Chico getting passed around like a blunt on 420.

Although not putting up superstar numbers, Chico Smeb has definitely broken out this season in comparison to his first two seasons in the league. With 5 games left, he only needs 5 more points to double his point total from last year ( which was a career high) . He currently sits at 67 games played with 53 points, not bad at all for a 3rd year player who was drafted 19th overall, barely thought of to crack a VHL roster. 
 
INTERVIEWER: Chico, happy with your season so far? You've put up some respectable numbers so far playing with RIGA on the 2nd line. 
 
CHICO: Very. I was drafted 19th overall and had a lot of doubt coming into the league. It's nice to be able to put up some solid depth numbers in the league. I'm happy with my development so far. I don't expect to put up star numbers, or ever be a PPG player, but if I can stay around the 55-60 pts per season mark, I'll be very happy and keep interested in the league.

1. Where do you see Davos fitting next year?
Depends on what happens in the offseason, but based on the current moves maybe not as high, but the last playoff spot still should be doable and then anything can happen
2. What do you think about the location of Davos?
Don't know much about Davos but Switzerland is pretty cool

I like Malmos
4. Is there anyone on the team right now that can make the Hall of Fame? Why?
i dont know what the standards for VHL HoF is or the careers of anyone on the team but maybe Dragomir since his names cool, and obviously Codrick Past 
5. Will Davos ever have a breakthrough in the rebuild?
Well we made the conference finals, granted theres usually a couple teams that are god awful and its a small league so thats not really saying much but i'd consider it a breakthrough in a rebuild.
6. I guess making the playoffs was a breakthrough? but do you think it'd be better to have Glade and possibly make the Euro Final rather than bowing out against Riga?
Well we swept Riga soooo, not that we'd need Glade to make it when Riga has @xDParK series was FREE.

1) Trade deadline's approaching. Who do you think is most likely to be traded AWAY from their team to a legit playoff contender in exchange for picks?
No one on our team, we are going all in for sure.
2) We just had a couple of dominant wins over Malmo after a rough few games vs. Helsinki. Which of your teammates have been most important in this stretch?
Probably Chico Smeb, he's come up big lately having a couple multi point games

Used to about 1.5 years ago, but ever since I traveled the world I haven't been gaming at all.

Pretty close in the TPE race, although Kylrad has slacked a bit the past couple of weeks growing Chico's lead by about 5-10. A 14 TPE lead now and growing, Kylrad needs to get back on track with his VHL.com articles.

Well, to be honest I wanted to write this a few days ago when Kylrad was 17 GP and 0 points, but he appears to have had a good sim week and has caught up pretty quickly while I haven't had a point in about 2 weeks. I'm quite disappointed to see Kylrad to do so well this past week as this article has now become a waste. I only did this to chirp him but I've already spent time looking up stats and such so there's no going back now.

We caught up with Chico Smeb for a quik interview...
 
Interviewer: So Chico, with the draft being tomorrow right before Game of Thrones, will you be playing in the VHL or VHLM next season?
 
Chico Smeb: Well, it really depends who drafts me in the VHL. If I get drafted by a team that has room in the top 6 for me in the VHL next season, I want to play there, however, if there is no room in the top 6 I think I'll be playing top line minutes in the VHLM for one more season. I'm already at 250+ TPE, and will probably hit 300 by the start of the season, so I'm not sure. It's going to be good lighting up the VHLM, but also so boring just banking TPE for an entire season without applying it. I think I could lose motivation in updating my player to be honest if I'm stuck banking, so maybe it's best I could up to the VHL even if I have to play 3rd line. Hmm...Honestly I don't know... I could be a waste of a pick in the VHLM, so hopefully no one risks a high pick on me tomorrow.

What VHL team logo do you like best?
I really like the new expansion team's logo. I think ADV did a great job designing/picking it out and it really suits the team colours well. I'd be very happy to wear that jersey someday.
What VHLM team do you want to be drafted by?
Ottawa was the first one to reach out to me. They said it's between me and another guy for first overall so I'd be very happy to go to them. I'm also happy here in MIN now that I'm finally getting top 6 minutes, but I'd also like to try out a new team.
Is your player a blonde, brunette or redhead?
Brunette.
Weirdest thing in your hockey bag?
I carry around Korean chopsticks (metal, not wooden) , I need them to eat every single meal as using a fork is for peasants 
Colored tape for your stick, totally yes or absolute no? why?
No because I like to just go raw, all that tape is a waste for the environment so I'll save it.
