4. There were only 2 trades at the trade deadline this past monday. How can GM's be incentivized to make more deadline deals?

1/ I believe they won’t catch us we just have to get on a hot streak. 
2/ Most likely it will Red Lite coming in first round. 
3/ I think Brian Strong is most underrated player on NYA.
4/ They need to help the teams that hardly have enough players for a roster. Some teams just hog all the players. 
5/ I like any NHL game or even like Vigor game is pretty fun. 
6/ I like both giving and receiving gifts. But food is best .

I would say most of the team has been underrated. Good players here.

Only deal when it fits in with the overall plan.

1- It’s been a good rookie season and I scored a lot. 
2- I think LosAngeles did surprise me. 
3- I will have to say Vancouver will  win that division. 
4- Maybe a big fat burger to eat. 
5- Rhynex gets rookie of the year.

1. Not too bad, currently a B. Need to see the ending to determine if it's an B+ (top 10 leader of any of assist, goal, points), A- (RoY), A (RoY+top 10 in any of assist, goal, points)

2. tbh us, I did not expect us to be doing this poorly with the way we were scoring

3. hate to admit it but Vancouver has not been good against Canadian teams, Montreal has a good chance, they have 2 good goalies.

1-I predict DC or Helsinki will win the Cup. 
2- Just make sure we get better at defense and goaltending. 
3- I just want to help get ya above .500 winning percentage. 
4- I don’t think so I would play for whoever I had to I guess. 
5- I love making homemade chili for the holidays. 

6- I don’t do New Years resolutions. I try to do that on a regular basis.

1) haven’t been paying attention for it since I’m in my run with Marlins 

 

2) red Lite should only be option. Reunited with the Cowboy from the M

 

3) making the jump and debuting for the Americans. I’m excited as a first gen and to see how I perform vs some of the best talent in the league.

I think Chicago takes the title and does so easily. They are on a run that seems unstoppable.

Finally draft someone good. Obviously Red Lite is the best selection here, but some rumors of a surprise selection.

 

3. What are you looking forward to next season? 

 

Probably getting attached to a VHL roster. San Diego was fun, but it's not the VHL.

 

4. Is there a VHL team you would never play for? 

 

Yes. Vancouver. I have hated that team forever and I see that dislike staying strong.

 

5. What is your favorite holiday tradition? 

 

I don't really have any holiday traditions. I hope to create some in the near future.

 

6. Do you have any New Years resolutions? If so, what are they? 

 

My #1 resolution is to both avoid Vancouver on draft day and then be on a team that kicks their ass all season long.

My jersey number will always try to be my favourite number, 72. I have no idea how I came to love the number as a kid, but it always stuck with me so I've always had that for everything number related possible. If that's not available, something around there like 70 or 71 would be sick too.

 

2. Last season the Americans ran with 3 Alternate Captains. Should someone be awarded the "C" this year?

 

Unfortunately I'm not apart of the NYA locker-room (Maybe one day...), but I'll always stick to my guns that it shouldn't go to just the highest TPE or point producer on the team, but someone who really takes the reign in the locker-room and gets along with everyone and wants to stick with the team. Thus, I'd say unless there's a consensus person to choose from, I'd say to continue to roll 3 Alternates until there's a somewhat clear choice.

 

3. Set a personal goal for yourself in S76.

 

Get drafted. Sign a contract. Discuss with both teams who draft me (VHLM + VHL) on where they'd like me to play and what kind of impact I'd have for them and make a decision on where to play. Continue to work on my defensive game as I feel like my point production as a defender is pretty solid (~.8 PPG last season as a waiver-pickup). Hopefully showcase I'm a top prospect in the league and a great up and coming defender. Fight Dlamb irl.

 

4. What is the best VHL Player name you can think of off the top of your head?

 

Lasagna Bologna (pronounced Laz-agh-nah Bowl-agh-nah)

 

5. Have you been following the real-life WJC? Who takes Gold? If answering after it has ended, who would you have liked to see win Gold? 

 

Unfortunately with me being in the EU I haven't really been paying attention as I'm usually pretty tired or already sleeping by the game starts, but I know my hometown boy Cozens is lighting it up. I'd say that Canada seems to fire on all cylinders this year and don't really seem to have any clear obvious weaknesses opposed to other years, so I'd say I can see them and want them to go for Gold.

1. 44. Both 8 and 88 are retired which is unfortunate, but 4+4=8. So there's that.

2. I think so, it helps to have one clear leader. The team could also run with some Assistant Captains.

5. I have not, I don't really watch or follow hockey other than the occasional Jackets game.

The amount of mock-drafts that come out and the amount of bickering over stuff like, "NO WAY HE GOES THERE" makes me laugh so I'm excited for the amount of these to come out in the next few days on the lead up to the draft.

Without a single doubt in my mind, it would be... @thadthrasher absolutely TOSSING it from the net to Rhynex.

I think I'd go for "Can't Stop" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I don't have a particular song I've always held onto, but you gotta throw back to the classics.

I got a 2014 Winter Classic Detroit Red Wings Gustav Nyquist Jersey and a Nickas Lidstrom Red Wings jersey. Both Red Wings legends....

MVP: Most Valuable Primate. That shit slaps harder than any hockey movie, changemymind.
