I don't even know what to say right now. Hearing this news is honestly very shocking to me. Especially since Emi was the very first AGM I've hired. Emi had always been a great community member. Someone who I respected a lot and shared a decent amount of common interests in. During her time in Vegas, she did her best trying to give players a weekly presser and maintain some activity despite her troubles with her health. So my deepest condolences go to Dren and Emi's family. I know I didn't know her personally. I still want to pay my respects to an amazing person. Rest in peace Emi

We're looking to give you top 4 minutes this season with some Penalty Kill and Powerplay time. Of course going for a cup run this season isn't the only benefit for you. The Aces haven't been doing so well as of late. 16 games in and we've only won 4 games. What do we need to do in order to improve? 2. So far the top scorers for the team have been the depth players along with our defensemen. Is there a need for the big guns to step up? 3. So far LVA is cycling their goalies in a 1A and 1B sort of scenario where both goalies will share the crease. Is this a good strat to run? 4. If you were able to, would you skip the VHLE entirely and go straight to the VHL? 5. What's a childhood experience that you remember? 6. What's your favourite board game/card game?

Washington D.C. With the 79th VHL season having already begun, the DC Dragons had made some notable acquisitions prior to the start of the season. One of those acquisitions was none other than defenseman Jiggly Gumballs. Drafted 28th overall back in S73, the veteran Gumballs had spent the last 5 seasons playing for the Los Angeles Stars, one of the 4 expansion teams that had their first ever drafts that very season. Gumballs who had cemented himself as a reliable defensive defenseman during his time at LA hit the free agent market this past offseason. Opting to sign a 1 year 3.5 million AAV contract with the DC Dragons. Gumballs was interviewed just after the signings and he made a few statements regarding his decision to hit the market and sign with DC: "My decision to sign elsewhere was nothing to do against LA. I honestly want to thank them for everything they've done for me these past 5 or so seasons. LA is like a home to me so it's honestly a shame to leave such a great city. However as the more I grow older, the more I realize that my chances of winning a cup slip with each and every season. And continuing to play in LA right after they won the draft lottery again convinced me that if I wanted to win, I'd have to look elsewhere." Gumballs last season had a decline in production last season with only 41 points in 72 games, with his defensive stats also taking a slight hit. In contrast to that, Gumballs so far has had a great start to the season. 7 points, 1 being a goal ironically scored against LA and was a game winner, in only 5 games. The change in scenery proved to so far be a renaissance for the veteran defenseman, and according to Gumballs, his new teammates are the keys to his recent success. "Part of the reason why I signed in DC is because I honestly loved the idea of playing with some of the guys here. Being paired up with Kristof Welch and passing the puck to guys like Groovy Dood? It seemed like a great deal to me. I have a lot of respect for those guys even if they were rivals. Dood went first overall in our draft class and has been a big part of this team since. Welch on the other hand, I got to know him well since he was in another divisional rival in Toronto previously. So all of these guys I was pretty familiar with. That also contributed to my signing here. Getting to know younger guys like Jannik Nylen was also a nice treat. We have a pretty veteran group here and I think that'll help us make a good run. Being able to be a big factor to that run is something I'm looking forward to." As of now, DC is tied for 1st in the North American Conference and 5th in league overall standings with 7 points, and with the NA Conference looking like a tight race to the playoffs, Gumballs and the rest of the DC Dragons are surely looking to maintain momentum and drive their way forward into the postseason. Vegas is looking to bounce back after a rather dismal season, how excited are you in helping bring us back to glory? Vegas has a motto of "TRADE THE PICKS, TRUST THE PROCESS." A motto which involves trading most of our future draft picks for a win now scenario. Is this a good motto? Is this a good mentality? (Keep in mind that we've already lost our 1st and 2nd round pick for next season ) What do you think our team's strengths and weaknesses are? What would you do in order to improve on our weaknesses? This is the last season before the VHLE is set to debut! Are you excited for the VHLE? How would it effect both the VHL and the VHLM? The Las Vegas Aces have not won a cup since S64. Is it time we finally break that cup drought? Which do you prefer? Tea, hot chocolate, or coffee?

1. I think a draft and develop approach is what I would take. I think as a GM, it's more fulfilling to win a cup with a team you've built from the ground up rather than forming a team through signing and trading. 2. I personally think Papa Emiritus might be a potential HoF player. He wasn't drafted 1st overall for nothing. 3. "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" - The Fast and the Furious 4. LA. They have Spartan now. 5. Uno. It's fun ruining your relationships with a +4. 6. I think it's consistent activity, and a willingness to contribute to the team in any way possible. That's what a captain should be.
