    1. Our lineup looks awesome, as someone who's been traded here I'm excited to see how we can continue to play into the playoffs.
    2. I'm not entirely sure, maybe a untion jack style jersey covered in stripes.
    3. I'm banking TPE right now to fight regression and I plan to use some shop items.
    4. I usually look at points and penalty minutes, right now my points are abysmal and my penalty minutes are still good though.
    5. I'm not sure at the moment, might be a meme so that I'm not just the laughing stock of the VHL just because of my point totals.
    6. Top hats and monocles. easy

So last time on Good or Bad, I listed London United as Good, and rightfully so as currently they are second place in their conference. But this time I'm going over a team that's already looking good, but I'll still try my best to label them as either GOOD or BAD.

So today we're looking at the New York Americans, who are currently tied for 3rd place in the North American Conference with 27 wins 22 losses and 4 OT losses for a total of 58 points. This teams record might not look amazing as it's just a bit over a .500 win percentage, but you gotta remember that the NA conference is being absolutely DOMINATED by Seattle and Chicago. So without any further delays, lets take a gander at this team.

This team has a lot of talent on the top end of the lineup, and the rookies and younger players seem to make up the lower half of the list, dragging the TPA totals down a little bit, however that's not a bad thing at all. This team as a young core coming in and developing, while also maintaining an awesome goalie, and a very solid defensive core. This team is solid, and I think they could surprise us all with a deep playoff run this year. They also have nearly eight million dollars in cap space still. This team was the bottom of the league a few seasons ago, and now it appears that they've shrugged that off and continued pushing forward to a third place position in their conference.

I see almost no real glaring problems with this team, it's built smart and it's built by a GM who obviously knows what he's doing. So a quick hats off to @Esso2264for putting together this roster as well as they have. I think this team has more than what it takes to do well not only in this season but many more to come, dare I say... Dynasty? I don't think I could label this team as bad, and I think that it's more than fair to give them a GOOD, and potentially even a GREAT.
Want to know what else is great about this team? While Seattle and Chicago are expected to win big, this team isn't and still does anyways. I don't see any team in NA beating them, and we'll see how long of a run they can go on this post season, and we'll see what moves they make in the offseason as well.

Anyways I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I'd better grab my helmet, jockstrap, and mouthguard. Stay warm and stay Icey seacrest out.

    Nicholas Sunderbruch, a star forward for the Toronto Legion has been traded to London United! This blockbuster trade includes the following;

Toronto Acquires: Season 70 second round pick (LDN)

London Acquires: Nicholas Sunderbruch, Season 80 third round pick (PRG)

While this trade is hardly a blockbuster trade in itself, it's still an acquisition by the London United that adds depth to their already stacked roster. Sunderbruch's role is that of a depth goal scorer that can come in clutch at big times, unfortunately this wasn't always the case, in his rookie season the left winger put up 27 goals and 47 assists to add up to 74 points in 72 games. While that success may have prompted the league to turn their eyes to the young winger, the hype slowly died down as Sunderbruch put up 50 points in each of his next two seasons. And while that's impressive for someone who was teetering between the second and third line, the worst was yet to come. This season in 51 games, Nicholas has 8 goals and 6 assists for only 14 points, the struggle to gain points wasn't for a lack of TOI, but merely some bad games on the season.

         When asked interviewed about the trade and his decline in the season, this is what he had to say;

Interviewer: Nicholas, you were traded to a serious playoff contender, how do you feel about this trade?

Sunderbruch: I was a little shocked, I woke up and made myself a bowl of cereal, and as I'm eating I check my phone and see that I've been traded. I'm excited to be playing in a city as amazing as London, but it's a far way from my home, so I hope that I fit in well.

Interviewer: Do you have anything you'd like to say to the people here in Toronto before you fly out to London?

Sunderbruch: Toronto is a beautiful city and I really enjoyed playing here, I'm glad I got the opportunity to meet some fans and to play with some of the guys that I did, I'm really gonna miss Scotty, the guy was a bright light in the locker room and I'm glad to have met him. So I guess I just wanna say thank you!

Interviewer: One final question before you leave, how do you feel about your stats this season? Do they reflect you, the team, or just bad luck?

Sunderbruch: I think it really just reflects on how hard it can be to get points in the VHL, I mean this league is the most competitive in the world and the defenses of every team is solid and surpasses even NHL quality players. So honestly I just have to work harder to get the puck in the back of the net.

Interviewer: Thank you, enjoy your time in London.

As one can see this has been a hard year for Sunderbruch, but he seems determined to get his name on the cup at least once before his career comes to a close.

So I haven't done one of these in a long time, and seeing as how I really need the reputation to beat @Quik to win the day, I'll do another Good or Bad article. So if you haven't already read the first two installments of this series, I essentially look at a teams roster, their cap situation, and their effectiveness on the ice, and try to make a decision on whether they are good, or bad. So today we're going to be looking at London United, a team GM'd by @McWolf and the assistant GM @MattyIce. So without further ado lets take a look at this roster and to draw a conclusion on whether London is GOOD or BAD.

But in practice there are some glaring issues, the defense. While this team has players such as Killinger and Kankkunen, they still have a problem in the likes of lack of depth. What I mean is while Knale and Power are good players, they're both just rookies and need time to grow into their own. I see this defensive core looking stronger in the future but the biggest reason the average TPA on their defensive core is even above 500 is because of their two super stars. At the moment I'll say their defense needs to work hard and gain some experience and they'll absolutely be a power house. I didn't list prospect players as this article is only going to highlight the current roster. Their offensive core looks awesome, and I'm glad to see such high totals, however I don't know if I like their only being two actual wingers, they seem to be playing centers on the wing which has no penalty technically, however they still have the issue of them investing TPE into faceoffs. Friedrikson seems to be inactive and depreciating, so I don't see this man playing much in the future as his contract is expiring and I don't know any team who wants to pick up an inactive goalie in free agency.           This season London United is a little in the red when it comes to the cap, they're deep about 1.75 million in the red, and honestly I see that going away as next season they won't have to deal with having an aging inactive goalie to pay. So cap wise I see this team maybe moving a few players around to acquire picks and shed some cap space no problem. Maybe they could move a center for a few picks and use one of those picks to trade or draft a winger or two in the future, as it seems this team has a monopoly on centers. Overall I like how this teams cap situation looks for the future, but I don't think this season will be as good with the problems they're currently facing.         Overall I like this team, but they have issues. I don't think that they're a team who will thrive in the playoffs, but I think they're a team who makes the playoffs. They were in fact on my power ranking list for the European Conference earlier, and only time will tell if they stay that way. So for now I'm going to have to say that this team is probably GOOD but they need work in order to be great. They may even become a rebuilding team in the future if their defensive core doesn't grow as expected. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they're good, and could even be great given some time and careful planning.        THIS TEAM HAS BEEN DEEMED GOOD

Toronto has had some ups an downs the last two seasons, not making the playoffs in either season 75 or 76. However things have changed in a fairly short amount of time. Not only has Toronto made the playoffs, but they finished 2nd in the North American conference, and 5th overall in the league. A feat that last year would have taken a miracle. Lets take a look at this impressive season from the Social Club in Toronto, and explain why this teams mentality is either cup, or bust.

Early on this season Toronto was expected to try for contention after a two season rebuild phase, and that expectation seems to have made reality. Before the season had even officially started chants in the locker room of "WIN FOR ROOKIE" could be heard all the way across the league, from Toronto to Seattle, from Moscow to London, and from New York to Prague. Toronto's legendary goal keeper Jaxx Hextall @ROOKIE745 is set to retire after the end of this season. No one wanted this legends career to end with only two times making the playoffs, so @Peacetook it upon himself to make it a 3rd appearance for Hextall.

In past playoff appearances Hextall played a total of 19 games, with a record of 10-8-1, and a SV% of 0.916, and a GAA of 2.85. Pretty impressive numbers in my own humble opinion. I can see Hextall playing just as well if not better this postseason and expect his stats to go up, possibly with some hardware to go with it. Many players are making their postseason debut with the Legion, including the following; Asher Reinhart @rjfryman, Gunnar Odinsson @BOOM, Jon Webber @Webberj, Lester Green @Smarch, Phoenix Dawson @Toast, Scotty Kaberle @fromtheinside, Kristof Welch @Juice, Jolly Greene Giant @DoktorFunk, Sirkants Klamasteris @hedgehog337, and Nicholas Sunderbruch @me. That's 10 out of 14 players on the roster making their first ever appearance in the playoffs. And that's incredible to see this team make it this far with an inexperienced core.

Players who HAVE seen the playoffs besides Hextall include, SS Hornet @McWolf Oh Sens @osens and Micah Adrienne @Poptart.
Can these four players prepare the newcomers for their first playoff berth? We'll have to find out as the playoffs go on, and I think that Toronto has a lot to prove this season. The things Toronto is looking to prove is as follows:
    1. They belong with the big dogs
    2. They can win in the face of adversity and not just be streaky.
    3. That this team will be here even after Hextall is gone.

I feel as though we'll see a potential Championship in the city of Toronto, hopefully we'll see some amazing hockey. Only time will tell, and this team has plenty of it. My prediction is that Toronto will earn what's rightfully theirs, the Cup. And as this team continues to impress the hockey world, they'll prove that they belong at the top of the hockey kingdom. This team is likely to move through their conference fairly easily and make it to the finals, where they'll be tested by a very strong European conference.

So we approach a point in the season where we can start predicting which teams will make the playoffs or not. I'll be doing a top 5 power ranking of teams in each conference that I believe to be on top of the hockey world right now. Things on this power ranking are subject to change the next time I make a list like this, so fasten those helmet straps because it's time for a lesson.

What else is there to say? A team that seems to have it all.
With star players in the likes of, John Merrick, Jeffery Pines, and Jiggly Gumballs, this team is STACKED.
LA is looking to make a deep run in the playoffs with their solid defensive core, and their hot shot net minder.
Did I mention how hard it is to score on Doug Dimmadome? Even when he was in the minors he was hot.
So be on the lookout for a potential cup run from the Stars.

Toronto is putting up a hell of a fight this season with their veteran goal tender retiring once they're finished.
With the slogan #WinForRookie trending all over Toronto media, is it any surprise theses guys got their asses in gear?
With a stud filled roster we have names like, Lester Green, Oh Sens, Scotty Kaberle, Jaxx Hextall, and many more.
This team is absolutely stacked in terms of offensive talent AND defensive talent.
The blue line has only allowed 64 goals so far this season, and likely to barely rise by the time the season concludes.
I see this team winning big this season, and I see them winning it all.
So look out for this solid team.

    3. Chicago Phoenix 30 points
Tied for first place but third on this list is the Phoenix.
A team with some incredible talent, but also facing cap problems.
I feel like if Chicago wasn't in the cap situation they're in I'd have them at number two.
Chicago has some excellent talent such as; Christian Mingle, Robin Winter, Spencer Elsby, and Matty Socks.
This team has a goals for of 84, which is the most in the conference.
I see Chicago potentially winning it all this season, but this season could be their last chance before they have to resign a ton of talent.

    4. Seattle Bears 21 points
A team not far from the spoils of playoff success but dropping lower and lower as time progresses.
The only reason I have the Bears in the number four spot is only because I hate the city of Vancouver.
Seattle has usually been on top of the hockey world from what I gather from my limited knowledge of past seasons.
Seattle bolsters faces such as, Jim Bob, Isabella Campbell, Marshall James Frostbeard, and Rara Rasputin.
This roster has a ton of depth with a decent amount of star power to back them up.
Seattle likely makes the playoffs but loses in the first or second round in my opinion.
But hey, STHS could make them sweep the playoffs for all I know.
    @jRuutu @Banackock @FrostBeard @Victor

    5. Vancouver Wolves 21 points
I really don't like this city, I once got stuck in the freezing cold at the bus stop for hours there.
Not going to lie, that was hell, especially being a Florida man myself.
But this team is essentially even with Seattle in all ways in my opinion.
Vancouver's top players include, SS Hornet, Andrew Su, Onde Sandstrom, and Micah Adrienne.
This team seems to be more focused on scoring goals rather than keeping them out of the net, with a goal differential of only 2.
I think both the Wolves and the Bears are the weakest in the top 5 here.

    1. Prague Phantoms 32 points
The Phantoms are currently the highest ranked team in the league.
This team hangs with the big boys any time any day, with an explosive offense and a tight defense.
Pragues top skaters include, Thomas Landry II, Battre Sandstrom, Riley Knight Gee, and Dan Baillie Jr.
It's clear that defensively this team is unstoppable with only 55 GA, mainly because of their net minder Grekkark Gyrfalcon (I'm dyslexic and hate this name)
This team i my favorite to win it in the European Conference this year.
    @diamond_ace  @Doomsday @wcats @Acydburn  @KnightRiley @Sharkstrong

    2. Warsaw Predators 29 points
The second place team in the European Conference is also second on our power rankings.
With the best offense in the conference, and the highest goal difference, this team might just be a little better than Prague.
Warsaw offers many great players such as, Dakota Lamb, Aloe Dear, Latrell Mitchell, and Ajay Krishna.
This team is ridiculous and you likely don't want to be playing pipes against their destructive offensive core.
I see this team making it far in the playoffs, if not all the way this year.

Yeah third place in both the league, and this list goes to the Titans.
With a Goal difference of 16 Helsinki is poised to be another potent offensive warrior this season.
With incredible talent like, Valtteri Vaakanainen, Venus Thightrap, Emi Rune, And Zamboni Driver, the Titans are one of the hottest roster out there.
The reason I appreciate the Titans so much is their goal keeper, it's said that he beat the Maple Leafs by himself, when they employed him.
Helsinki is likely a top contender in Europe this season, and likely to make a second round appearance.

    4. HC Davos Dynamo 22 points
Moving up in the official standings from 5th to 4th in my rankings.
Dynamo has a weak game in general, barely staying above .500 by a thread.
This team is an easy first round knock out to a lower seed or a anyone else in my opinion.
However they do offer talent in the form of, Taro Tsujimoto, Tyler Walker, and Kunibuni Unguri.
A team with an offensive roster that averages under 400, I just don't see this team winning a cup soon.
    @GustavMattias @Advantage @Berocka

    5. London United 23 points
Another team barely above .500 is London United.
A team that while in the standings is better than HC Davos, is likely worse in reality.
A team in London already sucks, because I also had a bad experience in England, I was 13 and when I noticed the London Bridge was not indeed falling down, I lost my fucking mind.
London has players that we can list off such as, Mikko Lahtinen, Kevin King, and Kasper Kankkunen.
Honestly Kankkunen is my favorite player on this team, once a former Ace with me and I know that he's just awesome at what he does.
I see London absolutely making the playoffs, doing well for a few games, maybe squeezing into the second round, and getting obliterated.
However I admit that this team is better than the sim gives them credit for, I just don't argue with Simon.

Well that concludes this power ranking list, I hope you all enjoyed me talking shit about the teams you're on, and telling you why Toronto will win it all.
Thank you all for reading, and please tell me what you think in the comments, tell me more about why your team is better than I give them credit for. You're allowed to be wrong. Anyways I hear my dad coming home from the bar for real this time, I'd better grab my helmet, jockstrap, and mouth guard. Stay warm, and stay icey, Seacrest out.

We tried building a defensive dynamo and we arguably had one of the best defensive rosters in the league a couple seasons ago. Trying a different approach now hoping this works out better. Great article! Keep it up!

Yeah it was rough beginnings but now on paper we have some talent and a good mix of old and new.  London is on a good path in good hands, and thanks for the writeup!

         ROSTER
        Left Wing:
    Jon Strider 328 TPA @Strider

       Center:
    Mikko Lahtinen 962 TPA @Beketov
    Kevin King 815 TPA @IamMOOSE
    Julian Nousiainen 695 TPA @okochastar
    Alec Volchenkov 675 TPA @SirRupertBarnes
    That Dude 338 TPA @Cornholio

        Right Wing:
The Terrible Trivium 777 TPA @der meister   Average Offensive TPA: 755     Defense: Erik Killinger 904 TPA @Peace Kasper Kankkunen 790 TPA @16z Rusty Knale 283 TPA @HatrickRoy Kelly Power 242 TPA @Nordin   Average Defensive TPA: 554   Goalie: Jacob Tonn 974 TPA @MexicanCow123 Nils Friedriksen 343 TPA @Biggreen10   Average Goalie TPA: 658   Average Team TPA: 655        On paper, and in theory this team is a good, VHL pro team.

I hope so, honestly y'all are looking good, just that cap space issue may be a problem in the future if nothings done, but you've likely got a plan and I trust in it. Y'all are good
