Edit: In case any future people see the is and don’t see the date; it was purely an April Fool’s joke, Josh was in on it (in fact it was his idea) and the donation money is not only safe but audited.

I want legal action anyway!

That $0.03/L really is a killer…

At this point when we’re already paying $2.00/L everything behind doesn’t even matter 🥲

I totally forgot what day it was and sat here shocked for a good few minutes.

This was a good one tbf but the "potentially thousands of dollars" was a bit of a stretch 😂

welcome to European prices... a litre diesel (the more expensive fuel) is priced at around CHF 1.95/litre. Which is about CAD 2.91/litre or USD 2.15/litre or USD 8.14/gallon. On the other hand, European roads are by and large narrower a/o have less lanes and hence only a few drive cars with the fuel consumption of a pool house ;)

The thing is people are freaking out about the “carbon tax” because it has the word tax in it but the truth is that our gas was literally more expensive last week before the tax increased because it fluctuates so wild normally so it isn’t making a substantial difference. Plus you get a quarterly rebate that pays it all back and then some so only really high polluters are losing money.

People are still protesting it though because tax = 😠

because literally just corporate greed. FTFY.

Protesting the Carbon Tax is just in vogue for the under-educated and over-Facebooked.
