Realistically if this were to happen I would think taking out the teams that were expanded (thus Cologne and Quebec) would make the most sense for the league history. With that said I don't love it. The points you make are relatively valid and while I think it would be fun to have true Dynasties in the league I can't see it happening. It's kinda the nature of things in a sim league. In the NHL you can have rookies come in and play really well but here that's almost impossible so unless you perfectly space out our team ages a dynasty longer than 5-6 seasons is a real challenge. I think the Toronto 4-peat (and another finals appearance after) is about the longest that's realistic. I'm not sure the issue surrounding league parity is as much a problem with the amount of teams and more a problem with how Free Agency often goes. There's nothing wrong with getting a large pile of free agents onto one team, it can certainly be fun if you're one of them, but overall it's going to hurt the parity of the league. If NY had only gotten half its Free Agents and the rest had been split up it likely would have increased parity in the league. I think we have enough players that 10 teams can be sustainable, at least under the old model. With that said, if it was the goal to try and create dynasties (which would create further problems with free agency IMO) then I'll admit that it might be challenging without dropping back to 8.

I don't hate them, I just don't love them either. I would vastly prefer Weezer to whatever you were playing before. Until you have some classic rock or heavy metal in there you won't truly please me.

You failed in picking a song I LIKE but you did at least success in picking a song I don't completely HATE so you're on the right track. That is my only comment for the moment, we'll see if I listen to the rest later.

Man you really loaded up the RAVE in Ravenwing. Overall I like the effect although it might be a tad bit overdone. It’s definitely not bad at all just very strong. I think some stronger lighting and contrast would have helped a lot. Usually you want to have the contrast really on point before messing with the colours a lot. It does look pretty decent though. Text is decent and whatever those little blocks are look decent.

The effects in this look really great; there’s something almost comic strip styled about it; I think that’s partly related to the effect on the 87. In any case, the depth could be a tad better and the lighting is a little iffy (I see the lighting dot on the side of his face that’s dark). The text is pretty decent though.

I have two issues with this so I’m going to bring them up right off the top: The head looks like it’s floating and there is a little too much pixelation. Now, with that said, holy shit this is sexy. The text work is amazing, the stock work is amazing, the colours and lighting are amazing. If you remove some of the pixelation and maybe show a little more of his shoulder so he’s not floating (maybe blur it instead?) Seriously though, well done.

Great BG; great colour work, contrast is spot on. The text feels a tad lackluster IMO and some of the stock work feels a little iffy. Overall though it’s a very great piece and I think it works well overall.

You know how I complained last time about the split between B&W and colour not working? This time it works fantastic and the effects on the render are the exact right amount of trippy. Stock work is great, text is great, this is honestly a great sig. Well done.

I agree that the CONCEPT here is great but unfortunately I don’t find the execution works well. The split between colour and B&W is weird and stark, the contrast is all over the place, and the pink just feels slightly odd. With that said, the flow is amazing, the text is great and the render effects look wonderful. It’s very odd because the things that work are amazing but the things that don’t work have some drastic issues.

I feel like I want to love this but something about it just doesn’t really feel great about it. I think the horizontal lighting lines feel weird which is the main problem. I do enjoy the render effects and the text seems to fit pretty well. It would be nice if there was a bit more depth though, the BG feels kinda bland.

My main complaint with this is that the render’s face feels really dark compared to the rest of the sig; overall the lighting’s good but the render’s face feels too dark. I do like the text and the overall feel this has though. It would be nice if you used the stocks to create a bit more depth but that’s a relatively minor thing. Overall it’s a pretty solid piece.

General rule of thumb: only give us 1 to review. Without lower grades possible it’s not really a problem anymore but still. Anyway, I’ll do the original one. The lighting and contrast are kinda all over the place. I actually think the part I like the most is the text with the circle. It’s odd because I usually don’t like text like that but it feels like some kind of 80’s hair metal logo and it feels great. Unfortunately I wish the rest of the sig really fit that aesthetic but unfortunately it feels all over the place.

Looking solid. The lighting could be a little stronger to create a bit more contrast on the render though. As it stands the (admittedly very nice) text and effects kinda make the render disappear into the BG. It would be nice to have the render be a little bit more of a focus. There’s plenty t hat this does right but unfortunately it makes what it does wrong really blend in too much. Get the contrast fixed up though and this could be something amazing.

I really like what you have going on in the BG but the away jersey render just doesn’t really feel like it matches the rest of the piece. The render effects are okay but there isn’t really a lot of lighting and the text stands out like a sore thumb. Some blurring or pixelation or waves would help with getting the focus where you want. Overall it’s a pretty solid start but it needs more to really make it great.

This is one of the times I can definitely see some improvement coming from your GFX. There’s room to improve but there’s also a lot that’s being done right here. I would like to see a little more blending on the render and some blurring with the specks in the BG so as to create more depth. Normally I don’t really like strokes on text but it doesn’t work too badly here. Keep working on your lighting and depth and you’ll be in great shape.

I don’t speak whatever it is they are speaking in this but from what I gather from Wiki that’s basically heavily fermented herring that has just enough salt in it to keep it from rotting and the smell when you open the can has been said to be one of the worst smells in the world. Does that sound about right?

The render effects are very simple but they work very nicely here; just the right amount of contrast. Unfortunately that’s the best point. The text stands out way too much and should overlap the render a little bit to keep the focus where you want. The BG also feels a little bland but it could definitely be worse. Keep trying, you’ll get there.

I would like to see a little more going on in the BG as it kinda bland. With that said I like what you were going for in relation to the stock and colouring work. The text quality isn’t really amazing but the idea is nice for it. Normally I don’t care for fancy fonts but this one kinda works. I would like to see it a little closer to the render though. Combined with the sig size it’s taking the focus away a little bit.

I like the BG work and the text seems to fit very well here. I think the main thing you’re missing here is some really nice lighting and render effects to make that render pop. As it stands it feels a little flat on the render which really is a shame.

The lighting on the render is very good but unfortunately the lighting on the rest of the piece feels almost non-existent; it’s just too dark. Personally I’m not big on the motion effects on the text; I find they look a little corny and overly strong. It’s nice to see you trying out some different things though, it’s good to have some fun with it and see what works for you.
