1.) The finals are Ottawa vs Philadelphia, who do you think is going to win? I think Philly will win the cup. 2.) What do you think was Halifax's defining moment in the season? There were several defining moments during the season, would be hard to point to one. 3.) What was your favorite moment of the season? When the team fought it's way to the 2nd seed in playoffs. 4.) Are you happy with the results from your player during the regular season? Yes, I think my player exceeded my expectations by a long shot. 5.) If you haven't been drafted, what is your top choice for VHL teams? My top two would have to be either Vancouver or Seattle. 6.) What are your goals for next season? I hope to improve enough to help whatever team I go to.

Review: Not bad for your first try. I would try to make it smaller next time. Just play around with whatever program you are using and learn what you can. Work a bit on the format, like to balance where your text and subject are placed. Other than that, I think you are heading in the right direction. Several tutorials are around to help you too. Good effort.

Review: I really like what you have done. The background and player are amazing. The font is a bit plain but works. The only issue I see is that everything is pushed to the left a bit more than I would like. Overall a very good job.

Review: Not sure about the background on this. I think it's a bit dull, maybe needs a bit of color?. I love the font but it doesn't really pop. Not sure what the black is at the bottom of the player is. Overall it isn't bad. I think it just needs a bit more work. Just my eyeball opinion. Good job overall.

Review: Nice format and to the point. Several steps above what I have seen others have done. Good job. -
Review: You nailed the background and player. The text is a bit plain and I wish it would pop out a bit more. Not sure what you were going for at the bottom but overall it looks really good.

Review: Looks a bit off with the font so big but still has appeal. I would like to see the player more but for theme week it was more about getting your name out there it seems. Good job overall.

Review: I really like the format. The font looks awesome and your effects are spot on. It looks simple but it also looks very good. This is just subjective but I would have adjusted the face to highlight a bit. Overall a great job.

Much respect for the Marlins. Great series that was closer than the score sheet.

That's the spirit. Fun playing against you Mr. Tate. Now it should get interesting. Go Halifax Go!

Two great teams are taking the ice tonight for a first round match-up that is going to be a thriller to watch. Halifax 21st, the 2nd seed, going up against the San Diego Marlins, 7th seed. Both teams know each other well. During the regular season, Halifax holds the edge in wins with a record of 5-2 against the Marlins. This is the playoffs, those stats and games are gone and not even in the memories of the players. This is a new season, a fresh start. Both teams are out to prove they are the best and I believe there will be some fireworks in this series. The Marlins have some very talented players, especially on the backend, including their goal tenders. They look to put a stop to the high tempo Halifax 1st and 2nd lines that have been on fire the last half of the season. Halifax 21st might not be as seasoned on defense as the Marlins, but they do have a great core of defenseman that know their roles and work well as a team. It will be fun to watch the back and forth play between these two teams. Both teams are truly, in it, to win it.

1. What is the best VHLM Logo, why? Halifax has the best logo, because that's my team. 2. What is the best VHL logo, why? Any VHL team that I go to will have the best logo. 3. What would you pick as Halifax's mascot? A Sardine of course. 4. What is our team pre-game ritual? I like to losen up my team mates by playing the good ol "Pull my finger" joke on them. 5. What is our team post-game ritual? I like to eat a big ribeye steak after every game. 6. Craziest thing you've seen a teammate do? I watched our goalie pull his own finger and laugh when he farted. Amazing.

The playoffs are here, the tension is at it's peak. The pecking order is fairly well defined and looks like there will be some really epic match-ups. Here at Halifax, we are just going over the X's and O's of what we want to do but it really just comes down to teamwork and working hard. We have had success against all the teams in the league and we will work to continuing that trend. Our GM and AGM are on top of the lines and manage us very well. I hope this playoffs are long and hard fought. Our players are focused and committed to each other so we can fulfill our dreams of winning the cup. We are ready. We will compete in every game. We will win. Look for our best players to have some highlight reel moments. The playoffs will bring the best out of everyone on the team. We all have a role on the team, some are more glorious than others, but we all embrace our roles and work as a team that will defeat any team we face. Yes, a bold statement. Let the games begin.

Review: Nice work. You did a very nice job with the logo on the jersey. I would have liked to see some background effects but this works as intended. Your font looks very nice and everything blends well. Great effort.

Review: Wow that is bright. Not in a bad way either. My focus went right to the players face, which is a good thing. I would have worked on the text as it is just lost in the bright yellow. Overall a great job.
-
Review: First off, this looks top notch. The colors you used worked well with the backgroud and it really is a piece of eye candy. I would have maybe played with the font a bit more but it doesn't take away from this project. Crazy good.
-
Review: Well, we all have to start somewhere and you didn't do bad at all for your first one. Good colors and nice background. Just work on sizing and font placement and you will be on your way. Very good start.
-
Review: Very nicely done. The colors really pop and the player looks sharp. I am not a fan of the boarder but it adds weight and that might be what you were going for. The thought the text was too washed out at first but once I looked at it as a whole, it works very well. Great job.
-
Review: Really nice to look at. Backgroud and shadows work well to highlight the players face. Colors are spot on and I am impressed with your work. Great effort.
-
Review: You really have the eye and skill to make these look very good. The effects all work together with a stunning result. I have nothing to add that wouldn't just be subjective. Amazing job.

Review: Nice design. I like the background and the player was cut out really well. Great job overall I would say. You could maybe dress up the font a bit next time but that really didn't take away from the graphic. Good effort.
