1. Offseason didn't quite go our way this year, but our roster is complete and kept our main pieces from last year, how do you think we fair this season?

4. Personally I've been relaxed with my exercise lately, have you been able to get to the gym much during off-season?

G'day VHL, after a long break we are back with another episode of The Bootcast! Today we have @Spartan join in with me and have a good long chat. As explained in the podcast, I am stepping down from VSN to take advantage of the big multi week claims as I feel I'm burning out. Also this was recorded well over a week ago now and just been slack in getting it edited.

Regardless I had a great catch up with Spartan where we discuss Spartan's joining of the VHL, the Moscow GM position, our little player rivalry and of course another edition of VHL Power Moves. It's a long one so strap in and enjoy.

1.  At the end of it all, we had a fantastic season and made history in the playoffs (first ever traverse sweep) what went right this year? (Glass half full)
2. However; we just came up short! What went wrong in the finals for Warsaw? (Glass half empty)

3. Already some moves have been made this off season due to cap problems, do you still like our chances next year?

4. One of those moves brought in Venus Thightrap’s rights, great friends of Dear and Glass, both who signed once seeing her brought in. Are you excited at the chance of adding the caliber of player Venus is?

5. What’s doing this off season? Any plans on time off?

6. Are you playing in the World Cup? If not which team are you cheering for 

7. If Warsaw was doing a NHL style “reverse retro” jersey and you got to change the colours of our logo, what would they be?

1. Warsaw just got its first ever playoff series win in spectacular fashion, pulling off the first reverse sweep in VHL history. How does it feel to be a part of this historical feat?

2. We have gotten our playoff winning streak up to 6 games as we sit up 2-0 against Moscow as of current writing. How do we keep this momentum rolling through the rest of the postseason?

1. Yeah was an unreal feeling when it happened, to be able to pull off those big wins was huge for this team

3. I mean knowing now that Chicago has won it all, easy to predict. But would have chose them anyways.

4. Think that Warsaw did, after losing in the finals. To come back in two series from down 3-0 and down 3-1 was huge, but shows that you can't always play from down and that was their downfall again in the finals.

5. Keep it simple with plain white bread

7. Roller blades, do people even still roller-skate 

8. Z (but only if you pronounce it the English way), that thing is vicious

I am interested. My life is a fantasy so this job was made for me. 
 

Edit - in honesty I have ideas to improve fantasy zone, especially VHFL. Would be happy to chat with whoever about these ideas before hiring.

1. Regular season finished! Are you happy with your performance this year?

2. We were unable to get that 1st position locked up by just 2 points, how do we get over that going into the first round?

3. Playoffs! What are you doing extra to make sure we succeed this year?

4. Give yourself a pat on the back, we were the highest scoring team since season 64. What had us firing on all gears?

5. Are you gonna party like Brady and Gronk when we win the cup this year?

6. Some people are paid to say I’m going to Disneyland, who do you want to sponsor you?

7. Speaking of Disneyland, do you like amusement parks and which is your favourite?

1. Moscow easy. Have to try and pass them but if not will have to play in playoffs to have any success

2. I guess Riga/London fighting it out for that last spot. Crazy times and changes this season

6. Our offence group, leading the league in goals so think if we can lock it down on defence and goaltending we have a good chance

9. Probably Hylands (already been announced)

10. None of them because they're all shit locations
