Congrats to @DollarAndADream  and @CowboyinAmerica for beating me for awards. Hard to be upset losing to such quality users. 

Tiring of winning so much that we need a break. Taking the summer to enjoy life and come back and hard in the fall. Thanks to @Banackock and the Bears on another title win!

Russia has and always will be a bully. They wiped out millions of Ukrainians during the Holodomor and we can only hope this unprovoked attack doesn’t end up as tragically.

 

Hopefully this isn’t only the beginning. The world did nothing when Germany invaded Poland in 1939, and Hitler decided to see how far he could take it. Hopefully some country or countries do the right thing and step in before it’s too late.

47. Thoughts on the Bears season? We're slowly starting to turn it around!! Not bad I guess

48. How is your player doing? Bit of a sophomore slump, but we’ll turn it around 

49. Any suggestions you'd have to help the Bears? Sign an Evander Kane type to give us a boost 

50. How is your time on the VHL going? Not nearly as fun as it used to be. Lots of PC SJWs around now. Bans and suspensions being handed out like condoms on valentines. I’ll probably be suspended for that too lol.

41. Who is going to win the Super Bowl? If it's over, who did you think was going to win? Figured the Rams would win with all their hired guns. I was cheering for Cincy as they were the underdog. Not really a fan of either, but glad it was another good game 

42. If you watched the Super Bowl, did you have any snacks? What did you have?? We had nachos, chips, wings and pop and other goodies. Had a few people over. Good time. 

43. What were your thoughts on Eminem, Snoop, Kendrick, MJB and Dre's half time show? Pumped for this.. Not a big rap fan, but it was a much better show than what we’ve seen recently 

44. If you had to plan a half time show, who would you have perform? Alexisonfire with Volbeat, Staind and Brett Kissel

45. Your VHL player is in a Super Bowl ad with some teammates. What is the ad and what's it for? We’d be in the Chevy commercial with Walter the cat

Stop giving tpe away like it’s a participation trophy. Up costs for attributes over 85, 90 and 95. Or do as other leagues do, use positional archetypes with capped attributes in some categories. It’s a good start. 

70. What are your overall thoughts on the Bears season? I think we did good. Would’ve been better to win it all though

71. What are your overall thoughts on how your player did? Good for a rookie, should be in consideration for rookie of the year, but not much faith in the voters

72. Who do you think wins in the next round - Calgary or Vancouver? Can neither win? That would be great 

73. Who wins between Moscow and Malmo? I like Moscow. We’ll go with them 

74. Of the two you picked, who wins the cup? Moscow would be my choice

38. How has your player done this season? Really well so far. Didn’t have real high expectations, but definitely holding his own and then some 

39. Who has been the Bears MVP so far? You can name more than one! GM Bana of course. Can’t win without great management 

41. What team is the biggest surprise so far in the VHL? Seattle for sure. I’m not sure how well people thought we’d do, but we’re killing it

1. How often do you go out? Very rarely, maybe once or twice a year. I'm old and married and turning into an introvert as time goes on

2. What is your sign? I think Virgo. Whatever early September is.

3. Do you think astrology is crazy or accurate? It's a waste of time and money. You make who you are and not a fictitious random thing

4. What piece of technology do you hope you will see in your lifetime? Something I can dump raw ingredients into and it'll cook and cut and wash everything and cook whatever recipe I scan into it

5. What’s your favourite food to cook? Mashed potatoes 

6. If you could replace or add any body parts what would they be and why? Another arm and hand would sure be helpful for many projects

1. Now that the off-season has begun what how do you like the moves made so far? Great moves. Looks like we’ll be a really good team. 

2. Do you have any goals for your player next season? Lots of wins and shutouts. 

3. Who do you think the Bears will be drafting 4th,6th,12th?? Don’t watch the draft at all. So not too sure. 

4. Where do you think the team should be next season? Rebuilding still or should we move out of the rebuilding phase after this class?  I think we’ll take a big step and maybe make the playoffs 

5. Do you think the bears will be better than last season? Yes for sure. We’ll be a handful out there. 

6. How are you going to spend the off-season? Prepping for the regular season 

Well the VHLE was an experience. After finding out I’d be playing for the Vikings in the VHLE I went to work to build on the success I had in the VHLM with Miami. A good regular season has us feeling pretty confident going into the first playoffs, but alas we lost in 7 games in the opening round. Not sure I played my best in the playoffs, but such is life. 
 

Now onto my rookie season in the VHL! Both players in the sports agency I belong to, won championships in Seattle and it looks like I’ll get an opportunity to do the same. Dan Wilinsky won one late in his career and Randy Marsh won early in his with the Bears. I’m hoping for similar early success with a great group of players. The GM here is a really great human being and from all accounts is a genius when it comes to building a hockey team. 

 

We’ll see how year one goes!! 

1. As a Seattle Bears player, does the stereotype of bears liking honey bother you? Not at all. Bears love honey and so do I

2.  Is it going to be a busy off-season? Do we see a lot of trades in VHL this off-season? Very busy. I bet there is a huge upheaval 

3.  Was it a surprise to see both finalists go 4-0 in the semi-finals? Ya, you'd think things would be more competitive 

4.  Have you watched the finals? Or did you watch the finals? Not at all

5.   What kind of training camp will we have in Seattle? Lots of fun. Hopefully anyhow

6.   If Seattle asks you to take part in the draft by being there to announce a pick or just to welcome the new players to the organization - will you take part? Of course! That would be so cool

 

1. Merchandise is a great way to support the Bears. What is the weirdest item or object you have seen the Bears logo in?  A crack pipe in downtown Seattle

2. Should VHL organize summer league for teams that are not in the playoffs? No, theres enough hockey, need a break

3. Seattle took the second most penalty minutes in the league this season, fair or did the refs really want to throw Bears into the box? They only see one team out there

4.  For you as a player, is there any benefits for not making the playoffs?  None at all. Playoffs are a part of the goal every year

5.  Is 15 to 20 minutes between each period too long of a break ? I think it's about right

6. Do you follow the equipment industry to keep up with the latest innovations? No not really

1. We have secured first place in the league and we are the first team ever to do so we in the E, was this your expectation? Always. Gotts shoot for first and a championship
2. Did you meet any individual goals this season? I'd say a few. Won the most games, but didn't lead in GAA or SP
3. What do you think contributed to our regular season success? Well big time I think. All starts in goal
4. Do you think you’re making the jump up to the VHL after this season? Are you excited to do so? Ya I have to being at 400. I am excited
5. Who is your favourite hockey player of all time? Doug Weight
6. Did anything change with your players training now that we are near the first ever VHLE playoffs? No, just stuck with what worked

3.      What is your favourite NHL team and why do you like them? Edmonton Oilers. I'm from Northern Alberta and how can you not love them???

4.      What does it mean to be a Stockholm Viking to you? It's pretty fun, cool logo, good team. I enjoy it

5.      If we had a mascot, what would his name be and how would you design him? His name would be Lars and he'd look like Tormund Giantsbane fro GOT
