Let's just be clear that it was difficult for you because as you mentioned, you weren't using the resources available (forums/portal) to find the answers, we don't expect many folks to know the answers off the top of their head. You can also still ask people for help on where to look for these answers.

wait, I am allowed to search the forums on trivia? news to me. I thought I was cheating if I did. I was guessing the whole time lol sweet. now I can finally get more than 1 point.

TBH if people are paying attention to the answers in trivia (whether they spend 5 minutes searching a "database" or the forums), we are preserving the history of the league and remembering some great names and stats.
 
The answers and history of the league is completely all over the place. in some threads, on the portal, in other subforums, in random dead excel sheets. It's very hard for new members specifically to navigate and access.
 
Personally I care way more that a member who joined last season knows a name like Greg Clegane, or a builder like Sam Helberg than how they were given/found the information. 

How do you figure that? We have literally more options than ever to hit the cap. If someone feels like their trivia is too hard they can just go and do something else. Minor tasks account for much more total TPE than people are actually able to claim so I’m not sure I really subscribe to this notion that “oh trivia is too hard” when you can just go do something easier if you find that to be the case.
 
Also where does this “threat of punishment” keep coming from? From what I have seen no one has ever said there will be any kind of punishment. It was more a “hey, if you’re doing this please stop doing it” sort of thing.

Correctly pick the series winner = 10 points
Correctly pick series length (regardless of winner) = 5 points
*Tiebreaker in the finals will be goals scored which also accounts for 15 points*
 
Payout!
Predict the cup winners (VHL = 2 / VHLE = 1 / VHLM = 1) = 4 TPE
1st Place = 6 TPE
2nd - 3rd = 5 TPE
4th - 5th = 4 TPE
6th - 10th = 3 TPE
11th - 20th = 2 TPE
21+ = 1 TPE

This is pretty cool!  How does it work?  Are the teams a mix of players from each league or are the teams separated by league and all play each other?  What ensures that the teams drafted aren't just filled with the highest rated VHL players?

The season in the VHLE ended early today with a game between the Bratislava Watchmen and the Rome Gladiators. The Gladiators won this last one by the score of 4-2 with an impressive performance of Curtis Crumb @Crummer77, who had a four-points game, Hasbulla Magomedov @Motzaburger, who scored two goals and three points and DJ Fire Dragon @Firekiss who saved 31 of the 33 shots he faced. Even though the season did not end the way we wanted, the future is bright for the organization. Indeed, the team has two first round pick, two second round pick, two third round pick and a fourth round pick in the upcoming draft. In addition, the team also has three prospects who are going to make the team next season, the forwards Vinny Lecavalier @Spartakiller2 and Tom Creeg @Creegan610 and the goalkeeper Jeremy Swayman @Agito.

You can't even construct a proper sentence, you're typing like you're straight out of grade seven. I really wish you would stop attempting to impress people when being honest and truthful gets you much further in life with adults than anything else (unless you want to be in politics, I guess). Everyone here is calling you out, not because the claims aren't possible, but because there are many different versions of the claims you are making. That is the top sign someone is fabricating a story, the fine details are never the same more than a handful of time. Also, just remember, OHL players are student-athletes and are actually expected to be above grade averages... last time I checked anyway.
 
When you claim things like you've taken McDavid one in a one on one, or 'deked out' Nurse, you have to understand that anyone with a head on their shoulders is going to question you about it simply because of one thing: If it's too good to be true, then it probably is. If it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, it's a duck. You keep creating additional stories that only dig you further into the ground and now you've made yourself a target instead of simply stopping and saying to yourself: 'Huh, okay, it seems like they're not impressed.'
 
You're not impressing anyone, and your trash talk is about as weak as a FORTNITE players.

We are reaching the point where most teams are full at the forward position, including both Mexico and Ottawa. I also feel your disappointment that new creates don't share our passion for our teams, but it would be unfair to project that disappointment towards a new player and a competitive team with open roster spaces to accommodate new talent.

Season 85 is nearing its end as Daryl Dixon and the Miami Marauders gear up for a post season run. Dixon and Miami have found a lot of success this season but Dixon can’t help but to look ahead to his future.
 
    Daryl will be drafted to both the VHLE and VHL after this season. He wants to end up being on the same team as his partner in crime, Rick Grimes. Daryl has been letting GMs know that these two are a package deal and that if they are drafted separately that he will not commit beyond his rookie contract. It’s not easy draft two high caliber prospects who want to play together but it’s been done before and they are hoping it’ll get done.
 
     Dixon also has a decision as to whether he plays in the E or up in the big league this season. Unless a team
absolutely wants him up I know he’d prefer to stay down a season and marinate in the European league. Then he will be in a much better position to have a good rookie season. 
 
   It’ll be an exciting off-season for Daryl Dixon and his counterpart Rick Grimes. Where will they end up?
