Jody Shelley - 627GP (Played in the NHL, then Uni at Dalhousie and back to the NHL) as he wanted to finish his degree; broken neck in fight forced an early retirement as Captain of Columbus.

Not to mention a few in the NHL at the moment in: Derek Ryan - Oilers & Logan Thompson - Vegas

A lot more get NHL tryouts every season but as mentioned either end up playing the ECHL or AHL since they lacked something when scouted for their draft year. Usually height or skating.

@dlambthe single VHLM discord server I like though. I think the 200 different VHL related servers bothers me. I would love to have a general M server I think it would greatly help with retention. Everything else is a bit messy.

I would segregate the VHLM as a learning platform for 1st gen only.  There would be less teams and the GM's would be tasked with integrating the first gen players into the VHL system.  There would be regular communication on items like submitting TPE tasks, career task, player build strategies, etc.  They could be written articles or video content.  VHLM would be 2 seasons and the players would graduate straight to the VHL. Recreates would start back at the VHLE and then progress to the VHL.
