Give @Kendrick a second player and let him only earn TPE for him through recruitment. Give him the old recruitment awards AND double them as if it were a recruitment drive. The fact this league took a stance on that because they think the biggest issue was inflation and the biggest result of that was recruitment TPE should tell you my thoughts. A couple kids whined because they were being taken to the cleaners in recruitment rewards when they didn't put an ounce of work in. Not tooting my own horn, but it seemed like just because I was earning rewards they were pissed. I mean I never raised a stink when they added extra TPE to their update threads that they shouldn't have... I have moved on man, I just don't do that shit anymore. That and the people who tell me to move on or to get recruiting are the same who do jackshit in that aspect for this site. It's easy to tell someone to recruit, but when you have the same ability you can do so as well. Have giveaways on the channel, and advertise the VHL as a player sim league. Paying someone that streams NHL every day and wants a sponsor. Get in contact with multiple NHL streamers that are popular and pay them money to promote VHL. If any team needs to chance to win better things in a lottery, it should be the crap teams, not the loaded-with-actives teams. Still, I think mixing it up a bit, or adding to the existing with something to spice it up, would be great. I've thought it's been pretty useless for seasons, so I like the fact that the grumpy old man is on my side. As for rebuilding team vs active teams. Just have each player on each team complete a series of pretty simple tasks for each day of training camp. IE "Answer the following interview question and post it in the 590 article.
