Let’s say I played the majority of my games against weaker teams, that means Davison didn’t get many games against weaker opposition and still has some of the top stats (2nd best GAA and 3rd best in Sv% excluding the “backups”). @Poptart was easily one of the most impressive goaltenders this season along side the obvious pick in Brick Wahl who has been godlike for sure.

Oh absolutely. Davison/Wahl/Johnson are three super easy picks to me. I was just responding to why you would fall further down the list for me than your SV% would suggest.

Oh for sure, I just wanted to make sure Davison gets some love for an awesome final season ?

In spite of almost being .500, a playoff team, and having 2 of the 3 league leaders in plus/minus, Malmo has no skaters to vote for? Even Davos has one.

I'm not leaving someone off the ballot that deserves it for someone that shouldn't.

I'm not going to get angry over this, but Condor Adrienne should ABSOLUTELY be on the ballot and he isn't. 55 points and better defensive stats than most who are up there. He's not just someone who deserves to be considered, he's someone who deserves to get in. Meanwhile, on the ballot, we've also got:

Spoiler

Markus Nygren (SEA) - 4G, 9A, 13P, 20, 71PIM, 153HIT, 6SB (apologies to Devise)

I'm sure something like this was just something that went unnoticed and not anything purposefully done, but this is the guy who won the Wylde last season and produced close to that level this season, and he a) didn't get voted in last season, and b) doesn't even have the chance to get voted in this season.

Alright, I understand that this is a popularity contest and it has nothing to do with the stats and actual performance. That said - how can the third best goaltender who was carrying his team to playoffs not be top 4 in the voting? I would argue that because of stronger teams, the better 2 goaltenders had an easier go this season. So, I am just weirded out by this.

Also, Condor Adrienne was great this season, he might have not made it into All-star game just based on his stats, but he should have surely been in the voting list. He was crucial for our team and was the 2nd most important reason we actually made playoffs. There are few guys who performed worse than Condor and  they are included. All I am trying to say is that he should be acknowledged no matter if he has or hasn't a chance to make the team.

For real though, no one should be giving a shit about this. The Beaviss NHL-simmed ASG for me is a little bonus that he does but not something that is tracked or is of any relevance to anything ever. The ASG was never a perfect reflection of the best players in the league, but the obscenely expanded ballots are only ever going to make it worse.

I believe Beaviss is doing an amazing job with this. I just think that ballots could be a bit more thought through. Including guys like Nygren, Sasakamoose or Downey over Adrienne is just sad. Maybe it was an honest mistake and if so, I am fine with it.

As it has been ever since I started doing the asg......

Beav just tell @Rayzor_7 the truth, no matter who we put in net it is a gamble if they will stop anything. Every time Brick has been in an ASG he has fell on his face... Welcome to ASG goalie life where everyone sucks and the fact that your ass got picked really does not matter lol

@FrostBeard if this was a popularity contest Wahl would not even be in the running

Someone take one of my votes and switch it to Adrienne

do this for me too

changing votes get messy but we can manually track it in case enough people state their willingness to change their vote.

So that's +2 for Adrienne

@OrbitingDeath already voted for himself when it was Markus Nygren, unreal foresight.

That is because your not the Fucking goalie being lit up... I've been a top TPE goalie  for most my pro career and got my ass kicked in every ASG (I can assure you that it is not fun)

My next player will be a goaler so punish me and remind me when I'm playing goaler lol

You'll have to get someone else to punish you, if you haven't noticed i didn't recreate lol, but honestly I wish you better luck then I had as a goalie beav. The position is my fav but it can be a heart-breaker.
