He may not have a ton of awards, but he was one of the hardest working and consistently productive players of his era. Taylor finished his career on fire, logging at least 100 points in each of his last four seasons while finishing top three in face-offs in those four seasons (and leading the league twice) as well. Producing at least 80 points in every season aside from his rookie year, it's fair to say that Kameron Taylor lived up to the hype as a dynamic, generational center whether it was with Cologne or Riga.

The Wolfpack dominated the North American Conference en route to 109 points, more than double the second place team's total. Kameron's rookie season in the VHL was also the Cologne Express franchise's first season. Cologne was given the second overall pick, but was forced to use it to bring in Taylor, but the team was still able to amass a good amount of talent to finish a solid 34-31-7, avoiding last place in the European Conference. Taylor didn't have a dominant rookie year, but a lot of his game is built on helping other players score, and it's tough to get it going with a roster comprised of players that haven't played together before. Still, Taylor undoubtedly showed great potential in his first pro season.

Cologne took a step back in Season 32, finishing last in the European Conference with 55 points. No one can blame Taylor for this, as his play in his second pro season was phenomenal. Improving by 25 goals and 40 points from the previous year, Taylor became the guy that Cologne leaned on, being one of two players on the team to score at least 30 times. The team needed an infusion of talent, but Taylor was proving to be a true centerpiece to build around.

Season 33 was rough for Cologne. The team finished 31-35-6, leaving them 15 points out of a playoff spot as the team tried to infuse some young talent with the additions of Sergey Brovalenko and Evgeni Chekov. Kameron Taylor took a step back in the season, leading an inconsistent offense while failing to produce a second consecutive 40 goal season. Season 34 was a landmark season for Cologne, who made it to the playoffs for the first time in team history. Taylor had a bounce back season, logging 90 points while tying his career high of 55 assists. Come playoff time, Cologne was overwhelmed into a sweep against Riga, despite the teams finishing only six points apart in the standings. Kameron Taylor looked better in Season 34, but many figured he had to start showing more dominance on the ice to push his team over the edge.

Season 35 marked the first season in which Cologne actually looked like a team that could win a championship. That's mostly thanks to Taylor, who dominated in Season 35, posting 57 goals (22 more than the previous season despite seven less shots) and once again tying his career high with 55 assists. Cologne was able to easily handle Davos in the first round of the postseason before succumbing to the Helsinki Titans in the European Conference Finals. Taylor was named the league's Top Leader that season, a well-deserved award after leading his team to be the only team in the Conference Championship round with only one 100-point scorer.

    Season 36 Statistics:

    Regular Season: S36 (COL) - 72GP / 60G / 63A / 123P / +44 / 115PIM / 162H / 525SH / 8GWG / 66.29%FO Playoffs: S36 (COL) - 4GP / 1G / 2A / 3P / -2 / 4PIM / 23H / 29SH / 0GWG / 54.98%FO
Season 36 saw Cologne fall back in the European Conference. Barely making it to the playoffs as the third seed, the team was bounced quickly from the postseason, failing to win a single game for the second time in Taylor's three career postseason years. In the regular season, however, Taylor was once again one of the very best in the game. After improving to third in face-off percentage in Season 35, Taylor jumped to the top of the list in Season 36 whole posting career highs in goals, assists and points. He was once again voted Top Leader, although he shared the award with Thomas Landry, Ethan Osborne and Connor Low.

After representing the face of Cologne for so long, Kameron Taylor was dealt to Riga at the trade deadline of Season 37. Taylor's production dipped a tad in the season, although in a weaker year his 54 goals led the league. In the playoffs, Riga lost to the HC Davos Dynamo in seven games to miss out on a shot at the Continental Cup. Now going into his final season, Taylor hoped to finally achieve the glory of a Cup win.

    Season 38 Statistics:

In his penultimate season, Kameron Taylor helped lead Riga to the second best record in the extremely competitive European Conference. Leading the league in face-off percentage for the second time in three years and leading all centers in points, Taylor had a majorly successful final season. Unfortunately, the team once again couldn't get past Davos in the European Conference finals, leading Taylor without a cup win in an otherwise excellent career.

Kameron Taylor may not have brought the cup to Cologne or Riga, but he established himself as an easy Hall-of-Fame caliber center in the second half of his career, playing up to the level of greats such as Ethan Osborne and Niklas Lindberg while going against them. In a very strong era for centers, Taylor was an elite playmaker with the leadership qualities and hard-nosed effort to turn into a VHL Hall-of-Famer.

So, I don’t know if this is news to anyone else, but it definitely is for me.

Have you guys ever been in photoshop and something fucks up but doesn’t let you undo enough to fix it? I know it has happened to me and it’s massively annoying because you have to delete layers, start over, etc.

Anyway, if you’re in photoshop there is a way to get more undos! The default is 20 but you can crank it up to 1000! I don’t know where exactly these menus are on PC but you just need to go into Preferences-> Performance and under “History and Cache” there’s a slider for “History States.” If you crank that up, you can have up to 1000 undos. I currently set mine to 500 since I assume it fills up some hidden folder on my harddrive somewhere but even 500 seems like more than enough.

    Regular Season: S34 (COL) - 72GP / 35G / 55A / 90P / +23 / 71PIM / 137H / 466SH / 4GWG / 55.15%FO Playoffs: S34 (COL) - 4GP / 3G / 2A / 5P / -2 / 2PIM / 9H / 22SH / 0GWG / 50.00%FO

    Season 35 Statistics:

    Regular Season: S35 (COL) - 72GP / 57G / 55A / 112P / +53 / 98PIM / 206H / 459SH / 7GWG / 64.05%FO Playoffs: S35 (COL) - 11GP / 7G / 11A / 18P / +4 / 17PIM / 30H / 58SH / 1GWG / 57.11%FO

    Season 37 Statistics:

    Regular Season: S37 (COL/RIG) - 72GP / 54G / 52A / 106P / +35 / 77PIM / 203H / 535SH / 9GWG / 64.48%FO Playoffs: S37 (RIG) - 13GP / 5G / 14A / 19P / +4 / 59PIM / 35H / 61SH / 0GWG / 57.20%FO

    Regular Season: S38 (RIG) - 72GP / 52G / 63A / 115P / +54 / 60PIM / 78H / 536SH / 9GWG / 65.39%FO Playoffs: S38 (RIG) - 10GP / 7G / 10A / 17P / +2 / 31PIM / 6H / 51SH / 1GWG / 60.94%FO

    Career Totals:

    Regular Season:

    576GP / 361G / 429A / 790P / +199 / 566PIM / 1125H / 3777SH / 50GWG
    Playoffs:

    42GP / 23G / 39A / 62P / +6 / 113PIM / 103H / 221SH / 2GWG
Kameron Taylor may not have brought the cup to Cologne or Riga, but he established himself as an easy Hall-of-Fame caliber center in the second half of his career, playing up to the level of greats such as Ethan Osborne and Niklas Lindberg while going against them. In a very strong era for centers, Taylor was an elite playmaker with the leadership qualities and hard-nosed effort to turn into a VHL Hall-of-Famer.

.sniffuM got a reaction from STZ in Fartgate
In a controversy that has rocked the VHLM, E'Twaun Delicious farted in a game earlier this week. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but the fart, which was audible even in the nosebleeds, seemed to actually propel Delicious forward faster. Given he was racing to the goalie on a breakaway opportunity, there is some actual depth to this controversy.

"Now this wasn't a natural fart," said ESPN correspondent Barry Melrose on the controversy. "We have it here zoomed in on the buttocks at super slow speed, there's actually some rippling throughout the cheeks, that's how powerful the fart was. Where's the talk about that? Where is the outrage about a fart clearly driven by performance enhancing drugs?"

"The average human fart will measure anywhere between 0.1 to 0.3 nauts of force," said fart expert Ned Stark (no relation). "From all of the different angles we have, it's clear that this far registered a 0.5, maybe even a 0.6, propelling him forward faster than the goalie could possibly anticipate. In my opinion, this has to be the result of PEDs. There just isn't any other explanation."

Delicious declined to comment on the matter.

Blake Campbell after earning his first victory with the Minot Gladiators

Blake Campbell emerged into the VHLM later than most of his fellow juniors rivals, however, it didn't take him too long to find his groove within the league and make a name for himself. He was picked off waivers by the Minot Gladiators and although he received limited playing time, he managed to not let that bother him. In fact, lot's of scouts believe that his limited junior experience only caused him to push harder in order to reach the next level. His hard work, determination and sacrifice that he's made to the league and his personal improvement has been above average and because of that, he was a fairly good commodity when it was announced he was going to be a Free Agent when he was missed in this seasons junior dispersal draft. As expected, there was great interest around the young goalie. It's not often that you see a high up, active goalie Free Agent so when one comes along, you don't hesitate. Numerous offers came into the young goalie and his agent, however, only one team can be chosen. Now, without further delay, the announcement.

And the team that I will be playing with this season in the VHLM is..

    Why did I choose Brampton?

Brampton offers me a lot of the things I am looking for. Initially I wasn't too sure but that was only because I was fighting with my mind and heart about going to a team I really wanted to play for and to help out a team that was in need. I truly wish I could have been the guy that was willing to help, but this is likely my last season and as you know, my first one didn't go nowhere near how I wanted it to. I want to win and Brampton has a very nice set up going on. They have some nice forwards and some great defenders to help me out. I also noticed they have a decent goalie around the 90 TPE range. Although he's inactive, hopefully Brampton will be able to potentially move him for a piece or two and potentially help out a team in need.

How'd it feel to be taken 8th OV by the Stockholm Vikings?

It felt good to be a goalie and be chosen that high up in the draft. When it came to where I was heading on draft day, I was fairly certain on two teams and it looks like one of them chose me. I spoke to Boubabi prior to the draft day a fair amount and really got a feel for what Stockholm had in mind for their present and future. I am willing to work and continue my path towards becoming a starting goalie within the VHL. I am willing to put in the effort to show them I'm their #1 guy, that I can be their future and that I would love nothing more than to be a Viking for a long time to come. Once again, thank you so much for drafting me.

What's next for you (Blake Campbell)?

Currently I'm focusing on getting everything rounded out to 70. Agility, Rebound Control, Hand Speed and Size have now all hit that mark and I'm currently focusing my attention on how well I'm skating. I'm not the best skater and I think that's fairly important. However, I don't believe I'm going to work on this one all the way til 70. I might get it to 45 - 50 and then begin working on my reaction time which is also very low right now. I hope my works pays off and I can help Brampton make a strong run this season and hopefully come out on top!

.sniffuM reacted to Tagger in Encarnacion Ranks Minor Penalties (#26->#21)
According to Wikipedia, there are 26 varieties of minor penalty in the sport of hockey. As a PIM expert, I will be ranking all 26 PIMs, giving you a good guide as to how you should attempt to hockey once you get on the ice.

    #26 – Interference
If there is one thing that cannot be tolerated either on or off the ice, it’s cock-blocking. You’ve got a team-mate who’s found an attractive girl on the side, he’s about to get his, you have NO REASON TO GET INVOLVED! In some ways, it is great that this is a PIM as it’s an effective way of removing any cock-blockers from the situation, but the fact it rewards players with PIMs is a disgrace to the art of PIMing.

#25 – Delay of the Game
Look, we’re all trying to get PIMs here, if you’re going to hold us back just so you get yours, you deserve to be beaten up. Again, why this is rewarded with PIMs is beyond me, remove him from the situation by all means, but this only encourages the tarnishing of the game.

    #24 – Diving
Diving is the sole reason for the reduction of PIMs since the early seasons. Guys figured out that they could rack up PIMs by pretending they’d been hit as opposed to actually going out and hitting someone. So a confrontation that was solved with fists and rewarded with 5 minute PIMs would now instead have a dive-off for 2 minute PIMs. Stop ruining the game, PIM like a man.

    #23 – Holding the Stick
I figure the refs must have stopped calling this one once everyone started bringing one onto the ice at the start of the game.

    #22 – Illegal Stick
I’ve been in the league for seven seasons now and I’ve yet to be rewarded for smuggling cocaine in my stick.  Like, why am I putting in the effort if the refs aren’t going to call it?

    #21 – Illegal Equipment
Like, I would at least hope that my cocaine filled stick would meet this criteria considering it’s a baseball bat, but nope.

Please to announce the draft went fairly well.

    1.     BRAMPTON BLADES (From Ottawa): E'Twaun Delicious
    6.     BRAMPTON BLADES: Bronson Faux
    18.     BRAMPTON BLADES (From Saskatoon From Bern): Artemis Fowll
    20.     BRAMPTON BLADES (From Bratislava): Franklin Romanowski
    36.        BRAMPTON BLADES: Larry Esposito

So we'll be running a full lineup of 6 forwards and 4 D and I have a free agent card I can use as well. I'm pleased at what we have to work with, a bunch of active players mixed in with a good support group.

I'd also like to announce that Cowboy will be coming in as the assistant GM here cause well he is a great guy I'll have that announcement up before the season starts.

    Initial lineup thoughts:

    Taneyev - Faux - Delicious
    Zug - Willcox - Koskinen
    Salvador - Romanowski
    Harkness - Fowll

Harkness and Salvador will double shift on lines, The 4th pairing extra minutes will goto whomever has the best activity going to make it fair Once any of you guys overtake Harkness in TPE, you get his double shift slot

    More info to come soon!
