For draftees, tonight marks the culmination of your Draftee status and the next step on your VHL journey. Some of you will return to the VHLM, while some will immediately make the jump to the VHL, but each and every one of you has a future in this league, so long as you keep at it. With that said, let’s kick this thing off: New York, the floor is yours!”

    Scene One - Bailey and Pepper wearing Helsinki T-Shirt’s

Pepper is laying back on a bed watching TV in a hotel room when Bailey walks in, tosses him something wrapped in a napkin. Pepper opens it, it's a biscuit from the hotel lobby.

"Dish the biscuit." says Bailey. Pepper nods as if to say to say touche

 

Scene 2

The two are walking around town. some guys noticeably leather wallet falls out of his back pocket. Pepper calls for him to wait, picks it up, hands it back. turns to Bailey and says:

"flash the leather." another nod, similar to the first

 

Scene 3

both are out getting a bite to eat, holding chicken wings. They're about to dig in when a guy runs through the background, holding his mouth as if he's going to vomit. He runs off camera, you hear him losing his lunch off screen. bailey and pepper look at each other, disgusted, and say at the same time

"...spittin chicklets."

 

Scene 4

Pepper shows up to the practice rink. Bailey is wearing a different t-shirt, instead of the HSK one. it has a hockey graphic and reads "FERDA" across the chest. pepper raises an eyebrow, "ferda...?"

Bailey laughs, tosses him a new one that's rolled up. "it's ferda boys!" Pepper gives an impressed look, unrolls the t-shirt and looks it over, then puts it on.

 

“Wow very comfy and stylish, where do you get these.” says Pepper

 

“Why only from Ferda Apparel, with over 100 designs you can always go bardownski and wheel the puck bunnies wearing this stylish clothing.”

 

Scene 5:

 

Announcer: “You can take the boys from hockey, but you can’t take hockey from the boys. FERDA, its Ferda boys.”

 

Scene 6:

Both of them are now wearing the t-shirt. Viktor Kozlov is at his locker, and points to a huge block of cheese on the highest shelf of the locker. top cheddar is greatly implied.

"Alright boys, who did this?"
Pepper and Bailey look at each other, open their mouths as if to say it, but silently agree to let it slide as they give each other a knowing nod

The first 6 picks are in the books and I don’t think anyone in suprised about them. Carles Puigdemont is a guy way above the skill level of the others. Although he didn’t post insane numbers in the minors, you can tell that his development and hockey IQ is on a much higher level. Werbenjagermanjensen could’ve also gone first and there would be no surprise there, as its the same tale as Puigdemont, just a different position. I’m sure both teams are ecstatic to have gotten those selections.

 

Now let's go the the GM’s about the trade that saw the 5th overall pick exchange hands.

 

"I knew I wanted to snag both Roll Fizzlebeef and Elasmobranch Fish, I know both of these guys have the work ethic to be stars in the league and some Wranglers current members had pushed me to get both of them. I knew I had the pick for one  so it was a matter of obtaining the other. I went through every team around that pick area and finally Riga asked if they could have one of my firsts next season in the swap and I gave them their pick of the two others I'd obtained. It will turn into a move that we will not regret in my opinion." - Bushito
