I mean doing the 45 everything route most of us did as new players also effectively did nothing for a lot more TPE, different exact circumstance, but the same outcome since people who min/max will have much lower STHS attributes than before, so the actual difference is the same.

Most importantly they don't LOSE 19 tpe to nothing, and since they are 1 increase off going +1 in basically everything with that setup. They are just one week away from getting a tonne. Actually properly losing TPE doesn't become an issue until you approach your peak build and you don't plan accordingly. Then you really can lose hundreds of TPE to nothing but air. On the way there it's just an ebb and flow of when exactly you hit the breakpoints. Same as how it is now with the updating scale, when swapping which attribute you are updating, just with another layer added.

To the nearest whole number. There used to be a bug way back in the day where a player would create, immediately retire, and create again, and they'd have 31 TPE instead of 30. 4% of 30 is 1.2, so it doesn't round up from that.

And then it's just a matter of looking around different threads and finding a case where it rounded up. For example, The Charm retired with 848 TPE, which projects to 33.92 TPE--and Andrej Petrovic recreated with 34 carryover.

So technically 1238 is what you need to get max carryover?
