Ugh, school is so time-consuming and stressful and keeps me up all night. Over the last couple weeks I've just had no time to write anything regarding media spots for my TPE. I would either have to settle with a free week, or somehow think of one on the spot and just let my fingers do the work. I have some time to be as active as ever coming up to the start of the season, and can remain relatively active for the entire month of April which is fantastically great news! Then after that I have work on finals and exams with also the stress of moving (Holy crap kill me.) HEY THOUGH, It's almost over and the summer time is coming. My player is also getting ready for his rookie season in the VHL, and he's gonna absolutely wreck the league! Anyways, sorry for my little article that just sounds like me rambling and stuff. I'm gonna be even more creative with my new Media Spots and league-wide writings to be as active as I can. Cya all on the ice my fellow teammates and opponents!

So close... yet so far. Logan Moore was one game away from gold in the World Juniors playing for Team Asia. Everything looked so promising before the gold medal game. Asia was shocking the world so far, making easy work of Canada and making them look like Great Britain. They came out of that short little series with a 3.75 GF. They would also go onto make it look easy against team Europe and World, winning regular games against them with scores of 8-3, 7-4, and 6-4. When they got to the semi finals vs Canada, they absolutely destroyed them, beating them 6-2 everything looked like it was going to go amazing for Asia.

This team was one game away from taking the label of not being able to win gold on their backs. It was against Europe as well, who we dominated game 11 and game 15 against. But sometimes the hockey gods aren't on your side, and cause your entire team to fall apart to voodoo unknown magic. But then, the lights flashed on, the players laced up their skates, and it was time to go out onto the ice. And.. well, we got our butts handed to us. Europe ended up leading the shot department 52-27! Outshooting us 20-3 in the first, 23-13 in the second, and then us leading 11-9 in the third. That right there is just so awful, as every period they shot as much as some teams would shoot in an entire game. And then the penalty bug started to happen, and oh my did this kill us. When you take NINE penalties in a game, you're most likely not going to be able to recover. Europe was 3/9 on the power-play and we're lucky it wasn't even more for how we played that game. Everyone (me myself included) was just so undisciplined that game, and that's just atrocious especially in the game for gold. With all these penalties we took, Europe won gold with a 5-1 victory, and Team Asia held their silver medals in shame.

Overall though, I can't be too disappointed. We shocked the VHL with our underdog-like run, and outplayed our opponents in most of the games we played. Logan Moore ended up having a great tournament, in the regular season he had 10 games played with 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points. He was a plus 6 with 15 hits and 18 shots blocked. In the playoff games he had 2 games played with a goal and an assist. He was a plus 3 with 3 hits and 5 shots blocked. Even though Logan Moore couldn't win in the World Juniors, he's still looking forward to the VHL this season and is ready to tear it up with the Bears, and playing this very competitive hockey over the last month has taught him a lot and changed how he played the game. He learned to take opportunities to jump up into the play and be a great offensive AND defensive player for any team. Even though he still takes penalties, he's looking to work on that and change his ruthless violent behavior on the ice.

Review: Really well done. Team Asia went on an unlikely run to the Gold Medal Game and despite the tough loss, this is a great take about it. The detail in the writing is great without being too specific, and the recaps of game scores give the user a good reference point. Well done! 10/10

It's always tough to take a loss in a championship game - be it as a veteran member or a relatively newer one. But take heart - you made it to a championship game as a first generation player, and whether that's for the VHLM, WJC, VHL, or WC, it's all a very positive sign for your career (heck, it's a positive sign you were selected at all!). You have an astute eye in looking at the shots per period, as they're well-correlated with goals and victory (unless there's a large gap in goalie quality), and I love how this media spot captures the frustration associated with seeing that difference. I'm glad you came out of this experience with an overall positive impression, and I suspect you have a bright future ahead of you! I don't have significant concerns re: grammar or usage. Keep up the good work.

Since this is my first player ever since joining the league, this is my first ever World Juniors. I'm honestly so excited for what's to come and I'm interested in the scenario my player is in. Team Asia is interesting, because they're in a drought and no one really expects them to do much at all. Well you know what? I think the doubters are wrong. I believe in Team Asia this year and believe that we are a dark horse to be reckoned with. NO I'm not saying this just because my player is on the team, I firmly believe we can make noise this year. If I jinx our team well whatever, but It won't stop me. A team that hasn't won in years needs some motivation and kick in their step to get back into a winning culture and succeed. I do wish the other teams a good luck and warn them to WATCH OUT for Team Asia BABY! See you all out on the ice for the World Juniors!

drewowo got a reaction from Banackock in I Want MOORE Vacation: Logan Moore in Tokyo
After the end of last season, Logan Moore was thinking of an interesting place to go on vacation. He grew up in a small town in Illinois, and was ready to feel a different environment for once. He got his wish, and he ended up going to Tokyo where he saw a bunch of cool sights. As he was roaming around the city with his girlfriend while weird ads of Japanese Cartoons flashed brightly into his eyelids, he wanted to post on social media the favorite things he did in Tokyo.

                                                                                                        FAVORITE FOODS IN TOKYO:
Logan was a big fan of Tempura, it was a like a mix of seafood and vegetables. He said it really reminded himself of the food his mom made when he was younger, and it gave him nostalgia as he bit into every inch of the food.

                                                                                                 FAVORITE PART ABOUT THE CITY:

He said the lights were definitely the best part of the experience. Walking around the city as the lights shined down on him, with their various colors lighting up the night in neon. The big screens broadcasting advertisements and other various things. He noted that there was an ad that actually showcased a hockey player in it, so he felt at him with that.

                                                                                              SOUVENIRS THAT HE GATHERED:

Logan Moore was enthralled by the souvenirs in Tokyo. He found a bunch of those white cats with the paw up, and his girlfriend found them very cute. So obviously since his girlfriend found it adorable he had to buy about 100 different versions of them. (she's kind of persistent on buying things she finds adorable and it's causing Logan to go bankrupt.) She also made him buy this Hello Kitty plushie that had a cute patrol officer outfit on. Logan then said "Okay that's enough!" and he bought some things for himself. He looked for something that most related to hockey. He bought a pin that had a mascot, which I think is from the olympics one year. It's a cat looking creature with blue squares and an aqua color stick. He also found another olympic related thing, which was a Japan jersey for the olympics.

                                                                                               WORST THING ABOUT THE VACATION:

It was the language barrier for Logan. He spent the entire plane ride looking at different Japanese Learning Books and he just couldn't grasp the language at all. He said he would rather learn how to lift monster trucks on his back. Every-time he would try to read a sign, he would squint at it for like 2 minutes, and the locals gave him peculiar stares probably thinking something along the lines of "Wow, look at that dumb American!" Logan mistakenly said a very preposterous word to a waiter and he was then slapped right across the face and forced out of the restaurant. Soooo yeah, not a great part of his trip, but he still made it work.

                                                                                               SUMMARY OF THE VACATION

The whole slap in the face thing was really bad, but everything else just makes the whole experience better. Logan Moore would have to give this vacation a 9.5/10!

drewowo got a reaction from Cornholio in Analyzing the (so far) Amazing Season for the Minnesota Storm.
I really like getting into the stats of all my teammates and just how well we all play together! So i'd like to dedicate this week's article into analyzing every individual players play during this season.

So far, the Minnesota Storm are 19-4-3 which gives them 41 points. This great plays puts them first in the Eastern Conference and 2nd overall just behind Houston. This great record is all due to the great stars and depth this team has. Let's dive into the forwards for Minnesota.

Firstly. we'll analyze the First line for the forward group. Playing first player for the Minnesota Storm is Maksym Jankowski @Max12. Jankowski is having an impeccable season, as he's posted 21 goals, and 23 assists which adds up to 44 points! Getting all those minutes and playing against other amazing first lines, he is coming out of the games today as a +19. Jankowski also lays the body pretty heavily as he has 92 hits! Next up is That Dude @Cornholio. This pretty stellar dude has 18 goals and 17 assists making up 35 points. Dude likes to lay the body a bit too with 48 hits! Our last first liner is Brendan Telker @Telkster. Telly is sitting pretty with 19 goals and 24 assists for 43 points. He has a big 112 shots already and comes out with a +22. The average amount of points combining all three of the players is 40.66! Amazing start for this dynamic line.

The second line is up next, which consists of Henry Tucker @NotSoGood88 , Nikolas DAndrea @Nikdandrea34, and Brian Moreau @weekz. We'll start with Moreau first, who has 16 goals, 20 assists which accounts for 36 points. 10 points above PPG is pretty good for the second line. Other Notable stats are 128 shots, and a PM of +14. Our second player is DAndrea, who has 12 goals, 13 assists for 25 points. Not the most defensive player as he's a -2, but he can definitely get that up! Our last player is Tucker, who has 8 goals and 21 assists for 29 points. This man is an apple master as it appears with his goal/assist ratio. He is a +1 and has 73 hits! The average amount of points for this line is 30.

The third line has Captain Grapes @Grapes-Tophat_Clan- Assist Captain Joseph Sharkton @TheOGShark and Green Gaming @Lilpfigher. Gaming so far has 4 goals and 10 assists for 14 points. He has already tied his previous season record in 40 less games! He is a +4 and has 44 SOG. Sharkton is having a very great season for being on the third line. He has 9 goals and 23 assists for 32 points! Great season for the assistant captain as he also has a +4. Your CAPTAIN, Mr. Grapes so far has 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points. He's having a better all around game this year, as he has a +10 this year compared to his -30 the previous year. Average amount of points for this line is 22.3

Lastly, the fourth line has Gary Tarantino II @Garrett, Brussels Sprouts @Liberty_Cabbage, and Calvin Hobbes @2hawk. Hobbes is doing pretty decent on the fourth line, as he has 4 goals, 5 assists for 9 points. He's a -3 right now, but he still has a lot of growth ahead of him. Brussels Sprouts has 2 goals, 4 assists for 6 points so far. He does pretty good defensively as he has 19 hits and 3 SBs. Gary has 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points. He is a -7 so far this season. Again, this line still has a lot of growth and for now they serve as good depth for the team. Average amount of points for this line is 5.6.

NOW, onto the defensive core for the Storm! First pairing we have myself, Assistant Captain Logan Moore, and Markuss Puhovs. @VOID Stiles. Puhovs has 8 goals, 19 assists for 27 points. He is a +19 and has been a really good offensive presence for this team on the backend. And this is only his 2nd season, which is pretty impressive. Next is Moore, who has 6 goals, 19 assists for 25 points. He is a +19 and plays good both ends up the ice with 107 hits and 46 SBS. There's not kidding these two are one of the most deadliest pairs in the league. Average amount of points for this line is 39.5.

Our second defensive pairing is Vincent Correll @correllvincentand Ron World Peace III @stevo. Ron so far has 3 goals and 11 assists for 14 points. He plays a pretty good defensive game with 27 hits and 29 SBS. He also so far is a +15, so a pretty good sophomore showing so far. Correll was recently a trade acquisition from the Marlins. He has 0 points right now, but with our team he has 13 hits and 8 SBS. If he gets a bit more active with point tasks i'm sure he'll blossom perfectly. Average amount of points for this line is 7.

The third defensive pairing consists of Bahram Kamkar @Eagle Eyeand Barron Kruulenstien @LefLop. Barron has 0 goals, but 9 assists which obviously gives him 9 points. His defensive game consists of 27 hits and 18 SBS, coming out with a +1. He is having a pretty decent rookie season, and he can only get better from here on out. Kamkar has 0 goals as well, but 12 points. His defensive game has him with 47 hits and 18 SBS, coming out with a +12. These two make a very good shutdown line, keeping the puck out of the net for our goalie. Average amount of points for this line is 10.5.

Our final D-pair is Jacob Oldenburger @Jacob oldenburger and Sean Ramirez. Ramirez so far has 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points. His defensive game consists of 9 hits and 13 SBs. He's a -6 so far, but he's only a rookie so there's a lot of time for him. Oldenburger is also a rookie, who only has 1 goal so far. His defensive game consists of 25 hits and 5 SBs. He's a -8, but again tons of room to grow and he'll turn into a solid defensive defenseman for this team. Average amount of points for this line is 2.

Oh boy, if you've read this far thank you. We are now moving onto the final position, goaltending. Your starting goaltender, Tator Tot @Trunkxolotl! Tot so far through 16 games has gone 10-3-3, while posting a .891 SV% and 2.99 GAA. Tot is only getting better, as he is getting closer and closer to bringing his SV% up to .900. Here's me hoping he gets there before the end of the season. Our backup goalie, Carter Bellamy @Leafsfan328! So far through 12 games he has a 9-1-0, with a SV% of .879 and 3.08 GAA. I'm assuming the missing wins/losses are from when Tot was pulled and he went in to fill for him. Great tandem between these two, and they're doing great at their job.

This has been a great season so far, and it's all because of these beauties above. Let's continue this dominant play for the rest of the season!

The average amount of points for this line is 30.

What's going on Minnesota?! Hope you're enjoying your day in the state of hockey. The three captains of the Minnesota Storm have been announced a little while ago, and I'd like to take a look at the 4 to see how well they've lead the team.

First we'll look at YOUR CAPTAIN! CAPTAIN GRAPES @Grapes-Tophat_Clan-! So far he's been pretty great and leading the team by example. So far he has 18 games played with 4 goals 12 assists and 16. He's just under a point per game, but he can for sure beat his points from last year (51) if he keeps it up. He's a plus 8 which is a big improvement over his -30 he had the year prior. And he isn't the most defensive player in the league but he still gets it done with 11 hits.

Our first Alternative Captain Logan Moore @drewowo. He has the same amount of points as Grapes but instead has 3 goals and 13 apples. He has a plus 10 and plays a great defensive game with 76 hits and 33 shot blocks. These two seem to have pretty good chemistry and get it done on the powerplay together.

Our last two Alternative Captains  are Tot and Sharkton @Trunkxolotl @TheOGShark. In 11 games, Tot is 7-2-2 with a .882 SV% and 3.27 GAA. Almost has more wins this year in 35 less games! He should be able to beat it in the next few games. Our other alternative captain is Sharkton, who in 18 games has 5 goals and 18 assists which gives him 23 points! He has a plus four and plays some decent defense with 16 hits and 4 Shot blocks. A pretty good all around player who leads your Minnesota Storm!

Logan Moore hugging Tots after a big win!

this is good work for a new member! (Better then me) I like that you did the logo swap although the main logo could be better as the shoulder one looks better! Also the writing is hard to read, I think this has great potential and maybe with a more vibrant background this would be even better!
