    VHLiens,

I humbly present ~2GB worth of stock graphics. There are no renders, psd's, fonts, brushes, gradients, or any shit like that. This is a raw brick of pure stock work.

I've compiled most of these over several years of casual google image searching along with a selection of stocks from sim leaguers who came before me. Salute to @BPH and @boubabi who helped pave the way for sim league gfx designers like myself by sharing their knowledge and resources in the past. I hope this G-pack might motivate some young sig god out there in the VHL universe, like their stock packs motivated me years ago.

Tips for making sigs/gfx on PS:
Cut out your own player use the pen tool for best results First thing I always do is duplicate the player layer the Image > Adjustments > Desaturate. Then I play with the layer effect. 'Overlay' and 'Soft Light' are my favourites. Get your BG decided upon early and roll with it Stick to 2-3 colours on your sig. Don't do more it's too messy. Give a lighting source by the head use a soft white brush on a new layer. Can also use alternative lighting sources with the other main colours. Best layer effects for these are 'screen' and 'lighten'. Play with the opacity of your layers! Download new fonts from DaFont Utilize layers with layer effects as clipping masks on your text to give it different looks Play around! Once you think you're done you're probably not so mess around with several different paths Use folders for your layers if you want to take the design in different directions or to group things so there is less clutter in your layer pane Use PS. It is superior.
I'm sure there is more, and better, tips I can give but that's all I can think of atm.

    PSD Files:
Here are a lot of my sig .psd files from S66 sigs I have made. Don't copy them they are for LEARNING purposes only to show you how I roll. Feel free to use the player cut-outs if desired.

FakeJenton reacted to 11 Eleven in Reapers' Most Important Players Heading Into Playoffs
In for a fight: Philadelphia primed to knock the opponents out.

The Reapers have enjoyed a renaissance season, following much scrutiny from GM Blade following her flurry of moves in seasons prior. These bold tactics have paid dividends for the city of Philadelphia, as the squad locked up the top record in the VHLM, setting up for what is hopefully a deep playoff run towards the cup. Philadelphia has all the pieces necessary to make a deep playoff run, but some of those pieces are more important than others. This article will highlight those players that will need to be at the top of their game if the Reapers want to be lifting the trophy up at season's end.

Kyle Sabertooth: The nineteen year old left winger from the United States has been setting the ice ablaze this season, leading the Reapers in scoring with 91 total points. He has a terrific mixture of both goal scoring and assisting, balancing the two perfectly to help lead the Reapers from the front. As a jack of all trades, Philadelphia will need him to be firing on all cylinders to lead the team from the front.

John Frostbeard: Captain Courageous of the Reapers, Frostbeard is well renowned in the Philadelphia Locker-Room for being a great team influence and leader. His play on the ice is an extension of this, leading from the front as Philadelphia's leading goal scorer with 48 goals on an impressive 13% shooting percentage, good enough for ninth in the entire VHLM. Look for Frostbeard to stay aggressive on the ice and push the puck relentlessly.

Boone Jenton: The enforcer in the Reapers lineup, Vigneault is renowned for his bone-shattering hits and his knack for getting in front of the puck and blocking shots. Add an additional 63 total points for the defenceman and you begin to see that Jenton is an all-round defender with the ability to do multiple things at an elite level. Philadelphia plays an aggressive brand of hockey and that is spearheaded from the defense of Jenton and his partner in crime Vigneault at the back.

Walter Clements: The center for the Reapers, Clements is highly regarded as a player who gets the puck to guys in position to succeed. He leads Philadelphia in total assists, as well as managing to come up with an impressive 148 hits to boot. He is a true two way player and a good barometer for how the Reapers are going over the course of a game. If Clements is playing well, gaining extra possessions and playing up front aggressively, then Philadelphia is in an excellent position to do well in the contest.

GM Blade: Above all else, Blade has proven herself as an exceptional GM, with the foresight and guts to be able to pull off questionable (at the time) trades in order to set the Reapers up for future success. Her game-planning will be critical come playoff time as the Reapers look to make a deep push and finally get their hands on that VHLM Cup.

While there are still many question marks over Philadelphia entering the playoffs, they are in a prime position to succeed given the depth and quality of their squad. Only time will tell if their fairy-tale season will result in glory or defeat.

FakeJenton got a reaction from BladeMaiden in Late Season Additions Preparing Reapers For Deep Playoff Push
The Philadelphia Reapers put the rest of the VHLM on notice when they aggressively entered the trading pool towards the end of this season. At the time there were debates on whether or not making those moves would pan out for the Reapers, however after seeing them lock up the top spot ending the season with a six game winning streak, it is hard to find any fault with the actions of the front office as they approached the trade deadline.

Let us recap the trades in question before we move on, for those who may not know. The first late season trade the Reapers pulled off was to send Rhys Chism over to San Diego, in return they recieved a S67 SDM 2nd round pick, S67 OTT 4th round pick, and center Scotty BigShotty. This could have been seen as the Reapers dishing off one of their top guys doing their best to develop some depth in the upcoming season, which would have been right, but the Reapers weren't finished there. Soon after their trade with San Diego, they engaged in three trades with Minnesota in quik succession. As we all know, Minnesota had just recently brought in some new leadership and it was expected that they were going to shake things up a bit, but nobody could have foreseen what was about to happen. The first trade between the two organizations was for Minnesota's top defenseman, Boone Jenton, which the Reapers had to part with S67 2nd round pick which originally belonged to Minnesota, as well as players Michael McConway and Tony Mac. This trade alone created quite the rumble around the league, as it became quite clear that the Reapers planned on making a late run in the upcoming playoffs and they were going to do whatever it would take to make it happen. But yet again, the Reapers weren't finished, they quickly also secured Minnesota's top offensive player Mat Tocco as well, while giving up their S67 2nd round pick as well as player Logan Swallow. At this point it was clear that the Reapers weren't messing around, and to put the final nail in that coffin they also acquired Tocco's long time friend and teammate Andrew Hawk while sending Peter Schilling to Minnesota.

While it was clear that the Reapers had added an amazing amount of talent to their already deep roster, the league was waiting to see if the gamble would pay off. Well fortunately for Philly, they didn't need to wait long as the recently added player almost immediately made their presence known. In the short time the players were on the team they had already 53 points between the four of them. Mat Tocco (7 goals, 6 assists), Scotty Bigshotty (3 goals, 4 assists), Boone Jenton (2 goals, 31 assists as well as 26 shots blocked), and Anthony Hawk who had no points but added much depth and talent to the team. It is clear that the Reapers had made the right choice.

During the time after these late-addition players were added to the team, the Philadelphia Reapers rose to the top of the standings and secured the number one seed going in to the playoffs. And ironically enough, the first team they will be playing, the team that gave all the new found talent to the Reapers, is the Minnesota Storm. It will be very interesting to see how this series plays out, but it is hard to see the Reapers not coming out of this one. We expect the Reapers won't see much of a challenge until the finals but it has become very hard to bet against them no matter who they face coming up. However, we know anything can happen come playoff time. We will be very excited to see where the Reapers end up

Season 67 Mock Draft Series | 1st Round
    Part 2: The Next 5

In case you missed it: Click here for the Top-5 Mock Draft from earlier this week and see below for the picks.
    1.01 - Phil Marleau - C
    1.02 - Bjorn Scoringsson - W
    1.03 - Hulk Hogan- D
    1.04 - Aston Martin - C
    1.05 - Rayz Funk - G

    1.06  – Vancouver Wolves – W|39 – L|29 – OTL|4

The Vancouver Wolves sneak into the playoffs with the fifth best record in the regular season thanks to their dynamic offense led by veterans Beau Louth, Jake Davis and Rauno Palo – all of which were drafted in S62 or prior. Last off-season, they used the second overall pick to select winger Julius Freeman who put up a 12-27-39 stat line this season and has been developing very nicely for the Wolves. Their back-end is led by two more S62 veterans in Shawn Glade and Konstantin Mulligan, who are both top defensemen in the league. Overall, the roster is very well built right now but they need to start looking towards the future to build around the likes of Julius Freeman.

The Pick: ACL TEAR – Winger – Ottawa Lynx  @Quik

Analysis: The second Lynx prospect off the board is ACL TEAR and Vancouver is ecstatic to grab him here at six. Of all the prospects in this class, TEAR may be the most VHL-ready and can immediately step in and make an impact. The one aspect that may turn General Managers off a bit is his style of play. Simply put, he’s an old-school style enforcer-grinder hybrid with little high-end offensive skill. He has managed 11 goals and 16 assists in the regular season for a high scoring Ottawa team. His strengths are checking, fighting, defense and strength while his areas to improve on are most of the offensive categories. It will be interesting to see where TEAR goes on draft night, will a team take an early gamble with the hopes of him developing more offense?

    1.07  – HC Davos - W|37 – L|27 – OTL|8

Davos is back on the clock with the seventh pick in the draft after selecting center Aston Martin with their first pick in this mock. Davos is currently battling in the first round of the playoffs and will have another opportunity here to add to the prospect cupboard. Despite selecting Paddywagon and Past in Season 66, I think Davos here goes defense again and takes one of the biggest risers of this draft.

The Pick: Lincoln Tate – Defense – San Diego Marlins @Tate

Analysis: This may seem like a reach to some experts around the league, but Lincoln Tate has been earmarked as a sleeper in this draft for several weeks. His development with San Diego has raised the eyebrows of a handful of VHL teams, I’m told. Scouts describe Tate as a smooth, puck-moving defenseman who can provide high-end offense on a nightly basis. This is seen by his offensive production this season at San Diego. He led the team in overall scoring with 20 goals and 68 assists in just 65 games played, which is 7 less games than the rest of the team. This was also good for second best amongst all defenseman in the VHLM. Davos adds yet another dangerous young weapon to their blueline here with Lincoln Tate.

    .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

    1.08  – Seattle Bears (via CAL) - W|23 – L|40 – OTL|9

Seattle clearly owns the first round of the Season 67 VHL Draft. This is their third pick in the top eight as the continue to look to build out their roster and prospect depth. This pick was acquired in a trade with the Calgary Wranglers in the blockbuster deal that saw Matt Thompson, Maxim Kovalchuk and Sebastian Ironside go from Seattle to Calgary. So far in this mock draft, the Bears have selected Phil Marleau first overall and goaltender Rayz Funk fifth overall. With the roster desperate for all-around talent, the Bears look to fill out the defense here.

The Pick: Boone Jenton – Defense – Philadelphia Reapers @FakeJenton

Analysis: The “Big 3” on defense of this draft are Hogan, Tate and Jenton, I could really see them going in several different orders. Nonetheless, the Bears are thrilled to add Boone Jenton to their team at the eighth pick. The second Reaper to go in the first round behind Scoringsson, Jenton had himself a very solid first professional season with 8 goals and 55 assists which put him sixth best on the roster. Jenton can skate very well and transition from defense to offense at a high level. He also plays a very sound defensive game in his own end. He may be the best pure defensive prospect in the draft. Marleau, Funk and Jenton is one hell of a haul for the last placed Bears.

    .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

    1.09  – Riga Reign - W|42 – L|23 – OTL|7

The Reign finished with the second best record in the regular season and when you look at their roster you can see why. They are stacked with high-end talent at all positions headlined by Podrick Cast, Edwin Preencarnacion, Ryan Kastelic and Kallis Kirketers in net. Las season they used the number one overall pick to take sensational prospect Hunter Hearst Helmsley who had himself a respectable 50 point rookie season for the Reign. Riga is clearly set up for success, but will use this pick to try and find one of the hidden gems in this class.

The Pick: Michael Gary Scott – Right Wing – Mexico City Kings @Motzaburger

Analysis: Riga takes one of my favorite players in this class in Michael Gary Scott of the Kings. Like Lincoln Tate, Scott has been rising up draft boards over the last few weeks thanks to his performance on and off the ice. Scott was featured on a very talented Kings roster and put up gaudy numbers with 42 goals and 42 assists, second most points on the roster. The 42 goals put him seventh best in the entire VHLM this regular season. Despite his size at 5’6 and 179 pounds, he manages to find himself in great scoring position frequently. His goal scoring is obviously his most dominant feature, but his puck skills and skating are also in the top tier of this class. Riga lands a potential star here with Michael Gary Scott.

    .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

    1.10  – Calgary Wranglers - W|39 – L|28 – OTL|5

While the Wranglers traded their pick to Seattle in the aforementioned blockbuster deal, they managed to get back a first round pick in this draft in a trade with Helsinki. The Wranglers had themselves a very good regular season, finishing in third place due to strong offense down the middle and rock solid goaltending from Brick Wahl. They haven’t gotten much out of their S66 draft prospects so this pick here could be crucial in the long-term for the Wranglers.

The Pick: Acyd Burn – Right Wing – Halifax 21st  @Acydburn@Acydburn

Analysis: Calgary goes with offensive-minded winger, Acyd Burn from Halifax. Burn really turned on the jets in the second half of the season after somewhat of a slow start and finished the season with an impressive 30 goals and 51 assists. He’s been surrounded this season by talented offensive players such as Blake Gaudette and AJ Axelsen, but Burn quietly put up a very strong season. He plays the game with speed and has a dangerous, quik shot off the wing. Sticking Burn on a line with one of Calgary’s veteran centermen could be fun to watch.

    1. Unfortunately the Aces did not make the cut for the playoff's this season, so which team do you think is going to win it all?

    2. If you could change the Ace's color scheme to anything else, what would it be?

    3. As this season comes to an end, we will see a lot of players moving up to the VHL just after one season. Do you think is would be better to stay in the VHLM for an additional season or just move up to the VHL as soon as possible?

    4. The NHL Finals just wrapped up last week, are you happy to see the Blues hoist the cup for the first time? Who do you think are the early favorites for next season?

    5. If you could go back and start a new player right now, is there anything different you would do compared to your current player?

Davos has two first round picks this year as well as one second round pick. With the two picks being interesting, it's time to look at some draftees that are interesting to Finn Davison. The first guy is Bjorn Scoringsonn from Philly. Bjorn is a scorer who put up 30 goals and 66 points in 72 games. It would be really interesting to see another scorer come in. Now, do I think that he would be at a point where he could be picked by us? I really don't think so. This guy should honestly be a top 3 pick without question.

Another guy that I really like is from the same team, Philly. It is Boone Jenton. I really like the guy that can play defense in front of me, so why would I not like this guy? Now, he had 63 points this year so that proves he can be offensive as well to put points on the board. Davison is not getting any younger, he wants to win, so why not add someone that can really benefit him on both sides of the ice. I think both of these guys would be really interesting adds to Davos.

There are a few other guys I like, but I wouldn't want to ruin those steals, now would I? That would be silly. Do your research GMs.

    Why was this so hard?

Anyways, I wanted to thank everyone for applying, you certainly did not make it easy on me. None of you were easy outs for me, in fact in my original top three, only one of them actually made it into my final top three. I always thought that GMs were always overstating how hard it was to choose an AGM, but it turns out they weren't. It was a very tough choice, I honestly could not decide between my final two contenders at the end. It was extremely tough. I'm going to ramble a little bit, so if you just want to see who got the job scroll to the bottom.

One thing I wanted to say may actually be helpful for the people who didn't get this job. When you apply for a job, especially an AGM job, you have to try to connect with them as a person, as if you are a salesman, selling yourself as a product to the GM. Start off with saying how you think you guys would be great together, talk about some ideas you have, and make the person who is hiring connect with you, it is way tougher to turn someone down like that, mainly because I felt bad for the people I had to turn down that had pitched themselves to me on a personal scale. I felt bad for anyone who didn't get the job; but those who tried to connect at that personal level were very tough for me to turn down. Is it just that I'm indecisive? Maybe, but if anyone on this site is a salesman of anything, you probably agree with what I'm saying.

All of the nominees were good. It was tough to turn down some great members who ultimately deserve an AGM job, but unfortunately there is only one opening. In the end, I had to make a decision. I always thought it was silly when VHLM GMs said how hard it was to pick an AGM, and I thought it wasn't really that hard. But after this, they are right. It is very difficult to make a choice when all the applicants are good. That being said, lets get to the AGM. Congrats to @FakeJenton, the new Assistant (to the) General Manager of the Las Vegas Aces!
