  1. Helsinki ruined my pick em. And to think I almost picked you guys to win the cup... disgraceful. Yall are better than this
  2. Another assist baby lets go, good start to the year for me
  3. Review- Overall good analysis of the Bulls draft this year. You guys have a decent team this year, especially with Viktor Kozlov. Kirbsson is also an up and comer, and Kari Jurri is pretty good as well. He already has 79 scoring, but I'm sure you already knew that. The goalie Owen May is looking like a raw prospect this year, and may struggle. But if he stays active, you guys will be fine. Griffin is going to be solid for you guys too. Good job on this media spot, I particularly liked how you gave each player multiple qualities and things for them to work on.
  4. Review- I liked the way you interwined your own 'experiences' with your suggestions. Your Be Involved suggestion was definitely the best of the three, but all three were good tips for new players. Your tip about figuring out your own path to greatness was also great. Very well put, and well written media spot. BladeMaiden is a good GM as well (even though they didn't pick me for AGM). Good luck in the VHLM for this year and I hope to see you in the VHL down the road
  5. Review- Beaviss will make sure you play plenty of games after what happened last playoffs with the backup goalie situation lol. You are obviously playing well in this early stage of your career. The way this media spot flows makes it very easy to read and flows very naturally. I like the interview style of it, but it isn't choppy, where a reporter asks a question and then their is a short answer, and they go back and forth. Great job
  6. Review- That was a very well written rookie profile. The only probably is that this is only 524 words while I believe they are supposed to be 800. Other than that, it was an interesting story to read. Retire my boy Wayne Douglas Chard's jersey already. Very nice comeback story and his personal battles make you root for him. Good luck in the VHL!
  7. @Beketov When I checked the standings, two teams were listed as Retired/FA. They were Vancouver and Moscow. 1 Retired/FA 5 5 0 0 10 19 9 10 W5 2 New York Americans 5 3 1 1 7 21 18 3 W1 3 Riga Reign 4 3 1 0 6 16 11 5 W3 4 Toronto Legion 5 3 2 0 6 17 17 0 L1 5 Seattle Bears 4 2 1 1 5 16 16 0 SOL1 6 HC Davos Dynamo 5 2 3 0 4 16 18 -2 W1 7 Calgary Wranglers 4 1 3 0 2 9 12 -3 L3 8 Helsinki Titans 4 1 3 0 2 10 16 -6 L2 9 Retired/FA 4 0 3 1 1 10 17 -7 L3
  8. I knew Vancouver would be good, thats why I took the GOAT Beau Louth as MVP
  9. Riga Helsinki Toronto Seattle
  10. Is there an award for worst player. I deserve an award for my historically atrocious performance for this world cup
  11. Out of the four reviews I've done today, this was definitely my favorite one. Last year it seems you had a disappointing year, and you will likely take a big leap forward. Don't be humble, I could see a 50 point season headed your way this upcoming season. The article itself flowed well and felt like something I could actually be scrolling through theScore and read, it felt like we were talking about real people. Great job
  12. Review- Nice job analyzing the Houston Bulls. For an expansion team, Houston look pretty good, especially with Kozlov. You and Jurri should also be up at 200 TPE by the end of the year if you guys keep it up. Unless I just missed it, who is brothers with Sederstrom? I think it is Rhys Chism, but not sure. You and Kozlov will be a dangerous combination though, and the Bulls look good. All in all it was a good read for me
  13. Weekly installments to the VHL Chronicles will take place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Based off of Bleacher Reports "Game of Zones" *Note: This takes place before the Matt Thompson and Sebastian Ironside signings* Moscow. Winter is upon thee. Heavy snowfall covers the Russian lands. King Victor sits upon his throne, awaiting his fellow GMs sacrifices. His jester, covered in red and yellow with little bells, runs up to the King. “My lord Victor!” he says, while bowing down. “We have received your first sacrifice.” “And who is it” “New York. They sacrificed the likes of Ryan Zabby,-“ “Take him! He fits us well” “Don’t you want the other names?” His jester asked. “No! Bring me Zabby. I want him.” Victor had made his command. The jester scurried off to alert Zabby. Victor had seven more sacrifices to select. His jester, who had just left, ran back down the room. “My lord, I have news!” “What is it, jester?” “Ryan Zabby of New York has announced his retirement!” Silence fell over the room. “Who else has New York sacrificed” “You can’t take anyone else-“ “WHAT” Victor shouted. He slammed his fist against his throne, and the room seemed to shake. The jester winced. “How dare he, that vermin. Send a squad after Ryan Zabby!” “But, My lord-“ “ENOUGH! I give orders, I expect them to be done!” As the jester scurried off, Victor was fuming. “How dare a peasant such as Ryan Zabby defy me like this!” His guards stood motionless. The jester ran back into the room. “My lord! We have another sacrifice.” “And who is it?” “Mark Gebauer, from the Alberta city of Calgary” “Take him. Quickly, before he retires too.” The jester, again, scurried away. Victor sat in his throne, waiting for more sacrifices. The newest king of a VHL franchise gave him a tremendous feeling of power. The entire VHL world, in the palm of his hands. With the snap of his fingers, a VHL player would be sacrificed, and now a member of mother Russia. Three days later... Victor makes his way to the bottom of Mount Contender. He isn’t alone, or a part of HC Davos anymore. He has a Russian army, led by Mark Gebauer, who will fight for him. It is just the beginning of Moscow’s great reign amongst the top of the VHL.
  14. Review- Great analysis of Saskatoon. While my days on the Wild are long gone, I do enjoy them having success. Unfortunately, as you had said, they have so many rookies. My biggest issue with Saskatoon is that they have 10 players with 30 TPE. With the inclusion of two VHLM teams, I anticipate a playoff birth isn't expected for them. All in all nice job with the analysis of every player, I could never have done that
  15. Review- Very good write up. Vancouver is going to be really good this year, and last years Aces were godly, if I do say so myself. You seem very humble, and sometimes you have to have an edge to just roast fools to get a name for yourself. It also felt like I was listening to a real interview while reading this. Great job
  16. I am so mad. Those were my two guys I wanted. I'll take Veran Dragomir @Elhandon
  17. My bad, now my media spots are always over 500 words. I actually claimed this as an article, just checked my update history
  18. In the portal, I was doing some research for the VHFL. I noticed with almost every player in the VHL, their stats from S64 showed up twice. Example: 64 (NYA) 72 18 62 80 -7 216 122 205 189 3 8 0 64 (NYA) 72 18 62 80 -7 216 122 205 189 3 8 0 63 (NYA) 72 6 58 64 -25 98 126 257 196 0 4 0 This isn't a big deal, just a little bug maybe. There is also an issue where it only shows my S63 stats, not my S64 ones. This also applies to other rookies too, where the same situation happened. Overall not a big deal but just a little odd. I also had an idea for TPE earnin. Basically when the NHL playoffs start, the NHL has a bracket challenge. The VHL should set up a group and have members submit their bracket. At the end of the playoffs, whoever has the most points total can win uncapped TPE. For example: If you get all first round series correct: 2 TPE If you get all first round series correct + games played: 3 TPE (Not 5 in total, just 3 total) As each round is over, the rewards are higher and higher. We could also just do it so participating is +1, and if you finish top 5 or top 10 (depending on how many people do it) You can get uncapped TPE.
