So today I'm going to go over the three best positions in hockey to play, ranked by the ease of their role. Now Nick, you can't just rank positions by how easy they are, each role is nuanced right? That's what you're thinking, and you're wrong for thinking it, never contact me again with your hippy every role is equal bullshit. There's a reason people watch hockey alright, it's the fighting and the goals. Now if you're unfortunate enough to not be able to do that, well I got good news. You're perfect for these three roles since you're not built to be a real man.

    1. Goalie
Yeah these guys are nerds, what else can I say?
The job of being a goalie isn't too hard, I mean the Leafs lost to a 42 YEAR OLD ZAMBONI DRIVER.
If that nerd who just drives a big ice broom could beat them, then I'd assume any child with a large pillow in their jersey could as well.
I'd give this role a pass in some ways, because sometimes you get hit in the throat with a puck, so you gotta have balls to play, and I like balls.

    2. Center
Sidney Crosby plays center, you know all the nerds want to play here.
I mean if Sid the kid can do it, so can you champ. So get out there and play center, your main job is to be a snake.
And by snake I mean to dive like you took scuba lessons in Hawaii for 6 years.
So please consider taking roller blading as a hobby if you wanna play center.

    3. Defense
This ones fairly obvious, all you gotta do is stand in front of the net and not move.
Playing defense is like playing a video game on easy mode, sure it's fun but where's the reward?
If you want to play defense all you have to do is be a big guy who punches drywall and blames people around him for his hand hurting afterward.
So in order for you to actually play defense, all you have to do is not play at all.

Thank you all for reading my completely legit top three easiest roles to play. There's absolutely no logical fallacies at play in this article, it's as structurally sound and as useful as the United Nations. (haha politics haha funny man go brrr) Anyways thanks again, I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I'd better get my helmet, mouthguard and jockstrap. Stay warm, and stay icy. Seacrest out.

Review: I really enjoyed reading about your experiences in this draft, I know that with Spartan moving up to Moscow you got a lot to deal with now. But I'm glad to see you rise to the occasion, and I know you're going to do alright. Proper grammar was nice, I loved your use of colors as well. Overall this article was very easy to read and the fact you got to pick 69th overall in your first draft that's just perfect. Vegas love baby. 10/10

review: A great post about a very special player, media spot is well paced, and separated nicely. Good coverage of of the player and his dedication to the team and stats to back up why he's such a great goalie. It's awesome to see the inspiration he has had on other players as well. A totally none biased review 10/10

I know that rosters are still changing, and that players are still being traded around, lines haven't all been finished yet. But I want to rank the top teams in the country this season. And I'll get started with our number one pick.

    1.Toronto Legion
This team is my clear favorite this season, not just because Toronto is due a run.
But because the players are playing for more than just themselves.
They're playing for Jaxx Hextall, their goalie who's going to retire this season.
I see the legion putting up point this season as well, acquiring new picks in the draft like Asher Reinhart.
Not only a respected member of the VHL, but also a stud who should've gone first overall in my opinion.
The Legion not only have a solid offensive core, but their defensive core is absolutely beautiful as well.
With players such as Scotty Kaberle, and Jolly Green Giant.
Expect the Legion to not only make the playoffs, but to dominate as well.

    2.Moscow Menace
With a scary good draft, Moscow looks set to take on anyone this season.
Moscow has picked up not only Duncan Idaho, but they also managed to acquire Paul Atreides.
Two incredible rookies looking to make an impact on the league, and both of them are on this team.
Not only does Moscow have some top tier talent, but they've acquired a new GM in Spartan.
A talented young GM who used to manage the Vegas Aces, a team who may not have seen post season success, but he was amazing with first gens and remakes.
I feel like a lot of people are going to sleep on Moscow unfairly, but let them prove you wrong, Spartan would love to.

    3.D.C. Dragons
God this team is scary on paper, unfortunately being scary on paper doesn't win cups.
Despite DC having an objectively good team, they've seen very little playoff success.
However anything can change and I think it will.
D.C. is just itching to prove to the hockey world that they belong, and they will stop at nothing to do so.
With an offensive core composed of impressive players like, super star winger Groovy Dood they can't fail right?
The defensive core of the Dragons might be even better thought with players like, Alex Letang, and DeFenz Mann, the dragons will be a hard team to score on.
Speaking of hard to score on Stone Wolski is cashing in at 863 TPA and ready to win big.

Jaxx Hextall is nearing his final season before retirement, this future hall of famer is not only a celebrity on the ice, but also in the locker room.
The Toronto Legion have all came together to put in extra work, to do everything we can this season to get him his cup. The past two seasons Toronto has missed the playoffs, but their tenured net minder hasn't complained a single time. I'd like to do an article where I can praise @ROOKIE745for his excellence, not only in Toronto but in the league as a whole.

When I first stepped into the locker room here in Toronto, not only did I love how welcoming Jaxx was, I loved how great this man played. He would stretch his body in crazy ways just to stop the puck from entering the net. And you can ask anyone who's played against us these last few seasons, Jaxx is not an easy man to score on. With 176 career wins, a .917 save percentage, and over 13,000 saves, Jaxx has solidified himself as not just a player, but a leader of the highest caliber, not only in Toronto, but also across the league. Hextalls determination, and shear love he has for his team and the game has really made an impact on me as a player, and makes me want to strive to be even half as great as he is.

Hextall might not be the flashiest goalie to ever play in the VHL, but he has more heart than anyone else I've ever played with. He's played 390 games in his career with Toronto, and he's going to retire in Toronto. Our star goalie is leaving us at the end of the season, and after all he's done for us, the Legion have committed to winning the cup this year, for him, for our fans, and for our amazing GM @Peace. Hextall may be retiring this season, but win or lose, he's decided to do it with us. And nothing makes me happier than to play alongside this man one last season, and suit up every game with him.

And to you Jaxx, thank you for the inspiration you've given us younger players, and thank you for the dedication you bring to the Ice night after night. The fans love you, management loves you, the boys love you, and the world loves you. No matter how this season ends, we're playing with you until the last buzzer rings, and hopefully after that we can celebrate our victory with some Champagne. Because of your leadership, I believe that we're going to win, and wwe'e going to win big. I'm not worried about the future, because you taught us what this game is all about, family, the kind that goes out and bleeds for one another. Don't be worried about us, because after you leave, we'll use what you've taught us. Lets win a cup, and lets kick some ass. #WinForRookie

    @Peace @ROOKIE745 @rjfryman @fromtheinside @DoktorFunk

    @Spartan @OrbitingDeath  @Mr_Hatter

NickSunderbruch got a reaction from G_Rush in My Experience So Far
I've been part of the Toronto Legion for two seasons, and I'd like to share some of my experience and what I've learned from my time in the League and in my locker room. I'll start off with my time in the VHLM for a brief moment as I have some people in mind I want to talk about in particular. So I was picked up as a free agent in season 72 and it was an awesome experience at first. I was welcomed into the Vegas locker room by @Spartanwho took a chance on a first gen free agent who played in 2018 but quickly went inactive. So him taking a chance on me like that was a huge confidence booster, and really showed how confident he was in himself to get me to be able to update. I also met some linemates in my first season like @fonziGG , @G_Rush, and @Crstats23who all showed me immense love and support. My second season seemed to fly by as I was on the second line with @frescoelmo , The second season was even more enjoyable than the first. Mainly because we made a deep playoff run and were a top contending team. I was capped by the time playoffs arrived so I knew I was going to move up. While I was saddened when we lost in 7 games to the eventual champs, I was still happy to play alongside my teammates for the last time.

Then I was tossed into the pros, I stepped into the Toronto locker room, and things felt kind of off for me. I knew that we were a team who wasn't going to be competing and I was happy to just pad my stats and move forward hopefully to the ROTY award. We had some, unsavory, people making the Toronto locker room kind of hostile feeling and it made me less keen to want to update. But my rookie of the year race pushed me forward. While at the end of the season, we didn't make the playoffs and it was apparent I wasn't in the discussion for ROTY, and I was okay with that, but the locker room presence hadn't changed much. You see we had some, as you'd say conflicting personalities in the locker room, and they ended up eventually being traded away as they didn't seem to fit with the locker room dynamic @Peacewas trying to build. I was relieved to see that I could breathe in the locker room, however the damage was already done.

My sophomore season in Toronto started off rough, I was putting up some points but not nearly at a pace I was satisfied with, and on top of the locker room shock I had experienced I had many new things pop up in my real life. I gradually started updating less and less, I felt my interest not just in the league, but with hockey itself start to fade. And that's when I knew something was wrong. After a few weeks of this, I started to actively participate in the league again. I didn't know where to begin, but it was at the end of the season so I knew that it was too late for me to help change the season around for my team. And honestly I feel insanely guilty for that, my not updating likely caused us to lose key games that were close. We ended up getting the 6th overall pick, and we did fairly well in the draft lottery. So the future absolutely seems better. I'm going to be updating more and I'm going to try and make my GM and team proud.

I'll always remember what Peace told me when he drafted me back in S73, he told me he thinks I had the potential to be the biggest steal of the draft. I don't personally think that I was, however I'm going to make sure I am now. Toronto is back on for S77, and we're going to win the cup with style. I hope you all enjoyed this article this week, give me some ideas for things I can cover around the league for next week. Anyways, take it easy, stay warm, and stay icy. Seacrest out.
