Sim Review:

Upset of the Sim - Game 203

Toronto 2 - DC 5

Toronto started the season strong, but have seen a slide as of late. This game is an interesting one as Toronto used their Back-up Start against the bottom-feeding DC Dragons. The Dragons then went on to beat Toronto leaning on forward Nathan Steele (@73MPL4R) who had a hat trick. Immediately after this game Toronto GM @Peace and DC GM @Enorama made a trade that sent Steele from the American capital to the capital of Ontario. Was it this performance that sold Toronto on Steele? It makes for an interesting storyline as Steele's performance could have some serious implications on his new team who just blew a Back-up Start because of his own good play.

We acquired Steele and a pick for Hadrian yesterday. Steele scored a hatty against his former team today.

Game 200 Review:

This was a highly entertaining game between two teams in the Victory Hockey League. The 1st period saw a total of 6 goals scored - one for Los Angeles, two for Warsaw, one for Los Angeles again, one for Warsaw again, and finally one more for the Stars. The second period belonged to the Los Angeles Stars, who scored two goals in just over 30 seconds about halfway through the period. With this two goal lead, the Stars were able to start focusing on defense. While Warsaw was able to cut the lead to one goal in the third period, they could not muster anything more in their comeback attempt.

Game recap: Game 208

Chicago Phoenix vs Prague Phantoms

Chicago currently was sitting dead last going into this sim whilst Prague was sitting 6th. Going into this game Prague was definitely the favourite to win as Chicago has been really struggling!

Period 1:
The 1st period was an extreme blowout as Prague scored 4 goals!! The 1st goal was scored by Its Gucci and assisted by Darth Kaprizov! Goal #2 scored by Asher Reinhart, assisted by Robert Bouchard and Luc Tessier! Goal #3 scored by Asher Reinhart, assisted by Robert Bouchard and Baby Bob! Goal #4 scored by none other than Asher Reinhart! This goal was assisted by Nathan Powers and Baby Bob!

Period 1 recap:
The 1st period was a very good showing for Asher Reinhart and the Prague Phantoms! They came out buzzing scoring their 4 goals in 1 period! Reinhart has been putting on a clinic!

Period 2:
The 2nd period was a bit slower with 2 goals. Chicago Scored at 8:52 on the PP and that was scored by Creed! Prague scored at 10:37 and that was scored by Robert Bouchard and assisted by Asher Reinhart and Nathan Powers!

Period 2 recap:
Period 2 was much slower than period 1 with only 2 goals being scored but Creed got 1 goal on the board for Chicago which was much needed but Prague got a goal pretty quick after, not letting Chicago have any hope!

Period 3:
Goal! Scored by Asher Reinhart and assisted by Baby bob and Robert Bouchard!

Period 3 recap:
Asher Reinhart decided 3 goals wasnt enough and scored 1 more!!!! The 3 stars were #1 Asher Reinhart #2 Robert Bouchard #3 Baby Bob!

Game 194 Moscow vs D.C.

This was a game that D.C. was never really in, with Moscow opening up the scoring with 3 unanswered goals in the first. By the end of the 2nd period the score was 5-1 for Moscow. D.C. managed to add two goals in the third, but ultimately failed to give Moscow much of a challenge. Duncan Idaho had a field day for Moscow, registering 1 goal and 3 assists. D.C. 's Barry Taffe was pulled from the game halfway through the 2nd and was responsible for all 5 of their goals against.

Game 208 Chicago vs Prague

Chicago is on a mission to win the draft lottery this season and this game was another step in the right direction. Prague opened up the first with 4 goals and coasted from there for a 6-1 win. Asher Reinhart was dominant, with 4 goals and an assist for 5 points on the night. The shots were a staggering 83 to 23 in favor of Prague. Chicago's bot goalie performed well in that sense. He had a 0.928 save percentage despite allowing 6 goals.

Game Recap: Game #193

London 5

Davos 4

In a game featuring two European teams at the opposite ends of the conference, the score was closer than one might expect. The EU Conference-leading London United have been riding their rookie-fueled offense all season while Davos has been struggling to score. The United opened the scoring after only playing 1:23 on Zaza Colors’ 13th but Nicholas Mariani responded for Davos with his 9th just over four minutes later. London’s Shane Lazeski scored before another four minutes had passed and that’s how the first period ended, with London up 2-1 and the shots tied at 11 apiece. Then things got interesting. London owned the second period scoring three goals in rapid succession including two on the power play. Before the period was six minutes in, Lazeski, Rolf Fizzlebeef Jr and Nils Godlander had all tallied to put London up 5-2 with the United outshooting the hapless Dynamo 19-9. The game was as good as over. Or was it? Davos must have stolen some of London’s Gatorade in the second intermission because it was the Dynamo that came out flying in the third period with Gregory Bates, David Tavau, and Trevor Wallace all scoring in the first 3:32! In spite of again tying in shots with 14 each, goalies Kunibuni UnGuri and Cole Pearce would stop everything else with Pearce picking up his 17th win for London. One thing that helped London to the win was going 2-for-3 with the man advantage and winning 58.8% of the faceoffs. London’s Matt Avens would pick up two assists to hold off teammate Godlander atop the rookie and team scoring leaderboard.

3 Stars

1 - Trevor Wallace @LilHCorny (DAV), 1-1-2, 7 shots

2 - Nils Godlander @Moon (LDN), 1-2-3, GWG, 7 shots

3 - Shane Lazeski @Lazarus (LDN), 2-0-2

London Mentions: @McWolf @Mr Bohannan @TacticalHammer @N0HBDY

Davos Mentions: @Mistxh J @Tyler @Ahma @Berocka
