Once I put Rig G back in for the playoffs Dynamo wont stand a chance.

CoachReilly reacted to Tagger in I hate to be this guy but...
Da Trifecta is absolutely right, this is completely ridiculous, we need to change this asap, I honestly cannot think of any way as to how I'd be able to find out what the time would be in other time zones.
My idea is that we convert the league to Swatch Internet Time, there are no timezones there:

CoachReilly reacted to RomanesEuntDomus in VHLM Cap Rule
The VHLM already is closer too having too many teams than too few. And the number of teams isn't the problem anyway, the problem is that each year one or two teams accumulate almost all the picks in the draft to make a run, preceded and followed by multiple years of tanking. This problem won't change with 15 or 20 teams, if anything an expansion would give even more of an incentive to use that tactic because you won't be able to ice a competitive team just by using your own picks if you already have trouble finding actives in the 2nd round of the draft, which would now consist of picks 15-30.
There already are multiple teams each season that are a non-factor in the standings because they have barely any players on the roster and/or no draft picks. If we expanded, the number of these teams would grow even larger, from maybe 2-3 to 5+ and this wouldn't be good for the league. 2-3 teams being absolutely shitty is already too much and if the sims weren't connected, I would actually be an advocate of cutting the league down to 8 teams. Even with the strong drafts we had recently the talent level isn't really there to support 10 teams, not to say 15 or 20.

CoachReilly reacted to Kesler in Sergey Brovalenko Retirement
Well this is it. Can’t believe this day is here. It feels like I’ve invested so much time in this player, and it actually really sucks this has to happen. - Stolen quote from STZ
Brovalenko was my second every player (Smirnov being the first). I put alot into this player, I have grown a lot as a member and as a graphics person. I have loved my time on this site and look forward to checking in on the site every morning and every day after school. I would like the thank guys like Koradek, Kendrick, Greg and Victor for all being my GM's and having to put up with me for how ever long I was on their teams. For the major part of Brovalenko's career I was not in a competing spot, winning the cup this past season was great and would love to repeat.
To all my teammates, you have all been great! Every teammate I have had have been so great and have been so supportive. I would do shout outs to all those who I have met on this roller coaster of a career, but the list would be so long and really, the grammar mistakes would be an un amount-able.
Yes, I will be recreating and will be posting my new guy soon, so thanks guys for reading this, I really appreciate it!

CoachReilly reacted to scoop in Toriyama to stay put, barring trades
Earlier today, Keiji Toriyama signed a three-year extension with the Vasteras Iron Eagles. This extension covers the rest of his career, meaning he will have spent no time as a free agent despite his past excitement for the prospect of becoming one. The Iron Eagles traded for Toriyama last season in the hopes that he would help their playoff cause, but instead the team fell from third to fourth place in Europe, missing the post-season completely. Toriyama had played for four different teams prior to Vasteras, having previously signed a contract extension with the Dynamo. The Dynamo later traded him before that deal was up, and he has been traded around since then. He has probably never played more than two consecutive seasons with a single team, and it isn't guaranteed that he will with Vasteras. There is the possibility that he would be traded or that he may retire (probably won't happen, but more words).
Last season, Toriyama was on pace for the best season of his career before being traded. After being traded, he continued to finish up his best season ever, but his production did decline with Vasteras. I would like to point out that these two previous lines are my favorite of the article. Anyway, he finished the season with 98 points, including a top ten finish in goals with 44. He participated in three fights, two of which he lost, while the third ended in a draw.

sterling - you're wrong. completely misinterpreted fresco's statement. he didn't say anything that contradicted or attacked yours. you're a sociology major if i'm not mistaken, and yes, you are intelligent regarding these matters. you're going apples to oranges on this though, ya jabroni.
