Ok here is a little more obscure one: I dubbed the NYA Americans prospect Callum Gary Yannick Janser (my player) and Rin Kagamine (Rin/Sonnet's player) the 'Beauty and the Beast'. It would be cool if you could combine the two in a NYA uniform (my player has the jersey number 7, Rin's is 02 (yes with a leading zero)) CGY's render is Mo Seider and Rin's is Rin Kagamine and in case you wonderd CGY is the Beauty and Rin is the Beast. I am aware that this is quite the request and I would not be cross at you for telling me to F off

1. Mario Lemieux. The line with him, Francis and Jagr dominated the league for years. 2. I would opt for what we call 'Studentenfutter', I think in English it is trail mix. 3. Many good ones around, but due to bias I'd say Calgary. 4. Not unless the salary cap is raised along side it. 5. I would suggest to sell the name rights for the stadium. 6. Because free (or rather pre-paid) health care and general high quality of life in Sweden.

Is Payne supposed to be blue yet? I thought he is not HOF eligible yet? Not shitting on the player or the member at all, I think they are a good candidate for the HOF and a great addition to our community. Goes back to the mid-80s when both teams battled for promotion to the top flight of Switzerland's hockey league. I cannot tell how much is your doing and what was already given by the Lions (who have an annoyingly competent marketing department), but it is nice that our National League gets some love (even if it is ZSC Lions)... The number at least looks like your doing and I do not recognize the player. Cool Idea regardless...

Callum was always an outdoors man. Going hiking from a young age and doing freeclimbing as a hobby will do that to you. He was also in the boyscouts and knows how to light a fire in almost any circumstances. To round things off, he was taught to survive in the Swiss Alps during his military training. He also went fishing with back-to-back Continental Champion Marcel Janser a lot when he was a kid and still to this day whenever they find the time. He lives now in southern Sweden with a lot of lakes, rivers, forests and the Baltic Sea at his finger tips. So he thought he could do some hunting and fishing in his spare time. He talked to his Swedish friends in the Vasteras organisation, chief amongst them security guard Sven, who is also an avid outdoors person. Upon inquiry Sven advised him, that he only has to register at the local community for fishing and hunting, albeit he has to pass a test about the hunting rules as well as fishing ordinance. And so Callum did exactly that and prepared for the tests, which he aced. Now he is looking to buy a hunting piece, as the Swiss ordinance rifle he already owns is to low calibre for that. Will see what he will get.

It has been made very clear that the primary directive for VHLM GM's is retention and mentoring new players. That does of course not mean they should deliberately throw. Let's say a player has a 'Tiger Williams' build (i.e. high checking and fighting, not much else which contributes to the sim), it would be my job as a VHLM GM to explain this member that they will probably see limited success as a player and give some hints where they can improve. But it is also my job to find a role for such player if that is really the type of player they want to be. We need to remember that the players we GM are not ours but the members' and if we try to shoehorn players into a role/build their 'owner' is not happy about, retention will be low. When I was a VHLM GM I made people aware that high SC, SK, PH and DF is the accepted meta, but at the same time explained that they should make a player to their liking, pointing out that leadership does little to nothing and that passing is a bit misleading as it does not necessarily create assists but turnovers (simplified of course)...
