about the goalie dilemma: This may be one of the most important seasons for goalies in VHL history. Thanks to the new updating attributes, it's assumed that scoring will be down across the board, with the advantage swinging back towards defense and goalies. How big of a difference can a top goalie make in the new paradigm? I'm very excited to find out.

    This is going to level off in a few seasons when the crop of S82, 83 and 84 goalies come into their primes. But for now, it's going to make for an interesting season or two; you can guarantee that at least two teams with sub-500 TPE goalies to start the season will make the VHL playoffs. And it'll be fun to track what this means for stats and awards as the season progresses.

    Rayzor_7 reacted to Doomsday in Toronto Legion Season 83 VHL Draft Recap
    After being hired as the new general manager of the Toronto Legion, Thomas Landry II faced his first big test as GM with the Season 83 VHL Entry Draft. Off-season developments, such as trading goaltender Boris Tsezar @comrade cat to the HC Davos Dynamo and acquiring Paul Atreides @Mr_Hatter and Aurelien Moreau @Frank from the Moscow Menace set Toronto up with a strong roster to compete with in Season 83, while also providing the team with seven picks in a Season 84 VHL Entry Draft anticipated to be loaded with talent. But before Landry II could look too far ahead, the Season 83 VHL Entry Draft loomed, in which Toronto still had three selections, including seventh overall. With the loss of promising prospects such as Otto Numminen @Otto Numminen to sudden retirement, along with the activity of Harkat Mulds @hylands and George Sanderson @SpicyGecko dropping off, hitting on their first round pick would be absolutely essential to any future success for the Toronto Legion.

    However, Landry II had gotten himself a nice head start on preparations. As the assistant general manager, he had started with scouting and interviewing prospects more than a week before officially being named the general manager of Toronto, leaving nothing to chance. With early priorities seeming to lean towards selecting a forward, Toronto was tied to top forward prospects such as Scotty Sundin @fromtheinside, Igor Molotov @Dom, Leandro Goncalves @leandrofg, Ivan Retoslav @eagle_3450, and Tomas Sogaard @Brandon, with Landry II quite pleased with each interview. However, with the activity of George Sanderson dropping off, resulting in Aurelien Moreau coming over in a trade, the need for a blue liner for the future ramped up, and Landry II needed to take a harder look at defense prospects.

    Despite interviewing Hammer Voss @BUM, Ryuji Sakamoto @der meister, and AirRig GoodSunBrand @Rhynex Entertainment, it initially seemed like Siyan Yasilievich @badcolethetitan would be the one available at seventh overall, and after an interview that left Landry II convinced this was the right pick and fit for the Toronto Legion, the matter seemed sealed. However, Yasilievich had similarly endeared themselves to Alex Johnston @Alex and the HC Davos Dynamo, who went slightly off the board and selected Yasilievich fourth overall. With GoodSunBrand going fifth overall to the Calgary Wranglers, it ensured that either Hammer Voss or Ryuji Sakamoto would drop to Toronto at 7th overall. With Frank Funk @Rayzor_7 unable to resist letting Hammer Voss drop any further, all the guesswork was removed for Landry II and the Toronto Legion, as there was no hesitation on their selection: Ryuji Sakamoto. A defensive defenseman that isn't afraid to play the body, this is the type of blue liner that Oskar Lindbergh surely can't wait to have protecting the net.

    Having satisfied the pressing need for a blue chip defenseman prospect, Toronto's next pick would not come until the 25th overall pick in the second round. Having scouted prospects such as PJ Daniels @xNJDevilsFanx and Justin Adolfsen @NJDevils24, there was little chance at them falling to 25th, and it did not happen. However, there was one prospect that Landry II had been eyeing all along: Calen McKay, represented by legendary VHL builder @Kendrick. With a vast pedigree of success in the VHL, McKay's work ethic and promise made him an attractive option for Landry II. Amazingly, McKay made it all the way to 25th overall for Toronto, and again Toronto did not have to hesitate to make the selection, and the Legion added another quality talent to their prospect pool.

    Waiting from 7th to 25th was a long ordeal, but it paled until their next selection: 55th overall, in the fourth round. Late round selections are all about finding value and potential, and despite the fact that Season 84's draft is being touted as the deeper class, there were still several gems waiting in the final round of the Season 83 VHL Entry Draft. While Toronto was hoping to acquire a back-up goaltender after moving Boris Tsezar earlier in the off-season, Zack Gagnon @InstantRockstar had the same idea, selecting Cory Evans @Spaceium to the Los Angeles Stars' prospect pool at 54th overall, just one selection before Toronto. However, Landry II was prepared, and had another prospect in mind: forward Alexandre Forgues @Alex99. Despite not taking the ice in Season 82, Forgues continued to work on improving themselves, and became the fourth round selection for the Toronto Legion, along with a seventh round selection by the Geneva Rush of the VHLE. Forgues was drafted by the Ottawa Lynx in the Season 83 VHLM Dispersal Draft, and will be reporting there to officially begin his VHL career. But if his appearance at team facilities this week is any indication, this is a prospect that's going to continue to work hard and take aim at reaching the VHL one day. Not bad at all for a fourth round selection at all.

    Even after the VHL Draft was over, however, there was more work to be done. Team scouts had informed Landry II of a prospect to keep an eye on in the fourth round, however, it turned out this player went undrafted, and was available as an undrafted free agent. Despite going undrafted, the player returned to practice, perhaps the reason they had gone unnoticed to begin with, and it was all the motivation that Toronto needed to make their move. Once free agency discussions officially began, Landry II contacted Brodie Landry III @Brodie_Landry (no relation), and an agreement was quickly reached. Although he wasn’t drafted, Brodie Landry III became the fourth Season 83 prospect to join the Toronto Legion, which in my eyes counts enough as a draft addition. Slated to play with the San Diego Marlins of the VHLM in Season 83, Landry III now has the opportunity to continue to work on his skills while working their way towards reaching the VHL with the Toronto Legion.

    With uncertainty in Toronto's future, it was imperative for Landry II to deliver with the Season 83 VHL Entry Draft, and early signs are very promising. Ryuji Sakamoto is a player that Toronto was thrilled to get at seventh overall that should make a big impact both on and for the team in upcoming seasons. Calen McKay is a player with a lot of potential, and with Paul Atreides not getting any younger, he could wind up being an important piece of the puzzle in the Legion's future. Alexandre Forgues and Brodie Landry III are both players who fell deep (or in Landry III's case, off of) the draft board, but still could factor into Toronto's long-term plans if they stick with it. All in all… it's an off-season to be happy with for Toronto.

    Rayzor_7 reacted to ROOKIE745 in My 1500+ TPE Dream Team!!
    So I have to admit when I saw the theme for this week I was pretty excited, well in the sense that it shouldn't be to difficult. I have been working on a series where I cover players that have crossed the 1500 TPE threshold and so far I've covered 16 players in it, recently Gustav's player Taro Tsujimoto passed 1500 giving me a 26th player to cover and I could see a 27th player making it before the series is done to, but that's not why we're here. A lot of lists tend to give themselves a stipulation to follow, in mine it's simple, they must have crossed 1500 TPE to be eligible for this list, that's it. With that let's get started!! (So I just realized something, I was going through all 26 players and realized that none of them are right wingers, so gonna break my 1500 TPE rule for that slot)

    Center: Podrick Cast
    @Victor

    My pick for center is Podrick Cast, a 1935 TPE player who never fell below a point per game and had four 100 point season, even in his worst season he still had 80 points and he never failed to score less than 33 goals or 47 assists, who wouldn't take a player that guarantees you that many goals and points a season? His 174 point season is still one of the best in the league, tied for second best if read the list correctly, he had 79 goals and 95 assists that season and won four awards that season. His other 100 points seasons consist of 46 or more goals and 54 or more assists. His regular season career numbers 379 goals, 467 assists, and 846 points. While his numbers do fall a little flat in the playoffs, or at least aren't what you'd expect from a player of his level he still was always chipping in and usually at a point per game in the playoffs. Cast is just a guy you can count on for points and he never failed in that regard.

    Left Winger: Gabriel McAllister
    @CowboyinAmerica

    McAllisters career was one of my favorites to read up on and look at in my series and there's just no way he doesn't make this list. A player from the S56 draft he might have very well been the first guy to break 1600 TPE. Like Cast McAllister never fell below a point per-game in his career, and again never failed to score at least 80 points in a season. While he only has three 100 point season two of them are above 120 points and he has two seasons that ended at 99 points. His goal scoring ability was one of the best, only failing to score 40 or more goals one time, at the one time he was at 39. He has five seasons with 50 or more goals scored and would always get you a minimum of 41 assists. His regular season totals saw him end with just three goals shy of 400, 429 assists and 826 points. He won awards in almost every season he played in, S54-S56, S58-S61, and S63. And it doesn't stop there, he was a beast in the playoffs to, in S59 he scored 28 points in 16 games, including 11 goals. S61 he had 23 points in 14 games, 12 of them goals. His playoff number are just great, 44 goals, 48 assists, 92 points in 62 playoff games. Yea Gabriel easily earns my pick for left winger.

    Right Winger: Justin Lose
    @youloser1337

    So I had to break my rule here as none of the 26 players above 1500 TPE are right wingers, I went with a player who could end up passing 1500 TPE, and that's Justin Lose who at the time of writing this sits at 1409 TPE. Trust me I'm confused to, how in the hell are none of the current 26 players that have passed 1500 TPE right wingers? I don't know but Lose could become the first to pass to do so. So far in his career the right winger has never failed to score less than 23 goals or 35 assists. He has passed a point per game three times so far during his career and is looking to do it a fourth time this season with 59 points in 50 games. Last season was his best with 142 points, 72 goals and 70 assists. While he may never repeat that he's still be a great player, his current career totals are 255 goals, 288 assists for 543 points, I'd say he has a chance at ending with over 700 points, it's pretty slim though. He did win four awards in S81 for that amazing season. In the playoffs he's been pretty good to, 18 points in 15 games across all of his appearances, 10 of this points came in six games in S81, five goals and assists. I hope youloser1337 will push Lose to getting over 1500 TPE to have the first right winger over that mark.

    Defenseman #1: Roque Davis
    @Josh

    For my blue liners I'm going with two d-man that ended just one TPE apart and both played against each other two for a number of seasons. Roque Davis sits at 1628 TPE and had four seasons at or above a point per game, including one season over 100 points. His 103 point season saw him record 86 helpers and 17 goals. He won eight awards and earned 572 points over his career, 144 goals and 428 assists. Every season he blocked 125 or more shots and ended with 1133 in total, he threw 1185 hits over his eight seasons. You could count on Davis for at least 12 goals each season and had 25 goals his his rookie season, he was a great passer to with seven seasons of 40 or more assists. He was a big playoff performer to, having 64 points over 52 games, in S75 he had 10 goals and 26 points in 17 games, in S76 he was an assist per game with 14 and 15 overall points, and in S77 he had 13 assists, 16 points in 12 games. A great blue liner.

    Defenseman #2: Condor Adrienne
    @OrbitingDeath

    My second pick for my blue line is Condor Adrienne who finished at 1629 TPE, eighth overall on that TPE list. Adrienne was a guy who seemed to get better as he got over, the second half of his career saw him get over a point per game each time when he had failed to do that in his first four seasons, he had two 100 point seasons in that back half to. Condor threw 200 plus hits in seven of his eight seasons and has 1144 career blocked shots. In his best 110 point season he scored 28 goals and 82 helpers, although his other 100 point season, where he finished on 100 on the dot saw him get a career high 35 goals and get 65 assists. Overall during the course of his career, he finished two points she of 600, got 156 into the back of the net, and had 442 helpers. Much like his regular season he was more dangerous in the second half, making it to the post six times his last three times were amazing. 18 points in 12 games, 13 points in 9 games, and 18 points in 19 games, each time getting over 10 assists. Overall he finished with 69 points in 66 games, 14 goals and 55 assists. Oh ya he also won awards through S72-S75, easy pick for the blue line.

    Goaltender: Rayz Funk
    @Rayzor_7

    Finally we get to the goaltender, my favorite position, I was tempted to pick my own goalie, in fact in a previous theme week that I think was dream team focused I did, but I wanted to go with one of the best GM's I ever played under and one of the best goalies that Hexy got to play against. Rayz Funk sits at 1512 TPE and has three seasons above 40 wins. His best season record wise was 41-15-4 and that season he finished with .921 save percentage and 2.48 GAA along with 6 shutouts. His best save percentage in a season was .923 with 8 shutouts which he accomplished twice actually, he had a career low 2.25 GAA that season and a record of 39-22-4. Funk won five trophies during his career and captured the Continental cup fours times all with Seattle. Regular season career wise he's 294-179-40, .917 save percentage, 2.56 GAA and 36 shutouts. In the playoffs almost every season his numbers where fantastic, .935, .924, .926, .937, .902, and .936. Besides the .902 those are all amazing number and his career playoff save percentage is .930 and his GAA is 2.09. Overall record wise it's 55-20-10 with 7 shutouts.

    There you go, my dream team of almost all over 1500 TPE players, only breaking the rule because I didn't want to choose a left winger or center as my right winger. If you add up all these TPE number together you get 9,426 total, that's a high TPE team.

    ''First of all, I would like to address the rumors that suggest I'm a locker room cancer by saying I'm officially terminating my invitation to play in Calgary Wranglers. I have accepted the invitation to play in Helsinki Titans. Even though they call themselves the Titans, I appreciate that they look like gladiators. Furthermore, undergarment status being optional suggests that I can freely express myself on the ice, which implies a positive start to the upcoming season. I want to say thanks to Calgary Wranglers for the last few years. Trading me next to a loose cannon country like Russia might not sound ideal to some, but I welcome the opportunity, and for that I'm grateful''.
