As some of you know who I'm running a VHLM series called IIHIRN, and if not it's a series I'm doing where I interview the GM's about the season. 
 
For some of you that know and I have already interviewed, or any active GM's I would like to inform that I will be making some changes. First off the way I interview is going to be changed. I will get ahold of each GM and see if they are available to do it, and if not I will check with the AGM, if that falls through I will schedule a week where we're both active and able too. If you don't want to be apart of this let me know so I don't want my time please.
 
Second the way I interview. The way I did before was I would make the questions first, then have the GM's answer them. I plan on changing that drastically by having an open document, and the GM joining me it'll make the questions flow better, and not look as sloppy.
 
There is a possibility if I have time I will sneak in a few player interviews, and game reviews.
 
I plan on restarting the series up a week after the season starts, and everything and everyone gets settled in if you have any questions dm me on discord.

After some consideration and a lot of applicants (even people who didn't post here applied and went through the process). 
 
I am glad to add a very good friend of mine and seasoned vet of sim leagues @fever95 to the team. It's been a crazy ride, I couldn't have asked for a better AGM applicant pool, but this is gonna be our go-to for a little while as he learns the ropes of the VHLM.

Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who applied for this position. Every time, the strong interest to be hired into one of these roles is there and similarly, there's so many awesome candidates who are either ready now (or close to it) or ones that are a bit off but have that strong potential. It's never easy having to go through a bunch of amazing people and choose one for the role, but I'm sure you all understand that it's the business and way she goes. We had a Top 3 at the end but this was the route we decided to go. The other 2 are incredible members - I've reached out to both with my thoughts regarding the situations, and encouraged each to keep up the amazing work. 
 
Now, this new GM has strong potential, top activity on the site and is a real smart kid. I've worked with him for the World Junior championships and each season I did so, it was a good experience. When he stepped down, I was disappointed but understood. There hasn't been a WJC Commie better than him yet. I think with the right environment and people helping him out, which we're strongly fortunate to have an amazing group of VHLM managers, he strongly has the potential to be a top GM in the VHLM.

Hey, I really need to tell what happened this evening with the Yukon Rush roster, it was so fun!!! We went paintballing for a special team bonding excersice and we were divided into two teams, I was on the @Krice13 team and we decided to attack suddendly, we caught them while they were still planning how to attack us @MexicanCow123 tried to shoot at us but he still had the gun lock on. It was so fun, I think I really got to know my team mates better, now for example I know @LittleRiDog is a multi-sport athlete, and that he knows how to throw a football... but he doesn't know how to dodge a paintball bullet. I really think this was a well spended evening with my team mates and that helped us get along better and it is going to help us in the ice, let's see how this season goes for us

The DC Dragons recently called up their S68 61st pick who has been stashed away in San Diego for a couple of season. Ritchie has made a bit of a name of himself in his two seasons in the minor league, with 45 goals and 40 assists in season S68 and then 41 and 35 goals in season 69. This form clearly was enough to impress the Dragons GM who, after the post season, gave the go ahead to bring Ritchie over to the capital.
 
Our reporters found time to grab a quick interview with the DC's most recent call up to the major league as he arrived to the Dragons training arena.
 
Hi Raleigh, what was your initial reaction to the call from DC?
 
Well it was a big shock initially, I knew I'd been doing pretty well in the minors and showing some good growth but it was still a surprise to get that actual confirmation that I'd be playing in the VHL next season. The GM said some really nice things about my play in the playoffs and I really look forward to getting to know the guys around the team more now that I'll be here full time.
 
What will your role be in DC?
 
Well it looks like I'll be on the second lines this season which suits me well, I get time to adapt to the faster pace of the VHL without being chucked in at the deep end and I'll get to learn a lot behind some of the best wings in the game in Aaltonen and Frostbeard. Hopefully I'll get chance to pop some goals in and being paired with some great playmakers again will be nice as last season that was something that the Marlins were somewhat lacking in.

One of the worst kept secrets this pass weekend.... It is the @Commissioner team's great pleasure to announce that @GustavMattias is the new General Manager of the HC Davos Dynamo! Obviously this does mean he will be stepping down from his role as GM of the Mississauga Hounds and the @VHLM Commissioner team will be announcing a new GM for that franchise soon.

Also since @Quik is not coming back anytime soon I guess we can also make it official that @Jubo07 is not just an "interm" General Manager but a full General Manager.

1. Out of all the new waiver signings signed by the Yukon Rush, who is most likely to have the longest career and why?
Currently @Zyrok has really surprised me. He's been super active in the locker room and i think he could go all the way.
 
2. Season 70 starts in a few days, where do you predict the Rush to end up in the standings by the end of the season?
Well i'm hoping we finish last. I know that we are not going to be competitive this season so i'm hoping we can get a high pick. 
 
3. How much TPE do you plan on earning each week? 
i go for 12 every week. It's not too hard to get the capped so that's what i go for.
 
4. On a scale of 1-10, How well do you know about the sport of hockey and do you have any interest in learning more about it?
I would say im a 10. I watch every single Vancouver Canuck game. So i would say i know quite a bit about hockey.
 
5.  Switching gears a little bit, the Super Bowl is only a few weeks away. Of the remaining teams (49ers, Titans, Packers and Chiefs), who do you predict wins the Super Bowl? 
I don't watch football and really don't like football so i couldn't care less. NEXT QUESTION PLEASE.
 
6. Lastly, are there any improvements that could be made to the Yukon Discord LR and if so what are they
