????? So It's been at least a year since I've seriously kept up with the VHL. I have to say I am very impressed with the new portal for updating and creating players and stuff, job well done to whoever made that. I am going to take a look at the teams and try and figure out who is good now and who is bad and all that fun stuff so here we go. Who Is Good Calgary Wranglers I understand we are only 8 games into the season, but it warms my heart to see Calgary in 1st place, as they are my old team I GMd for the longest time. @Fire Hakstol tells me that the team has no won a cup since I managed the team in S44, making it the longest cup drought in the VHL. I am very sorry to hear that and hope they can turn things around. Looking at their roster, I see Michael Kinkaid on defense, and am wondering if he has any relation to that old scrub Kez Kinkaid. I am also annoyed that tpe count don't automatically show up in the titles of players' roster pages. Whoever Mats Johnson is has over 900 tpe, so I am assuming he is a really good defender, though with tpe inflation these days maybe I am off and that is nothing. @Bushito looks like he has made a pretty beastly goalie and hasn't gone inactive, so good on him. Hopefully he does go inactive soon so Calgary can win a cup. HC Davos Dynamo Davos is 5-2 so far, so hooray for them. Davos is such a stupid place to have a hockey team, where even is Davos? I honestly have no idea but google just told me it's in Switzerland. I see @CowboyinAmerica is a stud forward for Davos, I am too lazy to check but can someone tell me how his career went, and how he got from Seattle to Davos? I am curious because I know Cowboy always makes stud players. I like @Tyler's player name The Charm, and he looks like a good young piece for Davos. Now that I keep looking at Davos roster I think they have more just had good schedule luck to be in second place at this point, and they are more of an average roster. Who Is Bad New York Americans It also warms my heart to see the Americans in last place. I have always hated the Americans, as everyone is all luck, "OMG SUCH A STORIED AND GREAT FRANCHIZE I LUV DEM" I have always hated those kinds of teams, as they often haven't done anything recently and are loved based on something that happened 20 years ago no one cares about (Looking at you Dallas Cowboys). I have no idea how the Americans have actually done recently, and maybe they have won 10 cups in a row and I will look silly. I will also forever hate New York for @STZ taking someone else's offer of worse draft picks for the same players. Now that I'm done ranting, @der meister looks like New York's best player, but he is old. If New York is actually a bad team, I suggest they trade their old good players for draft picks or good young players to help with a rebuild #Analysis. But I should stop giving New York advice because I hate them. Bonus Question - Why is there a VHLM team called the Halifax 21st, what is that?

LW – King Gow Age: 19 Place of birth: Philadelphia, PA Height: 6'3” Weight: 220 lbs. Current team: N/A Fittingly, King Gow is the 100th member of the esteemed S63 Draft class, a special milestone for such a special person. Unlike other Gows who have graced the VHL with their presence before, King Gow is royalty, and as such is a physical specimen unlike anything the league has seen before. Standing at 6'3'', 220 lbs, King Gow is a massive player who will have a long reign of terror in the VHL. All Hail King Gow: Physicality With the help of his massive frame, King Gow enjoys terrorizing his opponents, as he is well-known for throwing vicious checks to knock his opponent off the puck. Additionally, Gow is a great net-front presence in the offensive zone, as even the largest defenders have trouble knocking him from the crease. This results in lots of easy goals for the King in close through rebounds, screens, and deflections. If teams decide to give Gow extra attention down low, it opens up opportunities for his teammates elsewhere. Great Tools Most players Gow's size can only hope for average speed at best, but that is not the case for this physical specimen. King Gow has all the tools you would want in a skater, as he has long and powerful strides that help him move up and down the ice in a flurry. Additionally, the King has great quick-twitch ability, as he has the agility to cut on a dime along with the acceleration to quickly change direction. Lastly, King Gow has great balance, and often uses his size to keep control of the puck despite opponents trying to knock him off his skates. Team-First Player While many monarchs throughout history have only cared for themselves, King Gow cares for the greater good. The King is not a puck hog, and equally willing to pass or shoot depending on what he feels is better for the team. Additionally, Gow has a relentless motor, and often frustrates his opponents with his furious back-checking. Why the King Might Suck: Raw Puck Skills King Gow is best described as a boom or bust player, as he possesses all the physical tools, but currently has minimal abilities with the puck on his stick. You will never see Gow successfully complete a fancy deke, as he just does not have the offensive ability required. Additionally, while the King can shoot ridiculously hard shots, he is lacking in accuracy and takes a long time to wind up and shoot. Lastly, Gow's passing ability is average at best. It will take a lot of good coaching to get Gow's offensive ability where it needs to be. Defensive IQ While Gow puts in the enough effort to be a good defensive player, he unfortunately does not know proper defensive positioning. The King often gets excited to make splash plays, and often freelances in an attempt to make big hits or poke checks. Perhaps some time developing his game on the penalty kill in the minor leagues is what he needs to better learn his role in the defensive zone. Aggressiveness King Gow might like hitting a little too much, as he often gets penalized for boarding, elbowing, or interference as he sometimes sees a player and hits him regardless of where the puck is. This obviously infuriates his coaches, and Gow gets mad as he does not enjoy sitting in the penalty box. He will need to improve his discipline to become an impact VHL player.

I at least updated him so @diamond_ace can have a decent VHLM player. Thanks to @Banackock for drafting me and sorry he's a scrub but it's not worth keeping up with him at this point! I'm on to new and better things with King Gow!
