Wrangs Gon Wrang Like Stockholm and Seattle and likely many others, Calgary will be seeking out free agents next season. The Wranglers boast a great core of young players, as their top two forwards Gowecny and Axelsson will begin to enter their prime years starting next season. Calgary's goalie, Ariel Weinstein, has the potential to be the best goalie in the league next season as he currently has the 2nd best save percentage in the league only behind future hall of famer Hans WinGod. Kevin Jalopski, Ted Doughty, Jace Hines, and Alokin Alset will bring solid forward depth to the team. Jim Lahey, Tobias Klingburg, and Marquis Hyvarinen will form a solid defensive unit next season, and with a potential elite defensive addition in free agency could be one of the league's best defenses. If the team can land just one of the available stud free agents, that along with their current players and picks for sale could make for a very dangerous team come S51. I was going to write an article about DAV C1 because Phil told me he had the most points for a bot with 27 points in S36, but then I go and look up all of DAV C1's stats and in S36 he actually got a grand total of 0 points! Now that I took the time to find DAV C1's stats throughout VHL history I probably will write something about him, but the morale of the story is that Phil is a bad person and should be banned for lying to me. I know he was tired as he had just pulled an all nighter or something but still this is Phil we are talking about and we all know Phil should be kept to the highest of expectations. I played the NHL 17 beta a good amount thanks to @DollarAndADream and I am impressed with it because they changed some of the puck pyshics, added new custimization and classes to OTP, and I feel like they buffed defense a bit.
