    1.      5-0 in our last 5, Do you think we can keep this pace up?
Oh yeah, I think we are the best team in the VHLE so the sky is the limit for us.
    2.      What is your players favourite pregame music to listen to?
Probably something from AC/DC or Rammstein, something to pump myself up.
    3.      What is your favourite NHL team and why do you like them?
I don't have favorite one, but I like Panthers, because they are earning me some money right now.
    4.      What does it mean to be a Stockholm Viking to you?
It means a lot, because this is the first season for the team and every one of us is going to go down in history in the league and team.
    5.      If we had a mascot, what would his name be and how would you design him?
His name would be Bjorn and I would probably make him look like Viking and Looney Tunes mix.
    6.      The theme week this past week was life after the VHL, I want to change it up and ask about life before the VHL. When you were little what did you want to be when you were older?
    Probably anything but hockey player.

osens got a reaction from Nykonax in Omi Aberg and Oh Sens working together.
Omi Aberg has been playing great in the newly created league - VHLE. Together with Stockholm Vikings, they are leading the whole league and Aberg tops the points column in the stat sheet.  This summer Aberg worked hard together with Oh Sens, former Toronto Legion player, and this work has been showing a lot. Now Stockholm Vikings have announced that until the end of the season Sens will be joining the Vikings coaching staff and he will be working with Aberg personally but also helping out other players. Aberg has been really happy about this because he came into this season ready as he has never been and he is happy that his teammates will also use Sens tips and skills to make the team better.

Will this be the move for Vikings to put them in front of other teams? Only time will tell.

osens got a reaction from Nykonax in Omi ABERG - points leader in VHLE
Omi Aberg was drafted pretty late, but he has shown teams why that was the wrong thing to do - he has 85 points in 51 games and is leading Stockholm and the whole VHLE in points. Aberg is tearing up the league together with Zach Kisslinger and they are carrying Viking's offensive load. Aberg is lifting his stocks up before his first VHL season, but even now Vancouver has been looking at the young/old player from Islands very carefully and is excited to see him play in the big league.

Omi Aberg has been showing great consistency and it will be great to see him transfer his skills to VHL and Vancouver Wolves. Wolves have been stacked with young players, and Aberg won't have an easy job to prove his worth in the top lines with the team, but if he continues to play like this, the sky will be the limit.

    1.      We have been a little hot stretch recently, what do you think the main reason is that we have been able to start winning more games?
Probably I started to wear my lucky socks to the games more often.
    2.      Does your player have any pregame rituals? If so, what are they?
Listen to some great music and give autographs to fans.
    3.      Is your VHL character inspired by any NHL players’ playstyle? If so, who?
Not really, but if I would have to choose I would say something similar to Toews.
    4.      What VHLE team do you think have the best and worst logo?
I can't really decide now, I need a few seasons to some of them to grow on me.
    5.      Do you feel like there is a teammate you have developed some line chemistry with this season?
Kisslinger, because we are tearing the VHLE up together!
    6.      If you did Halloween when you were younger, what was your favourite costume? If you didn’t do Halloween, what is your favourite candy?
I didn't really have a favourite costume, it is celebrated where I live but not that crazy, probably some kind of skeleton.

    1.    We nominated our first ever Captains this past week, how do you feel about the captains, and do you think they are going to lead us to success?
I think we have great captains that will be our corner stones of our awesome year!
    2.    How do you feel about your individual success this season up to this date?
Pretty great, I am over point per game so that won't hurt team success too!
    3.    We had 2 stars of the week this past week, (Florida Man and Kisslinger II) does this encourage you to update more and to try to be a star of the week?
That's not something I am going for, so not really!
    4.    How do you feel about the VHLE so far, is it better or worse than you expected?
I think it's too early to make conclusions about VHLE, but it's fun!
    5.    If you were to take the team out anywhere to eat, where would it be and why?
I would take them to my mother's house because she knows how to cook some good food!
    6.    Is there any suggestions for Thad or myself to make the experience in Stockholm better?
    All good from you guys!

    1. It'll be really hard to right the ship now as the contenders have made themselves known with Vancouver (how tf), Chicago, and Calgary with New York also close behind. I think we'd need to add one more solid piece offensively or maybe a goalie upgrade is the only things we can do to keep it up at this point.
    2. Apparently tank extremely hard and then draft several times in the top 3 lmao
    3. Probably Dion Phaneuf as I'm secretly a pylon, just give me awhile to show it.
    4. It was good, celebrated thanksgiving for the first time in 4 years so it was lovely to get that feeling again of celebrating it.

osens got a reaction from JB123 in Stockholm Vikings more like best team in VHLE
Omi Aberg... That 50 year old still hasn't made the big league, you would think that his prime period would be ending or it has ended years ago but NO! He decided that it would be an awesome idea to go play with more youngsters in VHLE, and well - right now it is looking like a great move. Aberg is moving on ice like 18 years old and earning points like crazy. He has not been the most vocal player on the team but on ice, he is playing really well. In only 38 games with Stockholm, he has racked up 59 points, with 20 goals and 39 assists.

Aberg and Kisslinger - Viking duo.
Aberg's ride with Stockholm has been as smooth as it could possibly be.  Aberg has been playing awesomely and no point to argue that he is one of the team's leaders. But good teams have multiple leaders because when someone is having an off-day then there has to be someone who can step up and take the load and that's where Aberg excelled at the start of the season. Coaches were not trusting Aberg with playing time and that is pretty understandable - he was not drafted that early as other players and nobody really expected that he would have such a start in the newly created league. But with time coaches saw what Aberg can add to the team and now when everything has been established, Aberg and Kisslinger are leading the team in the points. In the league, Aberg with 59 points is 3rd, just 4 points behind 1st place and Kisslinger with 57 points is 5th. Both players are leading the offensive side of the team and they are doing a great job. One thing to point out, both of these players are not sniper or playmaker type players, but really two-way forwards that excel on both of these aspects. That is what usually happens, but to make this line work Aberg had to step up a lot and start shooting more. And that's what he did! Aberg ranks in 3rd most shots in the league with 256 shots. He is shooting a lot, he should score more though, but that is something he is working at, but big help on offense is, that he can dish a lot of passes to other players like Kisslinger and it takes the load of Omi shooting to give to other players.

Stockholm right now is leading the league with 45 points together with Rome, but comparing to other leagues, the race to playoffs here is much tighter and I would expect a lot of upsets incoming because teams in levels are so similar. These individual plays from Aberg and Kisslinger will be really important if Vikings will want to compete for winning the championship in the first year, but in the way they are playing right now - 3 wins in a row - it is definitely possible and doable.

Go Vikings and hopefully Stockholm will be victorious in the 1st VHLE season.

    1. How do you feel about our current place in the standings?
It's not the greatest place, we can do better though!
    2. Where is your player the strongest?
    Probably scoring some goals.
    3. Where is your player the weakest?
Right now I would like to be better in faceoffs but I wouldn't say I am weakest in one exact spot.
    4. What color scares your player the most?
    White.
    5. If your player got into a bar fight, who would they take out first?
Nobody, because my player would probably sneak out of this bar fight, because he is old!
    6. Why did the chicken ACTUALLY cross the road?
I don't know, you tell me!

Great article and predictions are never too early! I loved reading them and the content side of this article was really well! I would recommend leaving the background same for all of the text. On some paragraphs the background was black and on some white, but I don't think that you wanted to do it un purpose. You could add some pictures too! Great job eitherway!

D.C Dragons have started this season very well - 2nd place in the North American Conference, 8 points away from the 1st. Vancouver has eaten something unusual and no team can stop them!

But D.C has been slowly playing their best game and has earned 14 wins. This off-season Dragons added Dear, which will strengthen our 1st line together with Dood and Strong Jr. They are already scoring a lot of points and showing their effect. Dragons still kept their strong forwards in defense or offensive defensemen Welch and Gumballs and in goal Malone is catching everything that gets thrown at him. Dragons are ready to fight for playoffs and they have started the fight really well with the 2nd place, but this war is long and there are a lot of teams close behind wanting to challenge D.C.

Awesome article, everything is divided on easy to read headlines and paragraphs. It is very easy to read, maybe because you divided it so well. I am a weird person but it bugged me out that 2 headlines were yellow and one red, for me those should have been either all yellow or all different colour, but it's not anything against you, it's more my issue . But awesome article and hope to see more of you!

    1. How does it feel to be playing for Stockholm for this inaugural VHLE season?
It feels special, because we can be a part of history, just like I was a part of Marauders first season with Oh Sens.
    2. What are you looking forward to this season?
I look forward to winning the cup with this team!
    3. How do you think your player will adjust to their move to Stockholm?
It's going to be difficult, because it's going to be very cold in the winters.
    4. What are your expectations for this season?
I expect that we are going to be winning the VHLE championship, because we are too good!
    5. Is there anything you want me to know?
    I am weird.
    6. If you could have picked your own team, where would you have wanted to go in the VHLE?
I would have wanted to go to Stockholm Vikings.

A bit of a housekeeping note: since changing GM’s at the end of the off-season is far messier than at the beginning (but necessary given the circumstances) @Nykonax  has agreed to act as interim GM for this season. Near the end of the season the position will be opened up to either him or the general population for a permanent position but for now he should be regarded as the GM of the team with all the permissions that entails.

Great mock draft, I see that you have put in a lot of work. I enjoyed that you used different colours for every team - it helps for reading. Although some people could get scared away from all of those colours, but I quite enjoy them. I would recommend putting some picture in between the text to liven the text up and not make it seem like a big block of text. Great mock draft and good luck in the draft <3!

    1. Flew by, things re-opened here in July and all of a sudden it turned to September in an instant. Helps when you're not stuck inside 24/7 mandatory with curfews and restrictions.
    2. Obviously cooler to be the underdogs, and definitely WHEN WE CAME BACK TO WIN THE SERIES...despite losing to Seattle the next round sadge.
    3. Most dangerous lead is a lead where you feel too comfortable, even if i that's 1-0, 4-1, or even 5-0. Whenever you even slightly relax, that's when the enemy bites back.
    4. I'm not sure if we have the firepower to continue such goalscoring streaks, definitely with tougher opponents in the way, but that is life when we don't have a lot of high TPE scoring players.

osens got a reaction from Kisslinger in My first season as AGM
I started the year with a lot of unknowns, I really didn't know what to expect. But coming out of this season I can tell one thing for sure - I have come out with a lot of things that I have learned and things that are left to learn.

I got to know an awesome community in D.C. They know how to joke and laugh but also how to win in regulation, not in overtime though. I guess that is something that's left for next season - how to win after regulation. I can say for sure, that D.C is my team and I love talking to every single one of them in the locker room. And holy smokes we have Juice, BigAl, and Eagles in the same team. That is the craziest thing. One thing that has made my life easier - I don't really need hours to think all of the questions for the press conference, I guess that is a thing that comes with experience, but it is something that I look forward to every week.

Eno taught me a valuable lesson that will hopefully help me out in the future - I sent in my first lines and I created my first lines. I think we had a positive record on the first day of my tactics, don't really remember the rest of the games, but I think they were pretty good. At least my line changes didn't really change our main strength - sniper defensemen. In this season they were insane. Juice just kept on scoring and no team didn't really have an answer for him. I think it's one of the highlights of the season - how many goals will Welch score this time.

One thing is for sure - I am really proud of D.C Dragons. A lot of people were counting us out at the start of the season, but I feel like we proved a lot of them wrong, we were always in a fight with every team, we made the playoffs, but in the end, lost in a good fight against a great team that is Seattle.  There is a lot of unknown stuff we will have to go through in the next season. Our offense is a huge question mark because we only have 2 forwards resigned for the next season, but I am sure we will sort this stuff out, Eno is the best general manager that I have assisted and I hope he will keep me occupied with work at least for one more season. I really enjoyed this previous season, I really tried to check on the team at least once a day and just go and talk some in the locker room. Sometimes it was harder than it would seem, but I think I can learn a lot from being AGM as a teammate or even as a person.

Thank you all for the season and it is time to take a breather in the off-season and then hopefully something bigger next season.
