Regular Season MVP Award "Mitch Higgins Trophy"
 
 
The most valuable player is not necessarily the league’s leading scorer. It is not necessarily the player who scores the most goals, or the goalie with the most wins. It is the player who, if they were to be traded or injured, would leave the biggest hole on his team. The MVP is the player everyone relies on for the important goal, and to pick everyone else up if they’re down by a goal. 
 
Once again, we have two runner ups. The first has already been mentioned, the goaltender for the San Diego Marlins. On a Marlins team that was not quite at the same level as the insanely deep Yukon Rush and Halifax 21st, this player dragged his team back into games and gave the lethal San Diego offense the confidence to take risks knowing that they had him to save their butts. Our second runner up has also already been mentioned. One of the top weapons on the powerhouse 21st, this player seemed unstoppable with the puck on his tape, with almost a goal per game this season. His future in the VHL is uncertain, but he didn’t let that faze him during the season, instead using it as motivation. Let’s have a round of applause for:

Our S78 Mitch Higgins Trophy winner has astonishingly not yet won an award tonight despite being the surefire 1st overall selection in the upcoming VHL draft and posting 133 points, good for 3rd in the league behind the two Halifax pillars. He scored 64 goals and 69 (niiiiiiiiiiceeeee) assists, good enough to crack leaderboards in both categories. He had less help than his opponents on Halifax, which meant he had to be the leading offensive driver for the Rush, collecting an out-of-this-world 534 shots on goal, leading the league by a wide margin. He also led the ultra-important game winning goals category with 15, and power play goals with 22. With those stats, how could you not be the first overall pick? I have a feeling you’ll be hearing his name more and more the next couple days, give it up for:

Top Two-Way Forward Award "Matt Bentz Trophy"
 
 
When someone thinks of the responsibilities of a forward, what usually comes to mind is scoring goals and running the team’s offense. But when a forward is responsible in all three zones, he becomes ever more valuable. 200 foot players are a coach’s dream and usually loved by teammates. They are the guys who are present on all special teams and are used in high pressure scenarios. And, all biases aside, who would you rather in the Stanley Cup final, Patrice Bergeron or Auston Matthews?
 
Our runner up is a second gen who isn’t exactly a spotlight magnet. Nevertheless, his contributions to the Minnesota Storm this season cannot be overlooked. No, he wasn’t a super scorer. But he didn’t need to be. Then again, 93 points isn’t too shabby. But his real value came in his two way game, which was expressed by his presence on leaderboards for hits, powerplay goals, shorthanded goals, and game winning goals. Truly the special teams king, he was a player who the Storm relied upon in all scenarios, and there’s no doubt he’ll be one of the more trusted rookies next season when he debuts with the Los Angeles Stars. Give it up for:

Our S78 Matt Bentz Trophy recipient was even more cast into the shadows this season. On the Halifax 21st, where prolific scorers Kikko Moskinen and Baldur Poulsen were the focus of public attention, this player was quietly one of the most valuable players in the VHLM. He still contributed 110 points, which is nothing to sneeze at, but he also led the VHLM in hits with an incredible 328, had a mind-blowing +50 plus/minus, and was just an absolute force to be reckoned with on the ice. Amazingly, he was drafted in the 4th round in S77 by the Malmo Nighthawks, and next season he will join the budding European power. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you:

Minion’s hype
The VHLE
With the VHLE around the corner starting in just one season now I wanted to hype it up a bit. With my player (Nathaniel Minion) hopefully playing in the VHLE I thought I should give my thoughts on it. I love the idea I think it works well with the league a chance to not only play with more players, but to win more awards. For all of you on my team with the hounds you most likely know that I really want to cup in my final season with the VHLM a.k.a next season with an extra league with only six teams its going to be easier to get the cup and of course I want my shot.
 
My Off season hype
This one has three areas of hype WJC/PROam, draft, and awards
WJC/PROam
As a player who love seeing the Sims and being a part of the league I’m more than happy to both play in the off season matches and be a GM for some, with my player playing for both team Canada in the WJC and the Sylvan Lake Sevens in pro am I have more then my fair share of game to watch Sims I look forward to playing with my teammates in both leagues and hope to take home gold.
Draft
So who doesn’t like a good draft, players getting moved to places they may not want to live but that's okay who cares about players happiness. Any ways back on topic, I love drafts and love watching them and chatting with people about plus the stream last off-season for the VHL draft was awesome. However, I also hype up with what Z did with the team. The hounds have tons of picks in the upcoming draft (even the 1st overall pick). I mean who wouldn't be hyped when they now have a solid chance at the cup.
BTW Release the hounds.
Awards 
I think you all know by now I’m a sucker for some good awards, I mean I think my player had a solid season with 99 points and leading the league in hit taken with 375. If there was an award for most beat up player I would get it but I don’t think there is but that's okay. I look forward to seeing the award show and I would like to give them my congrats now.
Fixing my mistake 
So first of congratulations Yukon on winning the cup, a couple weeks back I said in minion presents two that Yukon wouldn’t make it to the finals yet alone win the cup, yet they proved me wrong and won the cup, however I don’t think that was my mistake I think believing in Halifax was that team is banned from winning the cup I think that team was stacked, and they lost to the flipping bulls. Who really shouldn’t have been in round two so with that in mind congrats Yukon, sorry Halifax.
 
That was minion presents number three and I look forward to seeing you all again soon. (and by all I mean the three that read this) Also good job juice on building a fantastic team.

I am gaining Gm experience with my GM job in pro am, we already did the draft so I have that going for me.
I'm a very hard worker and activate daily. I work will with other players and I believe that I'm liked by most in the VHL, I like scouting and like looking at players skills. plus I am a very fast learner 
most likely the hardest part is keeping every body happy, every team needs to have a good and activate locker room. morals is a huge part of a team and all of the player need to be happy. I mean building a team might also be hard.

Hi friends!
 
After Beaviss stepped down from his role as Commissioner, @Beketov and I made the decision to maintain our 2-person team, with the understanding that we would eventually add a third member, when the time was right. As some of you may have noticed, the past two weeks have seen a wane in activity from myself, as I've had an opportunity to grow in my career, which resulted in less time in the interim for the league.
 
With that in mind, Bek and I believe now is the right time to add a third member to the team. So, without further adieu, please welcome your newest Commissioner, @bigAL ! We feel he has shown more than capable of being a steady hand at the wheel, and what he may lack in longevity he more than makes up for in integrity, composure, and exuberance. Al is a fantastic representative for what this league is and can be, and we cannot put into words how happy we are to bring him aboard!

Hmm what if we found a Virtual communication platform where we could message in real time that also included an area where we could see and hear each other? And we could make an official league platform but then smaller teams could also make their own platforms where only their team could meet up. Hmm. Nah too complicated. Omegle it is.
