I personally hope we lose this trade. I want nothing more than for @Riley_Coutureto come back and be fully active again. However I have active players who are chomping at the bit for ice time and with Calgary going into a developmental season moving Couture was the right thing to do for the current active players on our roster! DC just got a lot more dangerous! Good luck Riley!

Okay I am voting two because it’s beautiful. My only critique is that you can see the logo of the hurricanes on jersey. Would have been great had the creator tried to put the Mexico logo behind there instead.

Loved all of these. My runner up was 1.

My TPE budget for this tournament is actually a negative number, so no.

You could, however, win the inaugural, coveted, legendary, smartastic, 🧠BIG BRAIN AWARD🧠 which comes with absolutely no benefits other than supreme bragging rights and knowledge that you can accurately see the future. Maybe a gfx pro will make a certificate you can print out and stick on your fridge too, who knows? (oh wait the winner knows because they can sEe ThE fUtUrE!!!)

    3. I’m just waiting to see who my new boss is, and then, if I don’t particularly care for them, a return to a team owned by @Ricer13 may happen sooner than I thought.

Tried getting involved with jobs but sick of applying and with only 2 jobs in 2 years, I'm realizing how easy it is to smooth sail as a fantasy manager.. So I'm taking back my interesting for the recruitment job. Time to sit back and relax 😛

    Hello everyone,

With me officially becoming the Head Of The Recruitment team, as Beav has stepped down. I will be looking for someone to take my old position. I'm looking for someone to help me in the day to day running's of the recruitment team. A successful applicant would have to be extremely active and have great knowledge of social media etc. Having Video/Graphic skills would be a huge bonus for me. You would need to chat with me almost daily about how to bring more members into the league. It has a pay of 6 TPE weekly but I must warn you, almost everyone that's ever joined the recruitment team has fallen to burn out. So you must keep this in mind when applying for this position.

You can apply in this thread or by dming me here on the VHL or on Discord.

Question you must answer to have a serious application:

Given all the variety of methods the Recruitment team currently uses to bring in members. What would you add to that list and or change?

    Good luck to all applicants.

With @Beaviss stepping down from league administration roles, this also included the Board of Governors.

In his place, the new head of recruitment @MexicanCow123, as well as @bigAL, have been added to the Old Boys Club BOG.

I'd like to start by thanking everyone who applied for the AGM position, and took the time out of their days to reply to my interview questions. I had a lot of talented and passionate individuals apply for this position, which I greatly appreciate. I know it gets said a lot, but this truly was a difficult decision to make. With so many qualified individuals, I had to think for quite a long time, hence why this posting is going up a few days after I finished interviews.

For those not selected, continue to apply for more positions and get your name out there! If you have any questions about how to get for future opportunities, I'm always welcome to chat with you and provide advice and feedback.

That being said, I'm proud to announce @KC15 as my new AGM! KC and I had a fantastic interview that truly showcased his passion for management, and also checked the prerequisite boxes of not having previous experience in the VHL with management positions or jobs of any sort. This is a learning opportunity, and he was one of the most willing to learn as an AGM and continue to grow as a user in the VHL.

With so many applicants, and another individual extremely passionate about the position, I felt it appropriate to make a second hire, this one to my advisory committee. Welcome onboard, @IamMOOSE! Moose has had a rocky history in the VHL, but is committed and passionate to reuniting with me at the management level. Despite not having a player on Moscow, he's ready to bring his scouting skills and passion for team management to the motherland, working closely with me to win more championships with Moscow.

Congrats to both of you, and I'm looking forward to working with you both closely in the coming seasons!

    March 6th,

Hello there, I don’t quite know what I am doing yet but I’ve decided to start writing about my career as a way to be able to look back and remember it. It’s currently March 6. My first season in the league just ended with Halifax 21st. It was a slow season for me. I played 60 games and 3 goals and 18 assists totaling 21 points. Which I guess isn’t that bad but was expecting maybe a slightly better performance. Halifax didn’t make the playoffs this year so I was unable to obtain that experience but hopefully next season. Talking about next season the draft is quickly approaching and I couldn’t be more excited.

As the draft has been approaching multiple teams have reached out asking questions and wanting to get to know me which I mean I expected but it’s crazy seeing it all unfold in front of your eyes. You hear stories from past players but it’s truly something to experience it yourself. You can feel the excitement building up inside you along with some nerves. I’ve found myself imagining what my career has in store for me once I get drafted. Will I win any championships? What new people will I meet? How many seasons will I spend in the minors? When will I score my first big league goal? These questions race through my mind but there’s only one way to get these answers to wait and see what happens.

I’ve been asked a lot what are your plans as a player. I guess my answer to that is quite simple… I want to be a well-rounded but offensively-minded defenseman. I have hopes that everyone has to one day win a championship wherever I end up. It pretty a basic answer but in truth that’s all I want to be able to do.

    March 13th

Yesterday was VHL draft day! It was so exciting to be a part of it. I didn’t know what team I would end up on. I had talked to a few different ones but didn’t quite know where I would end up. I ended up going 14th overall in the first round to the Calgary wranglers!! I was extremely surprised to have gone in the first round. To be honest, I was expecting to go early to mid-second round so this came as a real shock but I’ll take it. I’m excited to get started in Calgary once my player grows and develops more. I can’t wait to meet all my future teammates and get to know them. I feel as though being drafted now will give me more motivation to work hard on my player.

I’m sure the next few days will be full of celebration with friends and family. The journey is only beginning and I can’t wait to see where my career takes me. The vhl draft was the big first step in a long journey in my career. Now the real work begins to improve as a player so that I can crack the lineup in a few seasons time.

Ricer13 got a reaction from Gustav in Reylynn Reinhart - Rookie Experience
Reylynn Reinhart was selected by the HC Davos Dynamo 2nd overall in the Season 77 VHL Draft. Reylynn was honoured to be taken ahead of the likes of Duncan Idaho and her twin brother Asher Reinhart. Davos had a need for a high flying, goal scoring defensemen and they took the highest ranked defensemen in this seasons draft.

Rey signed with the Houston Bulls at the beginning of season 76 as she looked to join the already stacked squad in Houston for a chance at a title in her only season playing in the minors. She worked her ass off all season to get ready for the draft. She saw a jump in her offensive game as she scored 27 goals which is extremely impressive for a defensemen. Her defensive play rose to another level as well as she finished the season with a +47 +/- rating. She felt short in the finals with Houston losing to Mexico City but took it as a learning experience that she would carry with her into the VHL. She is thankful for the opportunity that GM RJ gave her in Houston and for the opportunity to play one last time with her brother. Now they will be facing off against each other in the VHL.

After being drafted Davos was quick to sign Reinhart to a 3 season entry level deal. They flew her out to Davos right away to begin her rookie season and to get acquainted with her new team and the beautiful city of Davos. Located in the heart of Switzerland, Davos is filled with many beautiful attractions for new comers to see. Reylynn spent a few days exploring and getting to know the city of Davos. She built instant chemistry with the likes of Taro Tsujimoto, Vlad Imir and Kunibuni Unguri as they welcomed her in with open arms and showed her around the state of the art facilities. She got a chance to meet all of the coaches and trainers to go over plans for the off-season and the season ahead.

Now that Reylynn has gotten to know Davos and her teammates she is ready to get back to work. She is on a mission to take Davos from being the laughing stock of the VHL to a serious threat for repeat championships. Her eye is on the prize and is going to do everything she can to bring a championship to Davos. Rookie of the year warning, Reylynn Reinhart is coming into the VHL with a vengeance.
